Theists believe God created the universe.

Many theists believe in creationism although some now call it "intelligent design".

So the next logical question is "who created God?"

Can "atheist creationism" answer that question?

The following documentary published by DarkMatter2525, a creative atheist, actually answers that question.

The answer is revealed near the end of the documentary.

Man created God.  So God exists in the minds of theists and as a fictional character in books and movies.

Many people find comfort in their belief in their imaginary friend and that's okay.

Unfortunately, some people want to kill those who don't believe in their imaginary friend.  As an infidel, I object to any religion that teaches their followers to kill non-believers or to kill people who have a different imaginary friend.

Who Created God?

Humanity.

In the beginning there was the great nothing of nothingness, then Nature burped and the Universe was regurgitated.

Who created God?

Many cultures throughout history and prehistory have created god(s).  They are all simply attempts to explain an environment they could not possibly understand so the easiest fallback position is "God did it" or "Hera did it" or "Thor did it" or "Cthullu did it".

It depends on whether or not you believe in God.

If you are an atheist you will believe God was created.  If you believe in God you will believe that God does not have a beginning or an end.

1.  God

A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions.

Al, I did not recognize the YouTuber's name but I have seen this video before.   It is a keeper.   Thanks for posting it.

Based on the evidence (including the lack thereof) my current conclusion is that every god on record was created by human beings.   I remain willing to consider evidence to the contrary yet nobody seems to have anything to offer other than 'faith' and personal 'experiences' that cannot be shared.

I think the more accurate question would be "What created God?" and the I believe the answer would be a combination of fear and convenience. God was created because it was a convenient answer to humanities deepest fear that we've ever since we became self aware. The convenient answer to the question of "Why and what are we?" and "Why are we here?". Without easy to relay convenient answers to these questions humanity may not have clustered together around belief systems. When you study different religions you come to see the great variety of characters and Godlike abilities, usually based around things that are particular to the regions they were found, but all have very similar structure, all with some origin story that ties the people to ancient Gods who they believe made them and have a purpose for them. All likely invented to keep people feeling safe and keep them from really dwelling on deep thoughts of where did we come from or what's our purpose and more focused on farming and hunting and just being thankful to the Gods who provided those opportunities.

Good answer. Some people can't abide the thought that we are just worm food and there is no afterlife

Which is a very good reason for us to want to believe happier thoughts.    It is the concept of 'ignorance is bliss'.   It is taking the blue pill to live an illusion vs. taking the red pill and dealing with reality.   IMO of course.

IMO there is nothing at all wrong with that.   You are not holding as truth that which is entirely unevidenced.    But you are not precluding notions that you would wish to be true and that are still (as far as we know) within the realm of possibility.

Does that make me a " know it all"?

No one and nothing created God.  He has always existed and always will.  No beginning and no end.

He has always existed

So does "He" have genitalia? Does "He" have a beard? We were supposedly made in "His" image, does "He" have male nipples or a belly button? What about buttocks and a rectum? What in the wide universe makes you believe "He" is a "He" even if you are convinced that some sort of eternal God exists?

Anyone can believe in whatever God or gods or Goddesses they want, none are any more valid or provable than if one believes themselves God and that this entire universe they are experiencing is a figment of their own imagination and when they die they will awaken once again as the infinite eternal never ending celestial being that they are only to create for themselves a new fantasy universe to role play in as a peasant or maybe a soldier this time, or a cubical worker perhaps... blue pill? Red pill? Blue God? Red God? Which one should humanity choose?! Or, perhaps, we should grow up and think for ourselves instead of demanding some mysterious cosmic super being do it for us.

No one and nothing created God.

You appear to be saying that God doesn't exist.  But then you say:

He has always existed and always will.  No beginning and no end.

Since there is no evidence to support that statement, it must be based on "faith".
