Full Blown Racism And Bigotry Of MAGA On Display At Trump NYC Rally
@shannonrwatts · 4h Trump rally speaker: “And these Latinos, they love making babies too. Just know that. They do. They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside. Just like they did to our country.” video https://x.com/BillKristol/status/1850629736478687372
I dont know who that asshole is, but he was given a speaking slot at a Trump rally.
They're really looking underneath the barrel for these scum bags, the lower the better, such vile garbage
Jesus Christ - did you see the responses on X? This is supposed to be a comedian and they're wondering why we're not laughing. I couldn't tell how many were laughing at this asshole's 'jokes'. The audio was low.
One would be too many.
No shit.
He's a popular comedian.
Democrats have gone full Tipper Gore.
What’s his name then? Don’t cheat. No Googling.
Does he have a Netflix special? A residency at Vegas? Just trying to get a handle oh how “popular” this guy is.
Tony Hinchcliffe. He hosts Kill Tony. It's one of the most popular comedy podcasts. I don't know how popular off the top of my head, but I will get the rankings.
A popular comedian? lol
One no one has ever heard of and what I find so appalling is that it's found to be funny by anyone and brushed off as if we're the ones who don't have a sense of humor at this full blow racist ignorance.
you are out of your mind
Here it is:
Most Popular stand up podcast in America.
Thanks. I decided to look him up myself.
Yeah, he sounds delightful. /s
its completely predictable. the maga suck ups will now claim that trump got sand bagged by one comedian.
they loaded the fucking teleprompter for him.
trump said in his speech that the press is "the enemy of the people"
Miller made a phrase that echoed Hitler's "Germany is for Germans" word for word subbing America in.
This fiasco is all about one thing, getting low information conspiracy addled young men to commit to Trump. Elon Musk howled like a caveman.
One of the biggest disgraces in American political history, and of course validated all the concerns about the 1939 rally.
Wow, this is the type of stuff Sean likes?
Yeah, there’s this conceit (mainly among assholes) that they should be able to say any shitty thing on their minds, and if the rest of us don’t laugh, we’re the assholes.
I like stand up comedy. If you like stand up comedy, you know who he is.
[deleted][✘]
Horseshit! No one is censoring this asshole. I certainly haven’t suggested any such thing. Why make shit up?
your comments are growing increasingly ridiculous
Why are you making things up? I never accused you of trying to censor him.
What an odd reaction that provoked.
this has very little to do with one comedian, it was all intentional. Trump wants to appeal to racist young white males of low information and high "testosterone".
it is plain as day
Written by you:
Also written by you:
Hinchcliffe is a Joe Rogan Austin transplant deadender charity case whose only appeal is to neanderthal emo proud boys...
A friend insisted that I watch Hinchcliffe's routine at Trump's Madison Square Garden event today. He was awful. That joke about the giant mass of trash in the Atlantic being Puerto Rico was a huge fail in New York City. The whole rally was nutters!
You're defending a racist asshole, Sean. Well done.
Yes, that's how you become the asshole.
What's so hard to understand? If you aren't trying to censor him, than you aren't an asshole. [deleted][✘]
exactly
Racism is never funny.
Who is trying to censor him?
Who the fuck is trying to censor anyone? No one that I can see.
You have to be invited to this type of event and the Trump Campaign did just that. No one is saying sensor him, they are trying to figure out why he was invited in the first place.
The fact that they disagree with what he said is not "censorious", it is "critical".
Based on what you report here, one has to wonder what in the world the rally producers were thinking including this guy in the program. This guy seems as poisonous as that Dice Clay guy, who I never thought was funny in the least. He was Ebola that thought it had a sense of humor.
I agree, what motivates people like this to be unabashedly bigoted?
In 2024, the most obvious answer is Trump.
I think what you actually meant is, what motivates people like this to display their unabashed bigotry. That is, I do not believe Trump is the motive for their bigotry but, rather, what makes them believe they are safe in displaying the bigotry they already possessed.
That said, I cannot deny that such a feeling of safety is directly attributed to Trump and his rhetoric, in my opinion. Fortunately, and while it may be wishful thinking on my part, the reaction of the crowd seemed rather subdued, which I interpret as dissatisfaction with what the guy was saying. I would like to believe the majority found it as disgusting as I did.
I'd believe it if I believed it would influence their votes, but they're sitting at a Trump rally, so I don't.
on the racist, bigot, xenophobe, white supremacist, xtian nationalist circuit ...
The adverb 'unabashedly' clarified my obvious meaning.
That is my position too and that is exactly my point. I was not suggesting that Trump is turning people into bigots (that is a ridiculous notion).
In normal times, I would make that assumption too. But anyone who is supporting Trump at this stage —given all we know about Trump— is, as far as I am concerned, part of a personality cult.
Someone who I had heard of, Jim Breuer, who I had found somewhat amusing in the past, has gone to the dark side and performed a 'comedy' set at an event or rally or 'campaign' event somewhere and it was about as funny as a heart attack. I believe John Russell posted something about it.
Disgusting and sickening and repulsive is what some seem to find amusing.
I disagree. I think there are many who would be labeled as Trump supporters who do not in fact support the man, but rather, oppose the opposition. The idea that the opposition is preferrable to the personality of an individual seems ludicrous to me. That is, because Trump may be an asshat somehow legitimizes Harris is logically indefensible.
'I like stand up comedy. If you like stand up comedy, you know who he is.'
Now THAT'S funny.
lolololol
I like stand up comedy - I never heard of this asshole until this former 'president' traitor 1939 nazi rally
'roid rage'
Under normal circumstances your argument is sound. This is anything but a normal circumstance.
In 2024, we have a traitor running for the presidency. Trump is a loose-cannon, vindictive narcissist who clearly would like to have authoritarian rule, who has said that he would consider using the force of the government (even the military) against his political opponents. He has shown that he will use coercion (threats) to get people to conform to his wishes. He believes he is always right ("I know more about war than the generals") and will surround himself with sycophants who will carry out whatever he wants to stay in his good graces.
To wit, Trump is unfit to serve. He should never be considered. Thus Harris is the only viable and fit candidate for the presidency.
I see. So, your argument is that any alternative to Trump is preferrable, regardless of what that alternative is?
No, Drakk, that is NOT my argument.
The alternative to Trump is Harris. If the alternative to Trump was someone just as bad as Trump my position would be against BOTH of them.
Harris is a normal D presidential nominee. She is presidential, rational, grounded, intelligent, articulate, very experienced, would provide a good face and voice for our nation, and views the presidency as a duty, not as a means to exercise power in pursuit of personal desires.
While I will certainly not like some of her policies, that pales in comparison to character, demeanor, and philosophy given the alternative is Trump.
Harris is fit and normal. Trump is unfit and replete with negatives (more than any other nominee in my lifetime and likely our history).
So, in very clear terms, my argument is that Harris is the only viable and fit choice.
You seem to believe there is no need for a "fitness for office" standard as long as you like the policies. A lot of very intelligent people reject that position. America bending over for trump has already poisoned the minds of half a generation of American young people, many of whom admire or want to emulate his sick behavior. In what universe is this good for the country?
We’re never going to get an answer because there isn’t one. This victimization trend has been growing for a while. They say something obnoxious, decent people object or criticize, and then suddenly it’s “censorship,” and they’re a victim. And the rest of us are all supposed to be ashamed of ourselves.
So can you show me which primary she won, this lie is no different than claiming she was a successful prosecutor. There is nothing normal about her coronation, no matter how many times you claim she is.
Fortunately the world doesnt revolve around what you think is normal. A political party doesnt have to follow rules imposed from the outside. All they have to is present a candidate if they want one on the ballot. For most of U.S. history presidential primaries were window dressing and the candidate was chosen by party insiders.
Harris was the vice president and the logical selection, and she was selected by Biden and then the delegates to the convention. End of story.
You are still whining about that? This is your best shot???
[✘]
You think it makes any difference whatsoever in this race that the D party did not conduct a second primary after Biden dropped out late in the race?
That is a tired, ancient, feeble talking point.
The response ignored my obvious point that Harris is a normal D candidate in terms of the qualities I listed:
And instead of dealing with my point, I get deflection to the irrelevant talking point about the lack of a D primary.
Your consistency is a pleasure to 'behold.' I mean it. At this point, if Harris was to slip up and cause a 'falling out' with her policy or character. . . I can say you have 'stood pact' for a long time and I can trust you to not go any farther - at that stage where you walk away. Thankfully, you have not had to cross that bridge away from her so far. We need somebody to hope for and vote for in this election that is reasonable and has a 'level-head' on her shoulders!
Perhaps, but at least you can rest easier knowing you have the support of Putin and Xi. I'm sure they completely agree with you.
What kind of nonsense is this? You just took my position that the lack of a second primary is irrelevant and equated me with two authoritarians. Slimy.
The Ds had to scramble. They did and they chose their nominee in a rushed timeframe. They are good with their nominee. Now we have a general election. If Harris is elected then the people will have voted her in. If not, she loses by the choice of the people.
Democracy is fully intact. Putin and Xi and authoritarian rule is a stupid comparison.
Actually, I thought that I heard disapproving sounds.
[deleted][✘]
That 'comedian' at the 'rally' was saying how he doesn't apologize for his 'jokes'. I didn't hear any.
Agreed. It doesn’t matter how much people might laugh. When the jokes come in the format of “[x] is trash” or “[x] are just so stupid,” there’s nothing funny or clever being said. It’s just hate.
Yes, he definitely wasn't funny. It seemed to me he was falling flat with the crowd, for the part of his routine we see.
In terms of an asshole being given a speaking spot at a Trump rally-- that's not only acceptable, bur its actually mandatory!!!
[✘]
that's exactly the racist shit that maga crowd was there to hear ...
Miller, the anti-christ's asshole, must have arranged the 'entertainment' that night. The evil racist scum behind the former 'president' traitor
An accurate portrayal.
I found that on Meta and came here to post is somewhere and I saw that, and it was the perfect spot for it.
They feel emboldened now because we have let them.
Ouch!
Right wing racism on full display, and from the right wing talking heads? Silence.
That is who the Republican party is now, any sane rational non-racist non-sexist Republican has already jumped ship. I mean, it's not like all of a sudden, these folk just magically appeared in America, their racist agenda has been here for decades, centuries even, passed on from one generation of racist shitbag to the next. It's just that Donald Trump gave them a voice and a place to feel welcome where they could be themselves after decades of feeling like they had to hide their hate, racism, fascism and sexism. They should be ashamed of themselves but clearly they have no shame. The fact that just under half of the nation is this deplorable is a truly sad reality that the rest of us must confront and reject, we've gone too long just sweeping these shitbags under the carpet.
It seems like MAGA was determined to live up to its 1939 MSG rally roots.
Indeed. This is what they call humor. No wonder the satire they post here sucks so thoroughly. They really do find it funny.
It wasnt humor, it was red meat. Trump is going to motivate the under 30 males to vote for him by being racist and outrageous. Its the point. Hulk Hogan was there too. I think some strippers sucking on giant popsicles are up next.
That's the maga morons in the comments were saying - that he was a comedian - because that is what they find funny, obviously. I didn't say I found it funny John.
Its more than just one guy.
I know John. I didn't say I found it funny John. I'm on your side John, okay?
Yeah, all those Pro-Israel speakers sure remind one of Neo-Nazis. Great point.
The Trump campaign is already apologizing. Too late assholes.
Why is that? Does it not please you that even they think this guy was wrong?
Hollow apologies are, well, hollow, Drakk. Meaningless.
It was all done on purpose. Wake up.
They will ALL try to spin it as one rogue comedian.
Even if he was never there this rally would have been disgusting.
Exactly. When one knows the type of speakers one is booking and what they're going to say (see Tacos' @1.4.6 ) any attempt to apologize for them saying exactly the sort of shit one knew they would say, and wanted them to say, is just a lie.
It's like an abusive husband apologizing to his wife while still hitting her.
You mean Tucker Carlson and Stephen Miller? The finest examples of.bigoted assholes….
Ah, I see. Any action taken by the "enemy" is always evil, regardless of what it may be.
That is NOT Sandy's argument. She was quite clear.
The Trump organization knew the speakers they booked. Further, it is not as if the comments are antithetical to Trump's rhetoric.
My meaning is clear, so don't try to twist it. That's dishonest.
They knowingly booked speakers they knew were bigots, and got the bigotry they ordered, in plenty. Apologies for what one is intentionally doing are dishonest, and you know it.
It’s like when an attorney deliberately says something in front of the jury knowing it will raise an objection and be stricken from the record.
Looking at the "news" this morning, some mainstream sites are focusing almost entirely on the Puerto Rico "garbage" joke , as if the only problem with this rally was 10 seconds out of three hours. The whole thing was a freak show, but we have degenerated so much even blatant hate speech is being normalized.
I had zero interest in watching it. The clips are sickening enough.
'but what she meant to say'
but
'but what you meant to say'
I equate it to Fox giving permission to bigots to come out of the closet.
Elon Musk got on stage and screamed like a caveman. I think that is the mentality this rally was intended for.
A bunch of hateful racist incels.
Just amazing. Trump has emboldened the worst in his supporters.
This was no accident or humor gone bad. This is Trumps closing message.
If anyone still believes that Trump and the MAGAs aren’t racist they are racists themselves.
I seen plenty of racism in my lifetime but to see this display in MSG in 2024 is something to behold, Trump is right the US is a shithole and he and his MAGA racists buddies are the shit that makes up the hole.
Trump just called the press the "enemy of the people". Sounds pretty fricking Nazi to me.
What do you call them when accusing them of only caring about ratings and not the election?
I have been scrolling through some twitter threads.
This is more of a vile freak show than anyone could have imagined . Walz was right to bring up 1939.
But, but, but ....some posters say this leads to more assassination attempts.......because of the Dems. rhetoric.............
Comparing him to Hitler...
they can kiss my ass
mine too, nah, they're not worthy
I wanted to say "mine, too" but none of them are worthy of looking at my fine, white, ass
I no longer have access to "X".
Now if I foolishly click on the black X
they ask me to verify an email address that is clearly not mine.
Good riddance to that Musk trash.
here's a guy who looks like UFC who must have been kicked in the head a couple hundred times too many
The projection. The hate.
maga on steroids is far too kind
Meghan McCain took time off from her shilling for trump to complain about him -
She's a fool. Her father would be ashamed.
This is not the United States I grew up believing in. This is the worst of our history, the parts we fought to put behind us, happening over again.
We should be ashamed.
That was a mistake, putting things behind us.
WE are, THEY aren't.
And therein lies a large part of the problem.
Exactly.
she ain't right in the head
When you already have a reputation for being racist, nativist, xenophobic, and sexist, maybe don’t tell jokes that showcase those things. Just a thought.
The party of the Circus has clowns speaking at their rally. Unsurprising.
A sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden, do you think Kamala could pull that off?
I believe you could.
A sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden, do you think Kamala could pull that off?
I guess it’s settled then. We should go with the flow and embrace racism, misogyny, hate, and everything else Trump stands for.
First, absolutely. Second, what the fuck is up with Trump and his supporters being so obsessed with crowd size? It's like to them size is the only thing that matters. Perhaps MLK's famous quote should have read “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin or the size of a crowd but by the content of their character”.
Just because Trump has a large group of racists that follow him around the country and go to all his events like fucking mindless cultists doesn't mean he's actually winning over the majority of Americans. He's not, he will lose the popular vote by millions and anyone with more than half a brain knows it.
Reactionary propagandists won't mention that while Trump may have had 20,000 people at his hate fest at Madison Square Garden yesterday, Harris had 23,000 people at her rally in Georgia on Thursday night, and more than 30,000 people at her rally in Houston on Friday, that a reported 1.5 million people registered to attend.
START AT 3:35
What's with the insane laughter coming from Fucker Carlson?
Very sad, pathetic, and even disgusting that the closer we come to this election day, the hatred and rhetoric are reaching all time highs on both sides. In my 70 years I have never seen it this bad.
which side is worse?
All one needs do is read the commentary on this seed. And there is your answer.
Personally I'd call it 50/50 but that's just me. Not really keeping specific scores.
the 'right' by far, there is no comparison between the two
Really? Point them out
Always remember false equivalencies are by definition false...
JFC as if there is a need .............just take a tally from 20 on for a representative cross section
How can you watch anything he said or anyone else at that 'rally' and say that?
If you want to defend that rally give it your best shot.
Okay so it's 50/50 as said above
Who is defending the rally?
How anyone can watch any of that 'rally' and say such nonsense is....I don't have the words anymore
Oh fer gawds sakes, Jim. Those comments aren't any where near what some of your side has said
you are
30.1.5
I'm looking at the overall picture. Seems some of you want to concentrate on one event.
'Who is defending the rally?'
The never-ending defendersoftheindefensible
You're moving the goal posts. We're only talking about one event here. You know....the TRUMP rally at Madison Square Garden? You even said that one only need to read the commentary on this seed to figure out which side is worse.
That one event is just the topper of all the other hateful ignorant bigot hate fests 'rallies/campaign events' quite the doozy and quite the 'event'
but you're looking at the overall picture
pretty shitty 'overall picture' on the right without this 1939esq nazi event
Perhaps you didn't read what I responded to. Here, let me help.................
Must be a guy spelt that way .
30.2
That doesn't make a difference to any of my comments to you
Sorry you did not get the answer you wanted and expected to hear. As you well know, not everybody shares the same views. Contrary to what some here may believe, that does not make them bad people. Something that needs to be dealt with.
There is no comparing Trump with any nominee in US history. The notion that his negatives (and his intentions) are equivalent to Harris' or any other nominee is preposterous.
Nice deflection but I stand with what I said. I'm done. Have a good day.
How on Earth do you read my comment as deflection? Deflection from what?
Reread the first three lines of my post that you did not even respond to, specifically that different people have different views.
[deleted][✘]
Stating that people have different views says absolutely nothing. We all know that.
Instead of deflection, I stayed on point.
There is no comparing Trump with any nominee in US history. The notion that his negatives (and his intentions) are equivalent to Harris' or any other nominee is preposterous.
It is obvious we are not going to agree here and neither one of us is going to agree or back down. With that said, I am done so with respect I wish you a good evening.
Yes it should
No, it shouldn't, and doesn't.
both sides is bullshit.
That is one thing I will agree with you on.
Some see just repeating Trumps words or pointing out facts about him as "hatred and rhetoric" which is why some consider "both sides" to be equally at fault. Basically, if you're not lubing up your hands and getting on your knees and metaphorically giving Trump a handy, you're expressing "hate and rhetoric". Saying "Trump is a felon" or being insulted by Trumps hateful rhetoric towards more than half country that doesn't support him is apparently the same as claiming Harris slept her way to the top or is a communist "destroying America".
this is a REAL dumbass
Who's controlling the hurricanes? They want the land?
she's probably a trump precinct captain
get the barf bags out . trump has to mentally restrain himself from grabbing Paula White's hoo- ha as she prays over him today.
video
an oldie but a goodie
Bunch of freaks.
Back in August Joe Rogan recommended that Trump hire the racist comedian to write jokes for him
So he knew exactly what the 'comic' was going to say then and probably approved the C word joke but someone else removed it after he approved it.
Your proof of this is where?
Here is the video under 'fire' - - it is only 12 minutes long (the comedian 'edition') and I, for the life of me, can't figure out WHY racist remarks are even a part of this. There really was not need to make it personal:
Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe Full Remarks at Trump Rally at Madison Square Garden in New York
NOTE: There were other less 'funny' offenders making hasty, hateful, remarks on stage at Madison Square Garden on this occasion not presented here.
"The American dream alive and well right here"
It's a NIGHTMARE
