Trump unloads on Biden over border crisis

Trump unloads on Biden over border crisis
“There has never been a time on our southern border like what is happening now but more importantly, what is about to happen,” Mr. Trump said. “Now that Biden has implemented nationwide Catch-and-Release, illegal immigrants from every corner of the Earth will descend upon our border and never be returned. You can never have a secure border unless people who cross illegally are promptly removed.”

The ever confused Joe Biden has now sent a team of his "advisors" to assess the situation on the southern border as newly opened containment facilities quickly fill up. Jen Psaki is sticking to the narrative that the situation is not at crisis level and she confirmed that the Biden policy will remain in effect. As migrants, who may or may not be infected continue to cross into Texas, the nation is slowly getting the story thanks to a unique source.

Suddenly,  there is one man who is going to make Joe Biden accountable for the radical change in policy on the border.

Donald Trump took direct aim at those changes:

“A mass incursion into the country by people who should not be here is happening on an hourly basis, getting worse by the minute. Many have criminal records, and many others have and are spreading COVID”
.....Donald Trump. I think Trump's got him. If there is another surge in covid in the southwest - it is on Biden. If the border patrol gets overwhelmed - It's on Biden. If there continues to be a steep rise in the number of juveniles crossing - it's on Biden. I'm betting it's only going to get worse!

There is no doubt that Joe Biden and the radicals around him have created this crisis.

Donald Trump just found a way to force the media to cover it.

After all, Joe Biden told us he would rescind everything that President Trump did to secure the border as a candidate. As a president, he has been fairly open about tearing down border security at every level. Even southern state democrats are getting frustrated.

For those who voted for normalcy - is this it?

"many others have and are spreading COVID”.....Donald Trump

Donald didn't seem that concerned when he was holding mask-less super spreader events at the white house just 7 months ago...

"If there is another surge in covid in the southwest - it is on Biden. If the border patrol gets overwhelmed - It's on Biden. If there continues to be a steep rise in the number of juveniles crossing - it's on Biden."

Funny how you didn't seem to blame Trump for anything that happened during his four years, now two months in and you're ready to blame Biden for anything that happens.

"I'm betting it's only going to get worse!"

Sound more like you're gleefully hoping it's only going to get worse. Sad that some conservatives are basically death wishing the Biden administration because some conservatives apparently hate any America where they're not in charge.

Trump didn't invite migrants. He worked on securing the border.

Not true. Replacement wall is not new miles of wall.

Under Clinton, existing fences on the US side were extended to 75 miles, mostly in San Diego.

Under Bush, the government committed to 700 miles total which was "finished " during the Obama years.

The Secure Fence Act of 2006 , signed into law on October 26, 2006, by President George W. Bush [22] authorized and partially funded the potential construction of 700 miles (1,125 km) of physical fence/barriers along the Mexican border. The bill passed with supermajorities in both chambers. [23] [24] Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff announced that an eight-month test of the virtual fence he favored would precede any construction of a physical barrier. The government of Mexico and ministers of several Latin American countries condemned the plans. Governor of Texas Rick Perry expressed his opposition, saying that the border should be more open and should support safe and legal migration with the use of technology. [25] The barrier expansion was opposed by a unanimous vote by the Laredo, Texas , City Council. [26] Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas said that the bill would devastate Laredo. He stated "These are people that are sustaining our economy by forty percent, and I am gonna close the door on them and put [up] a wall? You don't do that. It's like a slap in the face." He hoped that Congress would revise the bill to better reflect the realities of life on the border

Under Obama, including vehicle barriers in AZ and NM, the wall, according to the previous law was declared complete

with  692 miles completed, still lots of wide open vehilcle barriers in NM & AZ,

less than 9% of the Texas border being restricted.

End of the Trump era? The existing walls at the end of the Obama Admin have only been extended by 47 miles,

33 miles of which is a secondary fence mandated in the San Diego area ( where possible )

so 80 miles in new construction....

So 8 years of yelling about immigration boiled down to replacing 452 miles and adding 47 for a new total

of 739.

Every inch of TX border is being fought for in court with a 600 mile unfenced section from

The Dem wits own this mess

The governor of texas drops all mask mandates, then claims, (incorrectly), that if there is a spike in covid cases, it's Biden's fault.

Let that sink in, Greg. Abbott is exposing Texans and Americans to covid by dropping the mask mandate, then blaming illegals... Gee whiz, it's almost like he is trying to create a problem so he can blame Biden for it.

Oh wait, that's EXACTLY what he is doing. Create a problem, blame a Democrat. Right out of the GOP playbook.

I mean, a SMART man would have said, "We have illegals coming across the border, make sure you wear masks!!!!".

But Abbott is a moron.

The Trump administration abandoned truthful reporting when 2019 approached 1 million

then dropped due to our own COVID issues.

The Biden Admin has plenty of cushion given the historical numbers.

But that only applies if you are willing to accept facts over partisan talking points.

Need a newer/more current report since that one is from 2017.  February reported 100,000 Illegal Aliens.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. border agents detained nearly 100,000 migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border in February, according to two people familiar with preliminary figures, the highest monthly total since a major border surge in mid-2019.

The figures, which have not been previously reported, show the scope of a growing migrant influx at the southwest border as U.S. President Joe Biden, a Democrat, seeks to roll back some of the restrictive policies of former President Donald Trump, a Republican. February was Biden's first full month in office.

Last month's total would represent the highest tally for the month of February since 2006. The sources who provided the figures to Reuters spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The nearly 100,000 migrants detained at the border in February represent an increase over a figure of 78,000 in January. February's total appears to be the highest monthly number since June 2019 during a large border surge that Trump cited as justification for a broad immigration crackdown.

A 22,000 increase in one month?  Kinda shows what we, on the Southern border, are facing every day.

Contact the previous Administration's Customs and Border Department and ask them why they stopped that report.

The search will do you good.  Like your own link points out, June of 2019 was not a winning moment for the

Trump Admin.
