Jen Psaki Seems to Think White Evangelicals Are a Bunch of Uncultured Rednecks
By: Todd Starnes
The stereotyping of heartland flyover America and Americans by the bi coastal urban progressive elites seems to know no bounds. It’s just ridiculous what she did and said from the White House press room.
There were raised eyebrows in church houses across America when White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki described white evangelical Christians as a bunch of uncultured rednecks.
Psaki made the disparaging comments while explaining how the Biden administration was trying to encourage white evangelicals to take the China Virus vaccine.
“We’ve run PSAs on the ‘Deadliest Catch,’ we’re engaged with NASCAR and Country Music TV,” Psaki told reporters. “We’re looking for a range of ways to get directly connected to white conservative communities."
It sounds as if all Ms. Psaki knows about white conservatives was learned through former President Obama, Mrs. Bill Clinton and Peter Strzok, the disgraced FBI agent.
Not only are we a basket of smelly deplorables who shop at Walmart and cling to our guns and our religion, but apparently we are also a bunch of hayseeds who run around the cotton fields singing 'Cotton-Eye Joe.'
"We won’t always be the best messengers, but we are still trying to meet people where they are, but also empower local organizations," she added.
That’s like saying all black people watch “Good Times,” “Black-ish” and “Madea Goes to Jail.”
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said on the Todd Starnes Radio Show that he was really disappointed with Ms. Psaki.
“Why don’t they add ‘Green Acres’ in there or ‘Petticoat Junction’ or ‘The Beverly Hillbillies,’” Huckabee said, tongue-in-cheek.
Huckabee said he’s never seen such cluelessness coming from the White House press briefing room.
“Their idea that only white conservatives sit around watching the ‘Deadliest Catch’ and ‘CMT’ and NASCAR pretty well defines us as a limited cultural species,” Huckabee told Starnes.
Ironically, the Biden administration has gone out of its way to remind Americans not to stereotype or be judgmental.
“What is it when you take an entire group of Americans and you narrowly define them as a bunch of people who only eat at Cracker Barrel and Waffle House,” Huckabee wondered.
It would be like someone suggesting that Ms. Psaki, who was raised in Connecticut, is a woke liberal elitist whose idea of a good time is a poetry slam followed by a hearty kale salad at an organic farm-to-table restaurant.
Huckabee, by the way, was quick to point out that he has nothing against Cracker Barrel or Waffle House.
“Waffle House is my happy place,” he said. “So maybe I fit that bill, but I also know how to go to a dinner where there is a white table cloth. I’m not utterly as narrow as Jen Psaki thinks I must be.”
It’s a fair point the governor makes and one I will continue to ponder as I enjoy a plate of biscuits and gravy, washed down with a Mason jar full of sweet tea — while I watch 'The Andy Griffith Show.'

They aren't?
Yet another label like butter clingers, chumps, and deplorables to own and wear proudly as a badge of honor.
What's a butter clinger?
LOL!
Speaking of that voter ID issue, this is priceless.

Well Todd got that right. lol.
"Jen Psaki Seems To Think White Evangelicals Are A Bunch Of Uncultured Rednecks"
She 'seems to think' CORRECTLY!
The bottom line is that we don’t really care what she or those who agree with her thinks on any issue.
She and any who believe it are clinically insane
No one with any measure of Intelligence at all.
Those who think he who shall not be named won the last election is clinically insane .
I agree that those who think Biden fairly and honestly won the last election are as you say, clinically insane.
Only in the alternate bizarro conservative universe would something that is clearly factual be considered "insane". Perhaps they have some conclusive evidence of voter fraud that they're just hiding from everyone for no apparent reason. Either that or someone here is projecting.
Sadly it’s not just her that thinks these thoughts. It’s something she shares with the entire regime that she works for as well as big tech social and mainstream news media and their hate keeping hacks
Is this a comedy seed?
It’s the ludicrous stereotypes of Christians, conservatives, rural, and heartland Americans by the secular progressive bicoastal fascist elitist bigots in their ivory towers that is a form of dark comedy for us.
We do thank God for the contribution to society of the great author of the seed.

I don't think I've seen a better example of a straw man fallacy than this. Psaki never called anyone a redneck. She was asked and gave examples of ways the administration is trying to reach conservatives. That she didn't list your favorite is not calling anyone a redneck.
Conservatives sure are twisting themselves into pretzels to find something (ANYTHING) to be outraged about.
It's that white evangelical martyr thing. It's predictable and boring.
1) The majority of Evangelical left NASCAR in droves a long time ago; even more left when NASCAR became "woke". The federal government putting commercials and getting sponsors from NASCAR is a huge waste of taxpayer money; but it does pay them back for their "woke" status.
2) Evangelicals listen to country music? Who knew? I had better tell my two next door neighbors to stop blasting Christian Rock when they pull up the driveway; and change to country music. They are missing out on the Biden administration desperately trying to reach them.
3) The Deadlist catch? Really? Biden does know that it is on the Discovery Channel? Evangelicals are against discovering anything according to the left; so it is another titanic waste of taxpayer money.
Maybe they should actually hire a prominent Evangelical if they are trying to reach Evangelicals? Nah, that makes too much damn sense.
I stil like NAACAR. If they are woke it’s not to the same extent as other pro sports. I mostly follow college sports now.
I’m a fan of the three c’s when it comes to music. Christian, camlassical, and country. I like the old songs as well as k-love contemporary Christian, classical like William Tell Overture, 5th Dimension, 1812 overture, and country music. I like that some like Carrie Underwood mix religion into their country songs and sing Christian hymns as well.
That is the bottom line, isn’t it? They have too much contempt for us to do that. They want to bend us to their will without actually listening to a thing that we believe.
So ... is this the seed where I am supposed to disparage Brad Paisley for saying much the same thing? Toss in Dolly Parton as a booster shot?
