So the churches, evangelicals, and the "thumpers" should just get the 17 million and pay the terrorists off in violation of what the US government dictates? These are US citizens and whether or not you agree with their religious beliefs are entitled to the protections that our government provides. Of course with Biden in charge those protections are greatly diminished; close to non existent for US citizens overseas.

We were told that the Clintons supplied schools after the disastrous 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Oh, wait ... the walls of their donations were filled with mold; students and teachers became seriously ill.

they didn't vote for him, they're not going to vote for him. fuck them. isn't that the popular sentiment expressed by trumpsters here daily? biden didn't send these dumb asses there to indoctrinate these people. it's not the tax payers job to rescue every tom, dick, and thumper that affects their own ignorant gospel foreign policy on other cultures in other countries. haiti's not that far away, surely some of the brave bible/gun evangelical crusaders could grab their AR's and put together a flotilla and rescue party to go help god smite these voodoo heathens that are preventing his holy work being done on earth. who knows what could happen next? it could very well be the perfect jesusland.
Well maybe they should do something with it but nobody should pay this ransom. If this ransom is paid it will just cause more kidnappings and it will never end. I have a feeling some other deserving country is about to get an increase in missionaries.
I give money to my church in my tithe and offerings to provide low cost easy to construct churches, schools, hospitals, and homes suitable for an orphanage as well as to our organization that does trips exactly like this one to build these facilities in week long efforts all over the world exactly like this group and their project. I intend to participate in a mission trip like this after I retire if my health allows it.
If past actions of this administration are any indication, they're fucked.
The Biden Gang will pay the ransom, just like they're doing with the Taliban/alQaeda/ISIS.
He should be in the process of prepping SEALS, Rangers, and Marines in order to bring American citizens home.
He didn't in Afghanistan. Why would this be any different?
