Thinking he is above the law? This is what we are electing to congress. We can do better...
This 'should' end his career.

The Media Is The Message
By: Wheel • music videos • 9 comments • 2 years ago
Media is a funny word, funny concept too. The type of media does influence the message. Not going to get into newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, etc. This isn't about that kind of media. I thought we might try something different. We've done videos with smoking, animation, men's names, cover songs, and cheating songs. (I'm working up a new slant on the cheating songs thing, maybe I'll have...
OKAY: The POLICE TALk
By: CB • Friendly relations • 79 comments • 2 years ago
TODAY, as I departed from my local area Circle K convenience store, something quite interesting and unique occurred. Parked next to my car in the lot was a police SUV and coming around from the driver side was this camo-apparreled young officer who (actually) nodded to me first as he moved on by to enter the store.
This store, I have observed is a 'regular' for some of our police officers ....
Imbolc February 2nd
By: Veronica • Wiccan • 54 comments • 2 years ago
So for me Imbolc is the feats of warm hearty foods. I make a potato soup.
Old fashioned Irish Soda bread
I also make these things called Bannocks - which are scones.
I make mine with dried cranberries.
This feast day is a little less full of food than the others because it is the mid-winter feast and food was scarcer.
It is also the day we sweep out the negative energies....
Robots activate

In general television kinda sucks. I do find myself liking certain shows and it surprises me a little.
I really like the Battle Bots, have watched for several years.
I love watching them fight. How they are made, what they can do.
I just enjoy it overall. Would have been a cool hobby to get into.
Anyway, just seeing if there was another fan out there.
The Question the Cowards don't Want you to see..
By: Sean Treacy • Op-Ed • 97 comments • 2 years ago
As part of its ops campaign on behalf of the Democratic Party the mainstream media dragged up the misdeeds of the late Ashli Babbitt to smear her on the anniversary of her death. During the January 6th riot, the tiny, unarmed Ms. Babbitt was shot by a Capitol Police Officer who was not criminally charged for the shooting. Following media cues, the ghouls came out to celebrate her death,...

I'm sure that few of you, if any, are aware of the site called "Inspiringphilosophy" but I've always found it an impressive site. I don't necessarily agree with everything on it but I found this vid to be very interesting. Thought I would share it.
Yule - Come & Gone

"Here we come a-wassailing Among the leaves so green; Here we come a-wand’ring So fair to be seen.
Chorus: Love and joy come to you, And to you your wassail too; And God bless you and send you A Happy New Year And God send you a Happy New Year.
Our wassail cup is made Of the rosemary tree, And so is your beer Of the best barley. (Chorus)
We are not daily beggars That beg from door...

Tis the Season for Bashing Christian Celebration of Christmas
By: Nerm_L • Opinion • 909 comments • 3 years ago
Time for the holiday tradition of rehashing the history of the Christmas holiday. We'll hear how Christmas is really about pagan celebration of the winter solstice, Yule celebrations, Egyptian and Roman gods, and how modern celebration of the Christmas holiday has nothing to do with theology.
So, the underlying message is that secular society has appropriated the Christmas holiday. And the...
The Magical Thinking Underlying the Pro-Abortion Argument
By: Sean Treacy • Op-Ed • 175 comments • 3 years ago
The pro abortion argument fails on both logical and legal grounds. It’s a construct of smoke and mirrors designed to arrive at the desired result with platitudes and unexamined certainty while avoiding the unpleasant reality. Chanting slogans and avoiding the unpleasant reality is what the pro abortion movement is all about.
As Kevin Williamson wrote:
,"the pro-life position is easy to...
