If Trump is allowed to pardon himself, it would set a bad precedent for further presidents. It would mean that they would be above the law. Trump should not be allowed to do this. Then again Trump is so stupid that if they told him that he could not sign it until 22 Jan, he would wait. Then it would be ooops, you aren't POTUS now, so your pardon means nothing.
