The attack started with people being run over by a car.

Someone in uniform attacked.

And the perps didn't use a bomb, nor did they a gun-- rather it involved a knife...

The M.O. definitely brings to mind a prior terrorist attack in the U.K.-- does anyone remember the attack on Lee Rigby? (I think it was about 3 or 4 years ago)?

Yup, attack with auto and edged weapons. Gruesome and effective way of creating terror.

From what we know so far, this one is pretty shocking:

I haven't seen the picture but I do know the EU in general seem to have a policy of not labeling any terrorist as Muslim.

When we in the U.S. hear the word "Asian" we usually think of someone who is Chinese, Japanese,Viet-namese, Korean, etc.

But I have been following the development of terrorism for many years. Here's something I noticed long ago. Most of the media in Britain is often overly "politically correct". They go out of their way to avoid offending Muslims.

So when a person of the Muslim religion does anything wrong, rather than mentioning that they are Muslim, they refer to them as "Asian". Their intentions are good-- they want to avoid offending Muslims. Americans are confused by this-- but the Brits know what is meant.

Being married to an Asian, I resent the Brits attempt at euphamism when it comes to Muslim terrorists, by calling them "Asians".  As well there have been many articles instructing Islamic terrorists to use cars and knives to commit their crimes. I'm sure everyone on this site has seen enough examples of Islamic terrorists driving vehicles into crowds of people - think of the incident in Nice, for example.

Covering up and whitewashing the actual facts of acts of terrorism and savage behaviour on the part of Islamic terrorists throughout most of Europe and Scandanavia just encourages the bastards to keep committing their crimes.  Such fools those mortals be.

A little factoid I forgot about the Brits..

They refer to people from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh as "Asians"

In the  United Kingdom , the term "Asian" is more commonly associated with people of  South Asian  origin, particularly  Indians Pakistanis Bangladeshis  and  Sri Lankans . [3] [14]  The UK usage of the term "Asian" is reflected in the "ethnic group" section of  UK census forms , which treat  "Asian"  and  "Chinese"  as separate (see  British Asian ). [15]  Most respondents to the UK 2001 Census of non-Chinese East Asian and Southeast Asian descent chose to write-in their ethnicity in the "Other Ethnic Group" category rather than the "Other Asian" category, reflecting the association of the word Asian in the UK with South Asian. [16]  Despite there being a strong presence of  East Asians in the United Kingdom  there are considerably more  South Asians , for example the 2001 Census recorded 1.05 million people of Indian origin and 247,000 of Chinese origin in the UK. [17]   Peter J. Aspinall  of the Centre for Health Services Studies,  University of Kent , recommends privileging the term "South Asian" over the term "Asian", since the term "Asian" is a "contested term". [14]

This is so terrible.

Although there are more casualties, the M.O. is similar to the attack where Lee Rigby was butchered (No use of guns...no bomb...but also run over by a vehicle...then stabbed repeatedly).

Here is a video report from Al Jazeera : You can see a picture of the suspect at 2:50 . Apparently the perpetrators did use guns after they used a car for the initial attack ...

Perhaps the Brits' exaggerated PC required their media to refrain from using the word "guns" when in the hands of an "Asian" terrorist.
