Remember what Bugs Bunny used to say?
I don't remember that, maybe you've confused your cartoon characters.
Nope! What is your excuse? Glug Glug?
Excellent but irrelevant.
Glug Glug?
I remember him saying that all the time. I got up early on Saturday mornings in college so I could clean my room, do laundry but most of watch Bugs and Company
But of course. I am a HUGE Looney Tunes fan and have this cool book about them and a real cool collection of the cartoons themselves.
'What a Maroon!' is quite well known to just about everyone.
To everyone that was a student of the Famous Hare
if you say so...
Speaking of Bugs Bunny....

Yeah, he's a strange, privileged, egotistical, selfish dude but that doesn't change the fact that a sizable percent of the US population are willing, even eager to part with their money and the foundation of their nation for him.
Perhaps his ignorant/insolent behavior is a forbearance of America's ultimate destiny.
I sincerely hope not but that behavior is certainly true of his enablers/supporters/defendersoftheindefensible

What do you mean?
In their world everything that doesnt condemn Biden is a deflection. Trump has said over the course of years, easily the most stupid things an American president has ever uttered. He is given a complete pass by his brainwashed cultists.
One could say the cult has a blindspot.

Imagine if Joe Biden said "Tim Apple". You are an intelligent guy, you know what what your right wing compatriots would be saying.
Did they say it about Trump? Trump has said more stupid things than the previous 44 presidents put together. Why did that never alarm you?
I think I can explain all this. Actually I know I can explain it.
Trump has mangled names dozens if not hundreds of times. One could say he has done it so much that his blatant ignorance of how to refer to people in a consistently decent way is seen as "immaterial" .
Imagine if Joe Biden called Tim Cook "Tim Apple". It would be all over right wing media, all their shows and all their twitter and "truths" and everywhere else. It would be seen as more "proof" that Biden is senile. It would be for a relatively brief period, a "big deal" in the conservative media sphere. Undoubtedly some folks would hee haw about it here on Newstalkers.
When Trump does it , it doesnt get the same play, because, Trump has been saying stupid stuff like that for decades and the ridiculousness of his words is baked into the way he is perceived, with the result that we hear something like "thats just Trump being Trump" or "who cares, he owns the libs and thats all that matters". Trumps routine inability to make sense , pronounce names, remember names, or identify people properly is given a pass.
As we see in this article above, Trump routinely says a wide array of really stupid things, and because it happens so often the impact of any one piece of it is diluted into virtual nothingness. Biden is not given that luxury, because, well, more is expected of him.
If Biden looked into an eclipse of the sun without the proper eye gear the right would say he's too senile to know better. With Trump they (his MAGA lemmings) say he's too cool to care.
Again we see the failure of mainstream media to have pointed out , in a more serious way, how utterly strange of a human being Donald Trump is. And now , frankly, it is too late for that tactic.
he doesn't own me. He can't piss me off anymore. I know who and what he is and I have no more time to waste on him...except to make fun of him. I'll always make time for that
This kind of stupidity coming from Trump seems to be exactly what his MAGA base loves about him.
