Trump holds overall 6-point lead in battleground states: Poll

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Former President Trump holds a 6-point lead over President Biden in key battleground states that will likely determine the outcome of November’s election, according to a survey published Wednesday.

The Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll found Trump garnered 49 percent support in the swing states, over Biden’s 43 percent. The former president held the lead in six of seven states — Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Georgia and Arizona. Biden was ahead by 2 points in Michigan, the survey found.

In Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, the margins were also narrow. The poll showed the incumbent with a wider deficit in Nevada, North Carolina, Georgia and Arizona.

Respondents expressed concerns over the economy, the top voting issue in the upcoming cycle.

Only 18 percent said inflation is getting better, while more than half half — 55 percent — said it is getting worse, according to the poll. When looking at the employment rate, the outlook was only slightly better, with 23 percent of survey takers saying it is improving.

The largest portion of respondents, about 36 percent, said the employment rate is getting worse, while 32 percent said it is staying the same, the survey found.

Respondents have expressed the importance of abortion in this year’s election, an issue the Biden campaign has leaned on the trail.

More than half, 52 percent, also cited abortion as a “very important” issue to them when deciding who to vote for in November. Just under 25 percent said it was a “somewhat important” factor for their decision.

Respondents also said they trust Biden more than Trump when it comes to preserving federal programs such as Social Security and Medicare. Roughly 45 percent said they trust the president to preserve the programs over Trump’s 39 percent.

The Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll was conducted April 8-15 among 4,969 registered voters in seven swing states. It has a margin of error of 1 percentage point.

I wish they had asked how many are now voting for Trump simply because of this bogus New York trial.

It’s truly amazing that trump is now polling better than he ever has before. Biden is a uniquely terrible candidate

Nope, Democrats have that market cornered. They spend billions more and get all the benefit of a cheerleading media.  Biden is a real thing now and people have experienced his Presidency and that makes Trump look better in retrospect. Every time people go to the grocery store they like Trump a little more.

I think credit goes to the left for

1) Trying to prosecute Trump

2) Those leftist antisemites on campus.

Reminder for the left: When they persecuted Joan of Arc, things really changed once she was set on fire.

No, it is quite obvious that a Cult following, is stronger than Bidens', but i find these results questionable. I think before We reach November, Trump is going Down.

By settling for the lesser of two evils and pretending that it is a good choice. The parties have no incentive to run better candidates when they know they can hoodwink voters to voting for a shitty candidate like Trump or Biden.

.

: Fox said Trump can’t sit in a cold room for 8 hours. Are we talking about Donald Trump or an old English sheepdog? I thought they were claiming Trump was the young candidate. Now that he needs sympathy, he's a poor elderly man crippled by the weight of his own body against a chair
