One year later

One year later
Biden said Wednesday he does not support an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. “The answer is no,” he responded when questioned about the prospect of Israel launching a retaliatory strike on sites related to Iran’s nuclear program.

One year ago, Hamas launched one of the deadliest acts of terrorism in the history of middle east terrorism. The middle east is no longer what it was a year ago. No thanks to the US, but instead to the conviction of one man - PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Today a year after the terrible massacre of Israelis, Hamas is barely a shell of itself, Hezbollah has lost all of its top tier leaders and its communications. It can't launch a counterattack, and its weapons stockpiles are being destroyed. Iran has finally been held accountable and hopefully its nuclear weapons program will be destroyed.

The war is not over and has come at a terrible cost. There is a humanitarian crisis in Gaza and approximately 40,000 Palestinians, including both civilians and militants have been killed. Hamas is ultimately to blame for all of it, yet the liberal west prefers to blame Israel. The Biden administration can only talk about cease-fires and part of the reason for the excessive carnage has been Biden's pressure on Israel to not invade Rafah and the withholding of certain weapons for Israel. Biden will be remembered for telling the American people that the US was solidly with Israel yet saying something quite different to Israel privately.

That brings us to the stature of Benjamin Netanyahu, which has only grown because of his managing the crisis. Israel’s military campaign has exposed the limits of American influence and highlighted Netanyahu’s staying power. Israel's enemies won't be able to do what they did to Israel on Oct 7th last year and beyond that the question now is only how much weaker they will become.

In the news:

North Carolina residents frustrated with lack of help after Hurricane Helene are contradicting the Biden narrative about the relief process. To try and contradict the truth, the Biden administration is claiming that FEMA had two separate accounts, one for disaster relief and the other to help localities settle illegal migrants. How does that differ from those who say money was used to settle illegal migrants?

Hurricane Milton is expected to bring is expected to bring significant rain & wind conditions to Florida this week.

The Russian arms dealer who was traded in a prisoner swap for the U.S. basketball player Brittney Griner is now trying to sell arms to the Houthis, the WSJ reports.

Vice President Kamala Harris repeated the left's claim Sunday that a  woman in Georgia died  due to delayed care as a result of the state's abortion limits, despite doctors previously denouncing the narrative as false.

Harris echoes debunked claim about Georgia abortion limits causing woman's death despite pushback from doctors | Fox News

Good morning.

Kamala Harris will begin a series of friendly puff interviews. (The  View, Colbert and Howard Stern)

Last night on 60 Minutes she said "supporting" Israel was not the same as supporting Netanyahu.

Wasn't that something?

Did we learn anything there?

In contrast we got the most profound statement from the former First Lady in here rare one of a kind interview:

“They wanted to have somebody who was not in politics, politics all the time, and I saw it. I saw in him as well that he really wants to do at that time. He was talking for many, many years, but he really felt 2016 was the right time.”

“And I said, you know, this will not be very pleasant,” she recalled.

Why do we allow people to go after Trump's family members?

It takes a person blind in the brain to not see the PERFECT success of the Hamas psychological propaganda warfare taught to them by Iran, resulting in the masses of protesters and demonstrators supporting the declared terrorist Hamas and the declared terrorist Hezbollah while chanting "From the river to the sea" meaning destroying Israel.  The bleeding hearts around the world grow in number as the media revels in being able to broadcast how many Palestinians are being killed BUT NOT HOW MANY MILITANTS WERE AMONG THEM or WHY the civilians were killed - BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING USED AS HUMAN SHIELDS.  The UN Secretary-General refuses to provide a waiver of immunity for its UNRWA staff because Guterres KNOWS damn well they are guilty of complicity.  We hear Israel being called genocidal, but NOBODY is demanding that Hamas surrender, which would immediately end the bloodshed, free the hostages, allow the humanitarian aid to flow (except for the amount of it that Hamas has been hijacking and using for itself and selling the rest at exorbitant prices to the civilians, causing children to die of starvation), and start the rebuilding.

The fateful return:

Donald Trump was joined by Tesla CEO Elon Musk at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president survived an assassination attempt in July 2024.

One person who expected to be at Saturday's rally was a man who was sitting behind Trump when the former president was grazed by the bullet.

Chesher told CBS Pittsburgh he witnessed the attempted assassination.

"It's been a couple of months but I'm still processing what happened that day. The emotions are all over the place," Chesher said. "...We're forever connected to President Trump now."

A lot of MAGA dont believe in charity, even though they accept it.  Why dont all those megachurches and nutjob pastors take the money they are grifting off of their congregation and donate it to the people of North Carolina.

It is astounding that people who send their last dime to Trump will complain so bitterly about giving people who have nothing enough to feed and shelter them.

As if the stupidity couldn't be any more public:

Pittsburgh Dems slammed for ‘antisemitic’ statement blaming Israel for Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre

On the first anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre, Pittsburgh’s Jewish community   mourned the victims . Their politicians were busy mourning the Palestinians — and blaming Israel for the terrorist attack.

Rep. Summer Lee, Mayor Ed Gainey and Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato issued a   joint Twitter statement   saying they have “hearts big enough to grieve those killed one year ago and those massacred in the year since.”

“Our grief is compounded by the fact that it didn’t have to be this way,” they went on. “This violence did not start on October 7.”

This is a city that supposedly "pulled together" after the 2018 synagogue shooting that took 11 lives.
