Joe needs to know the difference between an NDA and an NCA.

NDA is non disclosure agreement meaning you can’t divulge confidential company things.
An NCA is a non compete agreement usually with a time frame stipulated that you can’t go to work for a competitor.
Thats  why the GOP side was loud.

Watch Live: 2023 State of the Union Address

President Biden slurs words,  'cuts' off the end of words, even uses the wrong word on occasion. Partially due to a lifetime issue of controlling stuttering and old age.  In this case, he got it right. Non-compete Agreement is what he meant to say and did say!

Governor Sanders is invoking her surgery, which explains the scar around her neck (God bless her to be well and heal well). It is a time for reflection on her part and she is attacking "woke" people and empty rhetoric which is only designed to divide. Okay, I hope her "rebuttal" falls flat in the hearts and minds of the citizenry.

And she wants to talk about 'crazy' and "authoritarianism" as she signs documents to end "Woke" and cancel the word, "LatinX."

Her. . . speech should go nowhere with the masses.

She literally is talking about her time in Trump's white house in her rebuttal and of course, she/Trump/Republicans make her 'overjoyed' while according to Sarah from Arkansas, liberals are the bane of the 'states.'

These conservatives never forget to try to instill 'patriotic' jingoisms in their public statements. It's so tiresome, because patriotism is an abstract state of existence, not something to be shunted away to one side or the other. It's sad that conservatives think they can 'live' patriotic lives and love this nation more than any liberal!

Let's try it another way and trust that we can put this one away:

1. Are you an economic conservative and a social liberal?  Or some other version of a libertarian. Be concise and clear please.

You can answer in layman's terms; keep it simple.

. Are you an economic conservative and a social liberal?  Or some other version of a libertarian.

Maybe but I personally don't like to define myself in a box like that.  Generally speaking with a very broad brush I do believe in fiscal responsibility and also believe in helping people that are in need.  Generally speaking with a very broad brush I also do not believe the government is very good at either one.  But the specifics really depend on the actual issue and not the overall way people like to define others.  So on a specific issue I will lean more with one side than the other and that changes by issue, not by ideology. And actually that could change by issue.  For example I don't believe in getting rid of AS-15s but I do believe in universal background checks and have no real issue with limiting mag size to 10.  So what does that make me?  I have no clue.  I also believe that global warming is a real issue but do not agree with the way the current administration is going about fixing it.  Again, what does that make me?

I doubt that really helps.

CB
Professor Principal
19.1.28  CB  replied to  Right Down the Center @19.1.27    last year

Actually it does. It aids in understanding you are not an 'ideologue' - a dangerous personage in both political parties. I can respect that. In addition, it explains that you lean conservative on economics and are 'confirming' a degree of care and concern for people ("In need"). That last, could mean different things to different people.

For example, (some) conservatives tend to follow a strict 'father' hierarchical worldview whereby they only seeking the best for those with whom they involve/associate themselves; but, treat others as outsiders, 'demonized,' and 'step-children' left to go along with conservative decision-making.

Whereas, liberals ("maternally") associate themselves with all people, non-discriminating against as many as possible, and places as many people as possible in their political/social inclusion schema.

Am I close? (Thank you for opening up a bit.)
