Herschel Walker speaks Donald Trump Save America rally

The Republican addressed criticism about his qualifications in running for office during his speech. 
PERRY, Ga. — University of Georgia Bulldog, Heisman Trophy winner, NFL star and now U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker made an appearance alongside former President Donald Trump on Saturday night to campaign at the 'Save America' rally in central Georgia.
"People always ask me what qualifies me to run for this office, and I said, 'Well you're right, I'm an American,'" Walker said.
The Wrightsville native told news outlets in April he was considering a 2022 run, but his candidacy wasn't official until it was listed on the Federal Election Commission's website last month.
"What qualifies me to run is because I love America and I'm going to fight for America and it's time for us to stop wondering what we're going to do and just do it," he said as the crowd erupted.
Walker continued, addressing inquiries of his current residency.
"Someone was telling me that I'm not from Georgia," Walker said.
Questions recently swirled recently due to the fact that the football legend has lived in the same house near Dallas, Texas, for the last 10 years and has declared it his "homestead" for tax purposes.
"It's funny because I said guys, I was Wrightsville born and I was Georgia bred and I'm going to die a Jesus Christ death," Walker said.
Trump later gave Walker a warm welcome on Saturday as well, calling the former NFL star a "special man" and "the great Herschel Walker" while endorsing Walker's Senate candidacy during his speech.
"Welcome a man who really knows how to win the United States of America. So proud of this man. One of the greatest athletes of our country's history. The greatest running back that I've ever seen," Trump said as he summoned Walker to the stage alongside him.
"Not only an American hero, he is an American legend born and raised in this state," he added.

I met Herschel in 1984 . My boss had several dealerships and lent demos to Phillies, Eagles, Stars, Flyers players and coaches in exchange for passes, tickets and access to the stars.
Chrysler credit could not keep track of the missing cars. After 6 months, Herschel returned a 4 door compact.
Bald tires, interior carpet ruined with burns and spilled "material", both front seat covers and back rests ruined from smoking pot, holes and burn marks everywhere. He somehow put 24,000 miles on the car.
I asked him about the missing inside rear view mirror. I could not tell you what he said.
I asked where the spare and the tools were. Using more sign language than words I gathered he had a flat, changed it and just left the ruined tire and wheel on the road side somewhere in New Jersey.
I watched his speech at the Trump rally, he has vastly improved his speaking ability.
I understand he has some decent businesses.
He still has no reason to run for Senate as far as I can see.
He moved to Georgia from Westlake TX in August and announced his intention to run for Senate.
Apparently Donald Trump was the only person aware of this and endorsed Walker quite publically
freezing the expected political jockeying in Georgia.
Walker has been involved in frequent 'domestic abuse' incidents and was once barred from owning firearms by an Irving TX judge.
Walker claims to have dissociative identity disorder and as many as 12 alternate identities, some good, some violent & bad.
His current spouse is under investigation for voting for Trump in 2020 in Georgia,
but she officially lived in Westlake TX.
I question the character of someone accused of domestic violence who claims multiple personalities as a defense.
That's a large hand full of trouble.
He also defaulted on a personally guaranteed $200,000 bank loan, and grossly inflated his assets for personal gain. Well hush my puppies if that business style doesn't sound familiar for some reason.

Well, what else could be expected in a country where being a wrestler, or an actor, or an astronaught, can qualify for a high official government position. America isn't exactly a Meritocracy.
Well, I would take issue with the astronauts who were all highly educated naval or air force officers and essentially
had extensive government experience. John Glenn, Mark Kelly J Swigert, none embarrassed us.
I wish I could say the same about the wrestlers, actors and reality stars.
I have to admit that I wrote 'astronaught' hesitatingly, but I had no problem with actors and athletes.
Ye old 'video boy' has struck again! I wanted everybody to listen to what I just heard. Hershel Walker is 'country' alright! And I'd imagine his accent just crept 'down home' som' mo for the Georgians he grew up nearby.

This is serious contention and competition. A 'hometown' hero vs. a faithful pastor all for the glory of God or the Artful Liar (Donald J. Trump). Shameful. I am starting to get over who in my list of "s/heroes" and outstanding people may want the Artful Liar to lead us in this world. They should be ashamed of Donald, but as you can tell they are not. Liars all of them.
Yes! Hershel Walker does not only associates with the Artful Liar, he is a self-deluded liar too! (This video makes it clear, he will say anything in an attempt to win.)
I'm relieved to know that the technology of football helmet padding has vastly improved since 1984.

The bizarre-ness you see is directly caused by the 'Artful Liar.' The republican party has allowed itself to be controlled by a public menace for purposes of political gain. Donald Trump is an old fart who perpetrating his dream of running the world like episodes of "The Celebrity Apprentice."
The bunch of fools in the some conservative movement are deliberately letting it happen; red state voters are purposely letting it happen; none of this weirdness is accidental. It is all part of a red-state twisted plot!
