China's President Promises 'Broken Heads and Bloodshed' to Challengers, Including America
In what seemed like a cruel twist of irony (but was likely an act of cold calculation), Xi levied his threats during a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the CCP near Tiananmen Square, the very same spot where thousands of innocent student protesters were slaughtered by the CCP’s death squads. With his threats, Xi was likely referring to the many countries that have levied sanctions against China over the past few years, including the United States.

The Chinese Communist party heads the evil empire of our time.  It is the worlds biggest threat to free market economies, the franchise, individual freedoms, religious liberty, and freedom of speech, assembly, and petition rights.  They intend to take over the world and rule it in their image.  The vast genocidal gulag that is communist China is also a huge threat and clear and present danger to all of its neighbors.  The seeded article describes the evil nature and the violent threat that is the Peoples Republic of China.

Concentration camps. Government surveillance. Secret police.

The Communist Party of China has all the trimmings of a modern-day totalitarian regime.

In addition, given the country’s growing economic and militaristic power, it can quite accurately be said that China is the greatest threat to liberty in the 21st century.

That was further exemplified on Thursday when Chinese President Xi Jinping lobbed threats of “broken heads and bloodshed” at the Communist administration’s foreign adversaries.

“The Chinese people will absolutely not allow any foreign force to bully, oppress or enslave us and anyone who attempts to do so will face broken heads and bloodshed in front of the iron Great Wall of the 1.4 billion Chinese people,” Xi said Thursday, according to The Associated Press. References to bashing heads and bloodshed were not included in the Chinese media’s English translations of the speech.

Unfair trade practices, theft of intellectual property, covering up the coronavirus outbreak and conclusive evidence of a government-led genocide have led to many such sanctions.

To back up his threats, Xi warned of his regime’s growing military strength.

Is the CCP a major threat to freedom?

“We will turn the people’s military into a world-class military, with even stronger capabilities and even more reliable means to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, security and development interests,” he said.

The threats then became more specific as Xi pledged his government would finish taking over the sovereign state of Taiwan.

“Solving the Taiwan question and realizing the complete reunification of the motherland are the unswerving historical tasks of the Chinese Communist Party and the common aspiration of all Chinese people,” he said, according to the New York Post.

“All sons and daughters of China, including compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, must work together and move forward in solidarity, resolutely smashing any ‘Taiwan independence’ plots.”

Unfortunately for the many victims of Chinese oppression, Democrats in the United States have failed to fight back against the CCP’s gross injustices.

Whereas Republicans and former President Donald Trump were firm in their opposition , Biden and the Democrat-controlled Congress have been anything but .

There’s only so much our country can do without risking all-out war. That being said, our leaders shouldn’t stand idly by while an oppressive dictatorship threatens our country with “bloodshed.”

All we can do is pray President Joe Biden grows a backbone.

“The Chinese people will absolutely not allow any foreign force to bully, oppress or enslave us and anyone who attempts to do so will face broken heads and bloodshed in front of the iron Great Wall of the 1.4 billion Chinese people,”

Would the American people allow any foreign force to bully, oppress or enslave them, and in the event that anyone attempts to do so would America stand by and let it happen?

“We will turn the people’s military into a world-class military, with even stronger capabilities and even more reliable means to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, security and development interests,”

Note that he said it was to "SAFEGUARD THE NATION'S SOVEREIGNTY, SECURITY AND DEVELOPMENT INTERESTS", i.e DEFEND, not to attack.

America would NOT want its military to be world-class in order to safeguard its sovereignty, security and development interests?

I thought that what was good for America was good for the world.

Short story...My Father's second wife had a son from a previous marriage. He was about ten I think. Fast forward...He and his wife are both full time teachers living in China. They have been there for about five years. They have two young children that are growing up with both cultures and languages.

I taught at a high school for my first six years here, followed by giving private lessons for another 6 years, and am now fully retired.  Are they happy with their life?  Where do they live?  The kids being fluent in both languages are bound to have many opportunities open to them.

Anoon buzz..I worked with a Chinese national and we had a ball...he had the most brilliant sense of humour and I was teaching him the Aussie way and slang and he brought in Chinese food. Heaven..

Asked why he came here etc as he was only 26 and far from home. He was a qualified engineer and was sent here by his parents to improve his English..his English was fine.

Anyway things went pear shaped he loved Australia and refused to go back to China and started the process to become an Aussie. His parents were very upset their only child not returning. He also met his future wife here and was composing love letters at work for her. He kept asking me about how to explain stars in her eyes and exploding rocket ships etc..my boss was wondering what the hell was going on.

Anyway Henry left and returned to Melbourne. The office was never the same after that. He is happily married with two kids.. Last I heard his parents were applying to migrate to Australia as well. They lived in Shanghai and said it was to crowded...

For the whole country they anounce anywhere from zero to 18 new cases each day but they're never anywhere near us, which isn't bad for 1.4 billion people.  Not been a case in our city-state Chongqing (about 32 million people) for about a year save a few months ago one or two imported csses, dealt with.  Everything is open and running normally - schools, theatres, shops, restaurants, but I still have to wear a mask and have my temp taken to be able to enter my bank,  They've been extra careful.   My wife was thinking of getting her first jab in a day or two.  Not so sure about myself. Just watched a fantastic show on TV, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Communist party here.

Yes some of the States are lifting restrictions at midnight.. Sydney is still in lock down but regional areas are now back to wearing face masks etc.

Same here not had a case in my town for a year...it is always in Melbourne they stuff it up.

I have been watching what went on overseas with vaccines etc and side effects...a few have died here from blood clots under the age of 50.., they have now been told to get pfizer vaccine..

I will be getting astra zeneca. Most people feel a bit crook the next day and arm a bit sore..some get headaches..but rather have that than end up in hospital etc.

You call but I would go for it..rather be safe than sorry..

Not only were WE careful to follow all the preventive guidelines, but in the 32 million population city-state in which I live pretty well EVERYONE did (without, as you probably think, being forced to do so), and there hasn't been a virus case here for about a year, save for one or two imported cases immediately dealt with.  I have no concern whatsoever for not having been vaccinated yet.  My best friend here is a front-line hospital doctor, and he would never lie to me about the facts.

We are all fallen people who have made mistakes.  We aren’t perfect.  Even the USA has made some mistakes along our way.  Some countries have certain types of government that are their mistake and will be as long as said government remains in power. Communist regimes have been and are still proof of such long term and in some cases ongoing mistakes.

TOKYO (AP) — Shares were mostly higher in Asia on Friday, though markets in Shanghai and Hong Kong declined a day after the Chinese Communist Party marked its centenary with tough talk by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

On Wall Street on Thursday, the benchmark S&P 500 touched a new record in anticipation of a positive U.S. jobs report, expected later Friday. Recent data have provided encouraging signs of a steady recovery from the pandemic.

Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 JP:NIK added 0.2% to 28,375.93. South Korea’s Kospi KR:180721 picked up nearly 0.2% to 3,283.93. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 AU:XJO gained 0.4% to 7,300.30. Shares also rose in India, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

But Hong Kong’s Hang Seng HK:HSI slipped 1.7% to 28,337.81, while the Shanghai Composite CN:SHCOMP lost 1.8% to 3,522.60. China’s CSI 300 index XX:000300 tumbled 2.6% to 5,092.31.

In a speech Thursday, Xi warned that anyone who tries to bully China “will face broken heads and bloodshed.”

Xi appeared to be hitting back at the U.S. and others that have criticized China’s trade and technology polices, military expansion and human rights record. The harsh rhetoric also appeared aimed at a domestic audience. But coming at a time of sharp tension with Washington, it struck an ominous tone.

Investors also anticipate a pullback in central bank support for markets in China, analysts said.

Fitch Solutions forecast in a report that Japan’s economy will start to recover as growing numbers of people are vaccinated for COVID-19. Japan’s vaccine rollout pace is about the same as the rest of Asia’s, with about 10% of the population fully vaccinated. That lags the U.S. and much of Europe.…
