Lushness of Wild Nature … A Spiritual Entity

One of my favorite place … a bit difficult to get to … and well worth the time and effort.

It smells as beautiful as it looks …

Such a natural, almost wild, setting.  Are there paths, or if not, is it difficult to walk through the underbrush?

No direct path to this spot … lots of exposed tree roots on the forest floor, low hanging tree branches and a big territorial black bear … and in the wider pools deeper in … native brook trout …

I know what you mean, sometimes all you have to do is find a nice quite spot just out of sight of the nearest building.

Totally beautiful, and very refreshing just to look at it. It looks similar to many of the areas of the Shenandoah Mountains and Valley that I visited while living in No Virginia. Their being the homeland of my Maternal Cherokee ancestors, I enjoyed walking through them and experiencing the gifts of Mother Earth.

Also known as mountain laurel. It grows all over the woods in PA.

Nice crick, Mac. Looks like it had a little flooding earlier

Glad we have a piece of common ground, ME. Politics aside, we can agree on the spiritual power of unspoiled NATURE.
