If Trump fails, we all lose
The political progressives in this country are secular humanists – and they have taken over one of the two major political parties in America. That's why I say it's better to have an "old school patriot" in the White House than someone who considers evangelicals and their friends to be "deplorables."

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

I made a comment on our daily radio program recently that Christians should be very thankful that Donald Trump was elected president of the United States and not Hillary Clinton. The Democratic Party of yesteryear, made of patriotic Americans who just had policy differences with the Republican Party, is gone forever. The Democrats have spent the past four decades or so evolving into a party that now works against almost everything our country was built upon. The Bible. The Constitution. The family. The free-enterprise system. I could give countless examples of this hostility but I don't have enough space here.

This is not to say the Republican Party has always defended these institutions. But generally speaking, it has. That is why the vast majority of Christians vote Republican. Before 1980, Christians voted for both Democrats and Republicans.

President Trump, while running in the GOP primary, reached out to the Christian community to try and better understand who we were and what we wanted to see in a presidential candidate. I know that for a fact. Initially I was skeptical of his sincerity. Some would say it was a political move, since he knew he could not win the GOP nomination if he did not have a significant percentage of the evangelical vote.

So perhaps it was a calculated move on Trump's part – but so what? Republicans and Democrats both pander to groups all the time. But today, Christians alone are not a large enough voting bloc to elect a presidential candidate by themselves. But Trump wanted to be our friend and he stood for a lot of the same things we stood for.

Yes, he was a flawed man who had a playboy reputation, and he had no real Christian testimony other than speaking fondly of his mother taking him to the Presbyterian Church when he was young. But still, he was not embarrassed to be seen with or stand with "the evangelicals," as he called us. (I joked with some of my friends during the campaign that Mr. Trump didn't know enough to understand that we conservative Christians are considered "unclean" by the elites. Serious presidential candidates are not supposed to be seen in public with us.) In hindsight, it was probably a blessing that Mr. Trump didn't get that and it was also a blessing that if he did – he didn't care. He was going with what he believed and he was going to listen to whoever wanted to join him.

One of the reasons President Trump has been taking unrelenting, incoming fire from the liberal elites – even before he was sworn in – is precisely because he is not ashamed of the Bible, the Constitution, the family and the free enterprise system.

Yes, I understand what I just said is open to mockery. It goes something like this: "So the president of the American Family Association supports a man who has been married three times and has lived a playboy lifestyle. What a joke."

I have to say, I did wrestle with these things. However, I did not believe him to be the same man he was in the past. I thought he was an "old school patriot" who saw what the progressives and the globalists were doing to our country and wanted to stop it. But in the end, it was Trump or Clinton who would take over the most powerful office in the free world. Did I want someone who wanted to be our friend ... or someone who considered us to be deplorable and who represented a political party bent on the destruction of our country (as we have known it) and the criminalization of Christianity? There was no third option.

I have been somewhat hesitant to state things in such a dramatic fashion. But I've been in this culture war every day since 1986. The political progressives in this country are secular humanists. They have taken over one of the two major political parties in America. They have open disdain and in some cases hatred for the God of the Bible, His morals, values and His people. This is becoming more apparent. The path they are going down will lead to the persecution of Christians. Even physical persecution.

Does President Trump always exhibit the fruits of the spirit? No. Are there Tweets he sends out from time to time that I wish he would not send? Yes. But you know what? The man is fighting these same people who want to destroy our country and who want to ruin our lives unless we bow the knee to Baal. And they are vicious and they are ruthless. And they, the God-haters, are after President Trump because in many respects – politically speaking – to them he represents us.

We need to pray for President Trump ... every day.

1.) Not all progressives are Secular Humanists.

2.) Not all liberals are progressives.

3.) Many liberals are Christians, just as the biblical Jesus was.

4.) How can Donald Trump possibly be a patriot when there is significant evidence that he was in collusion with the Russians and other foreign nationals? Did you just change your support of globalists?

5.)Donald Trump is an anathema to both the Bible and the US Constitution.

6.) Would you like me to get a ladder so you can climb down from the cross you have nailed yourself to?

Another bs article, but what else is new. Trump is far from a patriot, he has duped his base and it's so sad they can't see the forest through the trees.  He is a conman, a liar, and a cheat.

How he can be called a patriot when he has screwed over his fellow Americans over the years by not paying them for work they did for him, he just claims bankruptcy time and time again.

How can he be called a patriot when his organization hires ILLEGALS.

How can he be called a patriot when NO US banks will loan him any money and he has to turn to a foreign bank, Deutsche Bank to be exact.

How religious of him to cheat on his wife with a porn star.

How religious of him to tell Marla Maples to get an abortion when she was pregnant with Tiffany.

How religious of him to say he can just grab women by the pussy

If he is such a patriot why did he get multiple deferments to keep from serving in the military?

Did the evangelicals that support Trump forget that pride is one of the seven deadly sins?

Of the seven deadly sins, theologians and philosophers reserve a special place for pride. Lust, envy, anger, greed, gluttony and sloth are all bad, the sages say, but pride is the deadliest of all, the root of all evil, and the beginning of sin.

He has done no such thing for a majority of Americans. There is a minority who do feel that he's the best thing since their beloved choreographed wrestling. He's the Rick Flair of their political ideology, he speaks in grandiose rhetoric, is over the top when speaking about his personal qualities and anyone doubting his verbal fantasy is cast as the wresting villain. Lyin Ted! Low Energy Jeb! Crazy Joe! Crazy Mika! Crooked Hillary! Liddle Bob Corker! All of them are his villain names to get his base riled up and they love it. It doesn't have to have a lick of truth to it, but they rally around his constant bloviating because he makes them feel smart. He appeals to their lack of intellect with short rhetorical propaganda fantasy that they just can't seem to get enough of. Anyone with an education past high school can see through his gold painted sham and see him for what would be a hilarious clown reality TV show host, which is of course what he was. But now those of us who have to watch this daily farce play out in the oval office can only shake our heads and wonder how that section of America that voted for this sick joke could hate America so much as to wish this disaster upon us. Did we really leave them too far behind that they wanted to take revenge on us? Do they hate the gains made for equality so much that they would risk total meltdown just to reshape America in their bigoted Gods image?

Yep, I remember close to the same phrasing when it was Palin worshipping.

The opposition isn't unhinged, we're just watching the implosion unfold as Mueller gets closer.

Domestic or foreign he keeps getting his ass kicked. Whether he had anything to do with him or not, Putin now owns him. All Putin has to do is drop a bombshell lie out there and Trump is finished.

Xi owns him too. This Mr. Tariff man routine didn't scare the Chinese one bit. That lunch wasn't an "agreement". The Chinese told him exactly what they would do if he persisted. These "negotiations will continue to drag on past the deadline until he thinks it's forgotten.

Kim? Well....so much for the Nobel Peace Prize...lol.Remember we were finally "nuclear free"....more bullshit. He dropped his pants for "rocket man" and although to a lesser extent own him too.

Remember the EU picking up those soy beans? Yeah, neither do I.

And "domestically" Pelosi, a woman, beat the living shit out of him in public. TWICE.

He openly supports discriminating against LGBT people.  He is a bigot.

Wildmon’s remarks echo those of his American Family Association co-hort Bryan Fischer, who recently claimed that Christians should “ reclaim discrimination “ against the LGBT community.

“There are times when discrimination is the right thing to do,” Fischer, who compared the gay community to shoplifters , said at the time. “It is right to discriminate against people who engage in aberrant sexual behavior. We should discriminate against people like that.”

Secular progressives are all Gods?  I'd have to say that that's a rather odd concept....

Ba'al the God of Ancient Canaan256

This excavated bronze figurine of Baal reveals a haughty look, given to him by a Canaanite craftsmen.

Baal the Life Giver
Baal (ba'al) was an ancient Canaanite and Mesopotamian deity associated with agriculture. He was believed to be the "giver of life" and mankind was dependant upon him for providing what was necessary to sustain the farms, flocks and herds. He was also called the "son of Dagon" (who was in control of the grain), and "Hadad" the storm god who would provide plentiful rains after hearing his voice (thunder).

The Canaanites

The land of Canaan was devoted to the worship of Baal. The Semitic word Baal means "lord" or "master" and the Canaanites believed that Baal was in absolute control over nature and over people. They believed that the only god who was superior to Baal was his father El, but Baal was the principal deity of the land. It was he who was in charge of the rain and the weather, and man's survival was dependent upon Baal's provision.

I've never asked if the owners liked me or what their religious beliefs were before I placed my order or paid for my purchases. Emily Post never said that I was supposed to.

Maybe I should get a Happy Human broach so people know that they're dealing with a godless atheist when they see me.

A person's DNA does not determine their psychological gender identity. There are some people whose gender identity is incongruent with their physical bodies gender and their existence seems to be a problem for you because of your inability to understand basic concepts of human sexuality.

Hermaphroditism is Gaia's way of explaining to some of her slower children that whatever external plumbing one might have at birth, ( male, female, Both ), is NOT always the determining factor on how a person's personal gender identity evolves as they mature.

Just because some humans don't physical present at birth that they will be needing to chose which sexuality they fell is their proper roll in society, (like Hermaphrodites do), dosn't mean that they aren't faced with the same decisions as they mature.

People also ask

Do hermaphrodites have different chromosomes?
Hermaphroditism . If abnormalities of cell division occur, a fetus with mosaicism may result. The baby may have both cells with 46 XY chromosomes and cells with 46 XX chromosomes . This condition has been called hermaphroditism (after the greek god Hermes and goddes Aphrodite) and it is one of many causes of intersex.

Yes, it is normal for a small percentage of humans.

First we need to acknowledge that it’s hard to say exactly how frequent intersex is, because the sex spectrum is like the color spectrum; nature provides us with a range where one “type” blends imperceptibly into the next. For our linguistic and social convenience, we break that spectrum into categories. It makes it easier to talk about “that blue car” or “that man over there.” But nature doesn’t tell us that there are 7, or 10, or 100, or ten million colors, and nature doesn’t even know that there are two sexes. We humans, with our words and our cultures, decide how many categories to delineate. While the “male” and “female” types are relatively common, nature presents a full range of sex types, and people decide where the line should be drawn between “female” and “intersex” or “intersex” and “male.” That said, we do know that about 1 in 2,000 children is born with genitals that are pretty confusing to all the adults in the room. We know this from the statistics of how many newborn babies are referred to “gender identity teams” in major hospitals. But wait, you say, 1 in 2,000 sounds rare! Well, if only 1 in 2,000 persons is intersexed, then intersex is more common than cystic fibrosis, a condition most people have heard of. In fact, as Sherri Groveman pointed out in her article in Intersex in the Age of Ethics , if you do the math, you realize that there are more intersexed people in the world than there are Jewish people!

i guess you think that red hair and green eyes aren't normal for humans either ( it's abnormal ! so according to your earlier post - there must be something physically wrong with those people who have red hair and/or green eyes, right ? ), huh ? jrSmiley_78_smiley_image.gif

Was not always thought so by many cultures.  Being left-handed was thought to be a mark of the devil and great, often brutal, efforts were made to force left-handed children to use their right hands.  By the way, the latin word for "left" is  sinister.   I'd think even you would get a clue about something from that.  So just as people eventually learned the left-handedness was a variation of normal so to eventually it will be accepted (and science will show why it should be) that there are multiple variations of human sexual normalcy including homosexuality, transexuality, bisexuality, etc. etc. Maybe you could start with this as a primer:

Homosexual behavior in animals

[and don't try to dismiss it as "just" a Wikipedia article;  note considerable footnoting from the scientific literature supporting it]

Alarmingly, we have leaders like Mike Pence, Mike Huckabee and others openly advocating for basing US laws on the Bible. You can hear it in their arguments to overturn abortion and marriage equality, which are predicated not upon public policy concerns but upon the Bible. If you doubt me, just look at the words of Vice President Mike Pence, a man who told us that he's "a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order." (American didn't even make Pence's top three!)

If political movements are best understood through a single human life, then there is no better life to tell the story of Donald Trump's rise in America than the Mooch's.
From Long Island Newsday paperboy, with the largest route in Port Washington, to Master of the Universe, as Tom Wolfe characterized his kind in Bonfire of the Vanities, Anthony's life was the embodiment of the American Dream. By his own admission, however, he became so involved in his high-octane career and life that he forgot his working-class roots. He wasn't the only one to ignore the working class. There were neighborhoods like the one he grew up in throughout the country filled with deflated, unemployed, or underpaid people, ignored by elites and politicians-until Donald Trump came along.
It was only when Anthony joined the Donald Trump for President campaign as a surrogate and economic advisor that his eyes were opened to the plight of our country's middle class. It took a billionaire real estate developer who lived in a tower on Fifth Ave to show him what had happened to the neighborhood in which he'd grown up and communities like it throughout America. It was then that Anthony realized that Donald Trump and his economic policies were the best bet for our country's future.
A romp of a read, by turns hilarious, touching, and inspiring, Trump, the Blue-Collar President is sure to be among the best books written about the Trump presidency.

Review

"[Scaramucci] is always didactic but never bombastic, and he employs his self-deprecating sense of humor with remarkable effectiveness, especially in his new book,Trump, the Blue-Collar President. . . . It's as if you're sitting across from Scaramucci and he's talking to you. . . . The book gives an insightful look into [Trump's] popularity and success, because Scaramucci has a real understanding of how Trump thinks."―Newsmax

"There actually is more to [Scaramucci]-much more-than his brief tenure at the White House. His journey to millionaire hedge fund manager from humble roots as the son of a blue-collar sand hog from Long Island does make compelling reading."― New York Journal of Books

"This book goes a long way in explaining why Donald Trump is President of the Forgotten Men and Women in the country, and why he's our last, best hope! Anthony Scaramucci uses his own working-class roots to explain why Donald Trump is the working man's President, and how Mooch's own 'New York to the West Wing of the White House' journey embodies that American Dream. Learn the true secret of President Trump's success."
Sean Hannity

"The Mooch takes us on a great roller-coaster ride-from a working-class suburb, to sparkling Manhattan skyscrapers, to the deepest swamps of our nation's capital. Along the way, we watch an America lost but reenergized under Donald Trump. Insightful, inspiring, and hilarious. A must read. So ordered!"― Judge Jeanine Pirro, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Liars, Leakers, and Liberals

TRUMP! Trump! Trump!  USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 Build the wall!

Does your bible not contain these passages?

There are all kinds of arguments about the history of America that can be made in favor of refugees and immigrants having a place here. But today I address Christians. And for you, my dear Christian brothers and sisters, I implore you to hear the words of the book you so rightfully claim as the bedrock of the great nation of America. I am not arguing today about policy or politics. Today, I am arguing about human dignity, based on the Scriptures we hold so dear.

Yahweh, our God, said to Israel—the same nation, so many are quick to protect:

“You will not mistreat an alien, and you will not oppress him, because you were aliens in the land of Egypt” ( Exodus 22:21 LEB).

“And when an alien dwells with you in your land, you shall not oppress him. The alien who is dwelling with you shall be like a native among you, and you shall love him like yourself, because you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am Yahweh your God” ( Leviticus 19:33 –34 LEB).

From the beginning of Israel as a nation, there is recognition of the pain of oppression. There are laws made to protect the asylum seeker (the sojourner) and the immigrant. Justice demands justice for all—not just for a select few. We cannot say, “We shall love this person  this way , and  that person another way .” Furthermore, the very reason why Americans have the right to cast a vote is because we were once allowed into this country, or we were incorporated into it.

.

Pride is a sin that is so pervasive, runs so deep within us, that we often don’t even sense it is there. Not only is it a sinful drive in itself, it also plays a role in every other sin we commit. Pride is the sin we most share with Satan and the fallen angels. Satan refused to serve God or to submit to His plan; these are strong tendencies in every human person as well. Satan planned his strategy well as he tempted Eve. You will be like God, he told her. Both Eve and Adam falsely reasoned that in order to be free they should not be told what to do; they should do as they pleased. They claimed the right to determine good and evil for themselves rather than trusting God. This prideful pronouncement has gone forth from human hearts ever since: “I will not be told what to do.”

I see America as the great winner in the world due to the Trump administration and policies.

I can see us losing and trump walking away a winner.

Well, you almost had this right. "I can see us losing and, trump walking away a wiener."

Trump (The Emperor) wears no clothes. With nearly every tax return filed by someone in the middle class this year, Trump's (and the GOP) approval numbers will continue to fall. Less than 6% of profits corporations got were spent on employees last year and most of these were 401K donation and one time bonuses. Most of those $1000.00 401K donations have lost a over $200.00 of worth. Walmart and AT&T,  that conservatives were praising last year's bonus giving, fired thousands of workers at the same time it was giving out those bonuses. It's projected to be even less spending this year even as those same corporations make the same profit gains. Tariffs and the continued low spending power of the middle class will begin to slow the economy and it will be Trump's fault.

There will be no wall, no denuclearization of the North Korea, no meaningful wage increases, no lower cost health care, no stop to the "wars" in the Middle East. If the GOP can't stop him from his little "emergency" he will try to steal military spending from the Pentagon and expand the powers of the Presidency that I'm sure conservatives will continue to support when a Dem gets elected.

Well with the rising again of our middle class as described in USA Today today, Trump will not fail.

You should have read the entire paragraph,

Yet analysts say America’s middle class will soon resume its long-term decline, largely as a result of automation and the continued offshoring of factory jobs, unless policymakers take dramatic steps to alter that course.  The trend, left to its own devices, is going to get worse,” says Richard Reeves, director of the Future of the Middle Class Initiative at the Brookings Institution. “A growing, prosperous, confident middle class is no longer going to happen automatically.”

...The vibrant economy, juiced further by the Trump-led tax cuts and federal spending increases, has lifted employment and wages for workers at all levels, including the middle class."

Shocking news to anyone who gets their news from the mainstream press. But the story goes on to note that:

  • "Median U.S. household income … rose 1.8% to an all-time high of $61,372 in 2017."
  • "Employers added an average 223,000 jobs a month last year, up from 179,000 in 2017. And unemployment sank to a near 50-year low."
  • "Average U.S. wages climbed 3.3% in 2018, after being stuck at 2.5% to 2.7% (growth) for several years."
  • "Industries that employ middle-class workers in particular are benefiting. Manufacturers have added about 450,000 jobs since Trump took office, the largest two-year total in decades."
  • "The number of factory jobs 'reshored,' or shifted to the U.S. from overseas … hit a record 170,00 in 2017." (Emphases added.)

To be sure, USA Today only mentions these gains so it can then paint a dark picture for the middle class on the horizon. Nevertheless, the fact that the paper was willing to admit to a middle-class revival under Trump is in itself newsworthy.

This isn't a surprise to regular readers of these pages. We thoroughly documented the middle-class stagnation during the Obama years, as his policies choked off what should have been a powerful economic recovery.

Shouldn't Be A Surprise

For the past two years, we've been tracking the sudden and unexpected rebound that's occurred once Trump started to undo and reverse those Obama-era anti-growth policies.

Last week, in fact, we pointed out that our own polling shows a sharp increase in the public's estimation of their own quality of life under Trump.

It's a safe bet that had a Democrat been in the White House over the past two years things would be different. Front pages would cheer the good news. Broadcasters would lead with it each night.

Then again, there wouldn't be any middle-class revival if a Democrat had been in the White House over the past two years....https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/middle-class-revival-trump/
