The world is drifting steadily toward a climate catastrophe. For many of us, that’s been clear for a few years or maybe a decade or even a few decades.
But others have known that a reckoning was coming for much longer. A Swedish scientist first calculated in 1896 that adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere could lead to warmer global temperatures. By the 1930s, scientists were measuring the increase, and in the late 1960s, they had documented the impact of melting ice in Antarctica. By 1977, Exxon-Mobil had recognized its own role in the warming of the ocean, the polar ice melt and the rising sea level.

I don't have to. Been fighting against these lies and half truths a long time.
Climate change is happening..... All the branches of the US military are studying it's effects and have been for quite some time now.
The Navy is especially interested in it due to the effects that lower salinity and higher water temperatures have on sound propagation. Research papers presented to the Commander for Undersea Warfare (CUSW) in 2016 were already indicating a reduction (attenuation) in sound propagation in the North Atlantic. This directly impacts our ability to locate and track the submarines of other countries. The impact on mine warfare has similar issues.
Also keep in mind that about half of the United States population live in coastal areas. Climate change will force a migration towards Canada, so we may as well annex it now while there isn't a wall.

True.... the climate has always changed to some degree, but do we have to be helping it so much towards our detriment?
Hell..... Ma Nature is going to take us all out sooner or later anyway, and we're going to help her do it.
It's changed waaaay more than "Some Degree" over the life of this planet. Entire species have been wiped out, before Man even existed, because of "Changes".
Even if we get rid of everything we've ever known as to power supplied convenience, go back to when only Animals helped do the work, the Climate is still gonna change and species are still going to go extinct.
