Denver Democrat faces backlash after tweeting ‘solidarity’ for spreading coronavirus at Trump rallies
“The depths to which Democrats are sinking to politicize coronavirus is disgusting," Republican National Committee Rapid Response Director Steve Guest said in a statement to Fox News on Tuesday. "Democrat leaders, both nationally and in Colorado, need to condemn this deranged comment.”

This is so typical on the far left of the other party.  TDS is strong there and their contempt for us who support Trump is so strong that some would advocate and or support the advocacy of acts such as this what this article is about.

Democratic Denver City Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca faced conservative criticism Tuesday after sharing a meme on Twitter suggesting she stands in “solidarity” with the idea of spreading  coronavirus  at President Trump’s campaign rallies.

"These people are sick," Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.  CdeBaca, apparently posting in jest, had retweeted a meme that said: “For the record, if I do get the  coronavirus  I’m attending every MAGA rally I can.”

CdeBaca commented: “#solidarity Yaaaas!!” with laughing emojis.  CdeBaca, based on her Twitter posts, appears to be a supporter of self-described democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., one of the leading candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Candi CdeBaca, Denver City Councilwoman, shared a meme suggesting those infected with coronavirus should attend "MAGA" rallies.

Republicans quickly hit back, coming amid a partisan war of words over allegations that lawmakers are politicizing the response to the coronavirus.

“This elected Democrat in Colorado doesn’t seem very nice!” the Trump campaign War Room Twitter account posted in response.

Later, CdeBaca's office called it a "sarcastic tweet," in a statement to a  Denver ABC affiliate.

The back and forth comes as the federal government grapples with the outbreak. Trump, over the weekend, authorized new travel restrictions and warnings in response to the coronavirus outbreak. The administration’s strict travel warning affects Iran, Italy and South Korea at this point.

The virus has sickened 89,000 people across 66 countries, resulting in at least 3,061 deaths, including six in the U.S. Most of the deaths have occurred in mainland China.

Trump, on Monday, was asked whether it was “safe” for him to continue to hold his campaign-style rallies as the country battles the virus.

“You should ask the Democrats,” Trump said. “They’re all having rallies. They’re campaigning.”

He added: “I think it’s very safe.”

This article is stupid and pointless.  The virus is real and will spread at gatherings of people if some people in attendance are infected.  Many can have the virus and be without symptoms.

This is not a news article.  It is a yet another in a long string of meaningless diatribes to divide the people and create a misunderstanding of anything relevant.

This thing is from a FOX News website.  Yeah well, they sold us the Iraq War too.  And a whole bunch of BS since then.  At least their anchors make far more than the 'industry standard' so I guess that means something, right?

So the woman who twittered the offensive like and the one who originally tweeted on the subject should just be allowed to get away with what they did because exposing their divisive rhetoric to the general public might divide us?  Is that really what you are getting at?

You don't give a shit about Trump's rhetoric and the nasty things he's retweeted.

Stop pretending you give a shit about ethics and common decency, because you've proven otherwise, over and over.

Hypocrisy offends me. If you truly thought retweeting this kind of bullshit was a bad thing, you wouldn't idolize Trump. He does it all the time - something that nobody with any morals or common decency should support. But you defend him constantly while pretending that in this case it's wrong - because you seem to think only liberals should be expected to be ethical and have morals.

The article is clearly and obviously about something, something some did that was very bad, and yet many want to make the article exposing the behavior the issue rather than the bad behavior of the democrat.

A couple of points, if I may...

1. This lady was making a joke.  Perhaps it was in poor taste, but it was a joke nonetheless.

2.  Donald Trump has deliberately and consistently downplayed not only the global implications of the Coronavirus, he has also belittled the concerns expressed by this nation's medical community and the public in general.  Only when the patient count and death toll started rising did he show more of an interest.  It reminded me a little bit of this scene from Erin Brockovich:

On a side note, you are well-aware that Vic seeded this same article and was advised to delete it.  So that makes this:   I didn’t see it in the recent articles below before I seeded this article from today’s Fox News website ...rather disingenuous. Whatever twirls your tassels, I guess.

Kind of like this reaction...............6 months after the first outbreak? From September 2014.

The timing of the U.S. response, months after the outbreak started and well after it raged across West Africa, puts pressure on the administration to act on its pledge as soon as possible, experts warned. Most cases of Ebola are in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, where the outbreak was first reported in March . As of Saturday, nearly 5,000 Ebola cases were reported in the region, although many had not yet been confirmed through laboratory testing, the World Health Organization said Tuesday.

Damned Trump.....................oh, wait..........................

Didn't the Trump Administration lean on Japan and the Princess cruises to release 43 Americans, fly them all "home" to Travis AFB without issuing protective gear to the HHS people or the flight crew then onward to Nebraska where 18 tested positive for coronavirus?

Why, yes, yes they did.

As far as the Obama Administration "allowing" an apparently healthy guy to return to the states, i guess it is a partisan issue to partisans...

Duncan told a nurse he’d recently traveled from Africa but this information wasn’t effectively communicated to the rest of the medical team, who after a matter of hours sent him home with antibiotics. On September 28, Duncan, his health deteriorating, returned to the hospital by ambulance.

Actually I wasn’t aware as I still work for a living and have a three hour time difference for waking up and was not viewing here when that might have happened.  Why would anyone have recommended a news article be taken down?

Well, that's because he thinks it makes him look bad, and that bruises his massive ego. It's not as though he really gives a shit how many people die, as long as he gets reelected. He's ruined enough people's lives without caring, and even brags about making their lives miserable.
