I saw this one a while back, but I don't think I saw the part where she was being arrested. And I'm not sure what her being Jewish has to do with her going ape shit in Target. Maybe she had pharmaceuticals on board in both videos?
In addition, and I hate myself for saying this, but I would love to know what has happened to her since her arrest.
She is one of those people that IF she made it to the Pearly Gates, she would insist on being seated at the right hand of God himself. If not......I wonder if she would throw God on the floor and throw a fit.
She has to be one of the worst spokesperson's out there ...........and probably exactly why she was available, as she claimed in her rant, to be a spokesperson for the WH.
I actually don't see how "No mask, no service" is any different from "No shoes, no shirt, no service." I don't understand the fits people are throwing over this. My EX sister in law tried telling me that "everyone just needs to catch it and we'll be done with it." I then reminded her that her father and likely her mother would DIE if they caught it as well as many in my family and I don't want to be responsible for the deaths of those that I love. Bad part is... she's an anesthesiologist in the cardio-vascular field.
I can't understand how some think with Co-Vid that herd immunity is a good thing. It's NOT. That puts millions at risk, babies, children, the elderly, anyone with co-morbidities.
I think it’s difficult for people to relate to her actions because they lack a thorough understanding of how bipolar affects the thoughts of the person suffering from the condition. They have a harder time than those of us that are not suffering from chemical imbalances in the brain. I received a late night call from a good friend that has bipolar notifying me he was considering suicide. I was able to convince him to seek treatment and he did but it is a lifelong battle with no cure at this time.
Bipolar is the root cause of her problem. If not for the bipolar she probably would have acted differently. She was hospitalized for over a week after this manic episode.
No Dean. In my case, I completely understand bipolar disorder and how it affects the thoughts of the person suffering. That's the only part that I understand in her action / reaction in this specific instance. However, I have also seen people NOT suffering from bipolar disorder act like this too.
My best friend is bipolar and I've helped her with her thoughts and her family with her episodes many times before. My stepbrother is bipolar and I'm the only one that seems to be able to get through to him sometimes. I know and understand the disease the best I can as someone that is NOT bipolar myself. I've even said to my best friend, "I understand that your brain is telling you that what you're doing and saying is rational right now, but let me ask you a few questions..." I then proceed to ask her a series of questions based on her actions and thoughts at that moment and allow her to answer and try and reason it. She's on the right combination of medications and seeing the right psychiatrist now; therefore, hasn't had any drastic episodes in a very long time. I'm so very happy that she's feeling well now. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know... she just has an unseen and misunderstood chemical imbalance.
Dean is totally hijacking this thread and changing the topic to mental illness. He should post his own thread if he wants to talk about mental illness. Then we can address all those who may not have the privileges and options that this woman clearly has with access to care when most are thrown in jail with no consideration of their mental health issues.
Melissa Rein Lively's spiral in an Arizona Target was caught on video for all to see. She recorded herself destroying a mask display in early July – something she now says she regrets and is in treatment for mental illness.
In an exclusive interview with USA TODAY, Rein Lively, the CEO and founder of a public relations firm, said she lost all of her clients and her husband filed for divorce after the videos of her expletive-filled rants went viral.
"I think mental illness has been really something that has not been addressed as a result of this pandemic," she said. "Because what happened to me was scary and it changed my life forever. I felt I had absolutely no control over my actions."
After her manic meltdown in the store, Rein Lively said she was taken for a psychiatric evaluation after her husband called police from their home. She said she stayed in a mental health facility for over a week.
Logical conclusion of Trump activism.
This woman needs some meds... a little too over the top... was it real?
Was hoping the cop would pull his taser.
Never ceases to amaze me the lengths people will go to just to avoid wearing a mask. Excuses, fake medical problems, religious reasons.
And why?
Because their messiah trump mocked masks.
That's it.
And then the Raiders beat the Chiefs so there is no justice in the world!
Fact CJ.....
At least your team got to play. Mine doesn't because the other team won't play by the rules.
All her life? What is she like two years old? CV was not around when she was growing up. I love her pulling the Jewish race card.
I saw this one a while back, but I don't think I saw the part where she was being arrested. And I'm not sure what her being Jewish has to do with her going ape shit in Target. Maybe she had pharmaceuticals on board in both videos?

She spent a week in the funny farm. She’s bipolar.
"If God wanted me to wear a mask, I would have been born with one!!!"
So..........why are you wearing clothing?
She is one of those people that IF she made it to the Pearly Gates, she would insist on being seated at the right hand of God himself. If not......I wonder if she would throw God on the floor and throw a fit.
Or maybe she would tell God She's sitting in her seat
That would be a possibility for sure. After all, it's all about them, no one else matters.
Karen in this case is a shorthand for a type of person. Right or wrong it cannot be put back in the bottle.
Here's a couple of cop haters, most likely liberals.
Deflection. What does this have to do with assholes refusing to wear a mask and trashing the store?
Look at this Karen who refuses to wear a mask even though she has one. Then having a hissy fit.

Used to play football. Funny how we try to kill each other and then become best friends.
Here is Stephen Colberts' humorous take on several Karens.
What do you call the guys who are total assholes, Dick?
Ken
I think Dick is more appropriate.
Masks need to be mandatory everywhere and people need to be fined. The assholes who threaten with a gun need to be locked up.
Stupid bitch....shut up and wear a mask when out in public....I lay this at the feet of Orange conman and the republicans.
She has to be one of the worst spokesperson's out there ...........and probably exactly why she was available, as she claimed in her rant, to be a spokesperson for the WH.
It’s time we stop stigmatizing mental illness.
We're not stigmatizing mental illness unless trumpism is a mental illness.
What does being bipolar have to do with not wearing a mask?
What has mental illness have to do with my comment? Unless you're claiming any WH spokesperson must be mentally ill?

Something we actually agree on 100%.
But masks have not been proven to be very effective.
Greg,
You are kidding right? Doctors are saying quite the opposite. Both mask-wearing by everyone and social distancing is how we keep the virus at bay.
Not only doctors Perrie, but both Kansas and Arizona have statistical data that support the drop in infections based upon improve mask usage.
SKansas and Arizona have statistical data that support the drop in infections based upon improve mask usage''.
Do you have that data?
"SKansas and Arizona have statistical data that support the drop in infections based upon improve mask usage''.
"Do you have that data?"
Here is Arizona.
I'm sure you'll dispute it though.
Coronavirus Cases In Arizona Dropped 75% After Mask Orders Began, CDC Reports
Ha. That was great.
I used this on my brothers. I still don't think they got it

These Karens not wearing a mask has nothing to do with being bipolar. NOTHING.
Bipolar is the root cause of her problem. If not for the bipolar she probably would have acted differently. She was hospitalized for over a week after this manic episode.
My son has a friend who has bipolar. It is a daily battle that many don’t understand.

In most instances regarding masks, you're right.
Her being bipolar has nothing to do with it, NOTHING.
Her being bipolar has nothing to do with her not wearing a mask, NOTHING.
Hummm. Where in my comment did I say it did?
So a snowflake is triggered by masks????

You are right. I will ask that any future off topic comments be deleted.
Isn’t the topic this woman’s manic episode in target? That is the content of the video you posted.
The topic is someone who is against masks going on a tantrum and throwing dozens of them on the floor of the store, and then being arrested.
You dont have to be bipolar to do that, as many other videos have shown.
This article can help bring you up to speed.

Again, her being cuckoo for cocoa puffs has nothing to do with her not wearing a mask.
Agreed. It just so happens that in this particular instance, the woman doing the illegal tantrum is bipolar. I think that was his main point.
Even though I commented on the bipolar part, I purposely put in that there are plenty of people throwing tantrums about masks that are NOT bipolar.
I would hate to run across someone who works in a medical facility with thoughts such as those.
An update from Melissa.
Medical marijuana overdose?
bi polar? nervous brake down?
"it is what it is?"
OK Melissa, good luck...
Yeah when they are manic they can experience psychosis.
Who cares?
I found this article she wrote back in March. It is very interesting and contradicts some of the assumptions being thrown around here.
This one is not about masks, just people that are going crazy.
This is not the whole vid that I saw but it shows a happy ending.
The woman would not let a man get to his car, was acting nuts and even had to bring up race.
The world is going insane...
That's an understatement.
OMG. I'm so glad that man adopted that puppy!!! That made me cry.
The first longer vid I watched was worse. The poor pup yelping in pain was heartbreaking.
You could see it curl up around his legs. It wanted to get away from that woman. I was glad to see the update.
I wouldn't be able to handle more.
