Never ceases to amaze me the lengths people will go to just to avoid wearing a mask. Excuses, fake medical problems, religious reasons.

And why?

Because their messiah trump mocked masks.

That's it.

All her life?  What is she like two years old?  CV was not around when she was growing up.  I love her pulling the Jewish race card.

I saw this one a while back, but I don't think I saw the part where she was being arrested.  And I'm not sure what her being Jewish has to do with her going ape shit in Target.  Maybe she had pharmaceuticals on board in both videos?

In addition, and I hate myself for saying this, but I would love to know what has happened to her since her arrest.

I actually don't see how "No mask, no service" is any different from "No shoes, no shirt, no service." I don't understand the fits people are throwing over this. My EX sister in law tried telling me that "everyone just needs to catch it and we'll be done with it." I then reminded her that her father and likely her mother would DIE if they caught it as well as many in my family and I don't want to be responsible for the deaths of those that I love. Bad part is... she's an anesthesiologist in the cardio-vascular field.

I think it’s difficult for people to relate to her actions because they lack a thorough understanding of how bipolar affects the thoughts of the person suffering from the condition. They have a harder time than those of us that are not suffering from chemical imbalances in the brain. I received a late night call from a good friend that has bipolar notifying me he was considering suicide. I was able to convince him to seek treatment and he did but it is a lifelong battle with no cure at this time.

No Dean. In my case, I completely understand bipolar disorder and how it affects the thoughts of the person suffering. That's the only part that I understand in her action / reaction in this specific instance. However, I have also seen people NOT suffering from bipolar disorder act like this too.

My best friend is bipolar and I've helped her with her thoughts and her family with her episodes many times before. My stepbrother is bipolar and I'm the only one that seems to be able to get through to him sometimes. I know and understand the disease the best I can as someone that is NOT bipolar myself. I've even said to my best friend, "I understand that your brain is telling you that what you're doing and saying is rational right now, but let me ask you a few questions..." I then proceed to ask her a series of questions based on her actions and thoughts at that moment and allow her to answer and try and reason it. She's on the right combination of medications and seeing the right psychiatrist now; therefore, hasn't had any drastic episodes in a very long time. I'm so very happy that she's feeling well now. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know... she just has an unseen and misunderstood chemical imbalance.

Dean is totally hijacking this thread and changing the topic to mental illness.  He should post his own thread if he wants to talk about mental illness.  Then we can address all those who may not have the privileges and options that this woman clearly has with access to care when most are thrown in jail with no consideration of their mental health issues.

This article can help bring you up to speed.

Melissa Rein Lively's spiral in an Arizona Target was caught on video for all to see. She recorded herself destroying a mask display  in early July – something she now says she regrets and is in treatment for mental illness.

In an exclusive interview with USA TODAY, Rein Lively, the CEO and founder of a public relations firm, said she lost all of her clients and her husband filed for divorce after the videos of her expletive-filled rants went viral.

"I think mental illness has been really something that has not been addressed as a result of this pandemic," she said. "Because what happened to me was scary and it changed my life forever. I felt I had absolutely no control over my actions."

After her manic meltdown in the store, Rein Lively said she was taken for a psychiatric evaluation after her husband called police from their home. She said she stayed in a mental health facility for over a week.

Agreed. It just so happens that in this particular instance, the woman doing the illegal tantrum is bipolar. I think that was his main point.

Even though I commented on the bipolar part, I purposely put in that there are plenty of people throwing tantrums about masks that are NOT bipolar.
