Putin plots, Zelensky leaks as Biden dithers
“I think what you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades, and it depends on what it does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not to do,” Biden said.

As Vladimir Putin waits for his forces to take up their positions and China to have it's Olympic games, CNN reported that their beloved Joe Biden told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday to brace his country for a certain Russian invasion. Biden supposedly told Zelensky that an invasion is virtually certain and to 'prepare for impact.' He said Kiev could be 'sacked' by Russian forces. He also reportedly said Ukraine would not be getting significantly more military help, including reiterating that no U.S. troops would be deployed there, nor would there be preemptive sanctions on Russia or any progress with NATO. A Ukrainian official told CNN that the call between the two leaders 'did not go well.'

The Week:

The Breyer retirement : This week Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement, which some might say was perfectly timed. It should give Biden and the democrats enough time to nominate and approve a candidate before the democrats get booted out of congress in the midterms. The only question is will the Biden nominee be a liberal in the mold of Breyer or a far left activist? Senator Mazie Hirono may have spilled the beans: Sen. Hirono: I want a justice "who will consider the impact, the effects of whatever decision-making is on people in our country so that they are not making decisions just based on — which I would like them to base it on law, which would be nice and precedent."

Jen Psaki just reaffirmed that the President will only consider a black woman for the next nomination -- a threshold gender and race condition that the Court itself has found unconstitutional for schools and unlawful for private businesses.

I can visualize the late Norm Macdonald reporting on the retirement on the old Weekend Update. It might go something like this: "Justice Stephen Breyer, who is still sharp as a tack announced his retirement today, while the always confused Joe Biden says he will stay on and run again!"

Fallen officers: Today NYC held funeral services for one of their finest.

"NYPD Police Officer Jason Rivera is getting a hero’s farewell at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Thousands watched as the slain young cop’s body arrived Thursday at the historic Manhattan church in a police motorcade for his wake, ahead of Friday’s funeral service. A phalanx of New York’s Finest stood at attention in dress uniforms, as eight pallbearers carried Rivera’s casket up the steps and bagpipers pierced the silence with a moving rendition of “Amazing Grace. Church bells tolled as a second motorcade arrived with Rivera’s grieving family for a private viewing before the doors opened to the public.Inside, the body of the 22-year-old cop lay at the foot of the altar  with his photo alongside an NYPD flag made of flowers."

Police officers continue to be the victims of a violent trend, as six officers were the victims of gun violence over just the past two days

The American left with it's radical DA's, demonizing & demasculinizing of the police, bail reform and defunding of the police is directly responsible.

Leaked videos of a mass release of migrants:   This was also the week that the Biden administration was once again caught releasing unvetted & unvaxxed migrants into various communities within the US.

Minnie Mouse got ungendered this week. A much more masculine look.

We saw Canada's Freedom Convoy gaining international attention. Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, political figures, all voicing support.

We saw an anti-vaccine protest in DC.

We saw Dr Fauci for the very first time counter president Biden. His NIAID undercuts the boss by challenging school mask mandates

Here we heard the usual partisan support for the failing Biden and the lying Dr Fauci complete with name-calling and hyperbole. We have seen personal attacks of all kinds, this past week, most of which were thinly veiled charges of racism. Worst of all, we continue to see an awful lot of censorship.

she did say "glorified". And he's not a board certified physician. He formed his own board with his own requirements. I doubt the AMA would have him as a member

In 1995, Paul was certified to practice by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). [29] Three years earlier, the ABO had changed its certification program, which previously awarded lifetime certifications, and required ophthalmologists to recertify every 10 years, while those who had already been given lifetime certification were not required to recertify. Paul felt this was unfair and began an aggressive campaign to have all ophthalmologists recertify every ten years. In 1997 he set up the National Board of Ophthalmology (NBO) to offer an alternative certification system, at a cost substantially lower than that of the ABO. [30] [31] [32] Its certification exam, which Paul completed for his own certification, was an open book take-home test that Paul helped write. [30] Paul appointed exclusively his own family members to the board of directors and registered the Board to an incorrect address. [30] Named board members were Paul, his wife, and his father-in-law. [33] His father-in-law, the board's nominal secretary, stated "I never did go to any meetings   ... There was really nothing involved. It was more just a title than anything else, for me". [30] The NBO was, itself, never accepted as an accrediting entity by organizations such as the American Board of Medical Specialties , [22] and its certification was considered invalid by many hospitals and insurance companies. Paul let his own ABO certification lapse in 2005, which did not affect his practice in Kentucky; the state does not require board certification. By Paul's estimate, about 50 or 60 doctors were certified by the NBO. [30] The NBO was incorporated in 1999, but Paul allowed it to be dissolved in 2000 when he did not file the required paperwork with the Kentucky Secretary of State's office. He later recreated the board in 2005, but it was again dissolved in 2011. [34]

Well, if you're in KY, you certainly can go to Rand Paul if you wish, because he IS board certified. BTW, the AMA neither grants nor revokes licenses.

YouTube recently suspended Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., after he posted a video questioning the effectiveness of masks against COVID-19 . But did Paul, an ophthalmologist, also lose his medical license?

That’s the word on social media. Still, don’t believe everything you read there.

"Rand Paul’s medical license was just revoked!" one post said . Another claimed that the American Medical Association "revoked the ophthalmologist's ability due to ‘ethical concerns’ and Paul’s ‘blatant disregard for the Hippocratic Oath.’"

These posts were flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Facebook .)

That’s because this claim originated on a satirical section of a website called Patheos.

The text about Paul losing his license due to "ethical concerns" comes straight from an Aug. 10 post on Patheos tagged as satire.

But that context is missing in the posts that are being shared on social media.

According to the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, Paul is an active, licensed physician

We rate this post Pants on Fire!

they would be those that demand others do when recommendations counter to what they desire happen , such as those that respond in a biased manner on social media of any kind ., and it is not limited to just those types of individuals .

end point is irregardless of what others may want ,  if one is following the recommendation of their personal dr , who is familiar with their personal med history , those squalling can go sit on a cactus  with their demands .

It's amazing isn't it?   I'm sure Biden would want to be able to concentrate on China (if he has an ounce of decency), but Putin smelled weakness and there is that problem the democrats created for themselves when it comes to Russia. For five years, the entire Democratic Party talked about Vladimir Putin as if he was the planet’s greatest monster. We could see them believing their own lies. Oddly enough the political party that was once soft on Russia has become hawkish on Russia.

thing is , the US still has in place that those crossing the border need to be vaxxed .

This comes right after Democrats, including Stacey Abrams, suddenly had "scheduling conflicts" when Biden invited them to his speech in Georgia. Can't wait to hear how Psaki will spin out of this new PA rejection!

The Open Society Foundations, a group founded by George Soros, is pushing back on a recent documentary by  Tucker Carlson  taking aim at Soros and his relationship with his homeland of Hungary,  The Washington Post reports .

Carlson’s “Hungary vs. Soros: The Fight for Civilization,” which was created for the Fox Nation streaming service, pits Soros against Hungarian right-wing prime minister Viktor Orbán.

Carlson says that Soros, a liberal billionaire whose Open Society Foundations says it aims to improve democracies and make governments accountable, “is waging a kind of war — political, social and demographic war — on the West.”

The Fox host asserts that the group is “trying to eliminate national borders, to oust democratically elected leaders, and install ideologically aligned puppets into positions of power.”

Open Society Vice President Laura Silber told the Post that Soros and his group “have worked for more than 30 years to support vibrant and inclusive democracies whose governments are accountable to the people they serve.”

“Mr. Carlson appears to prefer authoritarian rule, state capture of media and the courts, crony corruption and rigged elections,” she said.

Carlson defended the documentary episode during his  Fox News show  on Thursday night, saying Soros and Orban have been at "loggerheads for years."

"And so we thought that was interesting enough, enough of a metaphor for the struggle that is going on globally between nationalists and people who oppose them. We thought it was worthy of our season finale documentary for our series Tucker Carlson Originals," he said.

He also responded to pushback, saying, "You have a right to know exactly what George Soros is doing to this country and to other countries around the world and we think we have an obligation to tell you, so we are going to continue to."

Fox Nation has many excellent, informative series.

As for George Soros - He's been known as a bad actor for decades. He's anti-American and anti-Semitic. His money is behind the elections of soft-on-crime DAs in Democrat-run cities.

BUZZ NOTES:

1.   If Russia does in fact do a massive military invasion of the Ukraine (Kiev was my mother's birthplace) I would not be surprised if Xi Jinping were to decide to use the occasion for a military invasion of Taiwan.

2.   Obviously Biden is concerned that the Democrats are going to be losers at the midterms since he has Breyer retiring well before he should.  Not exactly a show of confidence.

3.   The vast proliferation of guns and the inadequacy of gun controls and failure of mental health services are the REAL reasons for the record gun violence in the USA, not defunding the police.

4.   Canada imposed a vax mandate on truckers, because it doesn't welcome anyone thumbing their nose at the necessity of vaccination in order to curb the spreading of the virus and importing it to Canada.  I agree with the mandate - fuck the antivaxxers, even if they're truck drivers.  What isn't reported so broadly is that major truck driver associations AGREE with the mandate.

As for your #4 i see 3 different groups , those that are vaxxed that demand EVERYONE get vaxxed (hint , not going to happen ) those that dont want the vax and are against the mandates ( anti vaxxers ) and that 3rd group that have for one reason or another been advised  by competent medical authority NOT to get the current vaxes . I happen to be a member of the 3rd group , as well as a CDL holder that is qualified to drive just about anywhere i wish to .

I personally trust my personal physician's advice to NOT get these vaxxes since she is aware of MY personal medical history, over some generic government agencies advice that has no clue to anyones medical histories.

Even IF i were vaxxed as a driver , I still would have the choice on what loads and where i would go , safe to say that areas of illness surges would be way off that list .after all the vax is doing nothing to stop one from getting ill , or passing it on .they are still contagious to everyone else even if it is minimal . so no guarantee i would be doing anything to help deliver goods to those areas . being im not vaxxed on advice of my PP, its all but guaranteed i wont be delivering to the harder hit areas such as the major population centers or higher density living areas . They dont want me in because i wont get vaxxed even though i was advised that by competent authority  , and i dont want to be near them because they are sick or carriers . i dont need to deal with the karen or kyle shicklegrubbermanns . and they can go fornicate with a barrel cactus .

Hope there is a plan C or D because the plan B i see is a smokescreen .at least in this country .

as for 1 and 2 , if those come about i would say get ready to welcome WW4 or 5,depending on how one thinks . we already had WW3 , we called it the cold war , im debating if we should call the supposed war on terror WW4 or not since it did include just about every nation on earth to some point . but you get my drift .

1.   If Russia does in fact do a massive military invasion of the Ukraine (Kiev was my mother's birthplace) I would not be surprised if Xi Jinping were to decide to use the occasion for a military invasion of Taiwan.

No kidding. Why wouldn't Xi take advantage of the worst president in the history of the US being in office. Any country that has a problem with China taking Taiwan would find itself instantly cutoff off from semi and super conductor chips.

2.   Obviously Biden is concerned that the Democrats are going to be losers at the midterms since he has Breyer retiring well before he should.  Not exactly a show of confidence.

The only question left is how much of an anti-Constitutional far leftist nut job Biden thinks he can force through the Senate. He realizes that this will be the last Supreme Court justice he gets to put in place. After midterms Republican will rightfully stone wall him.

3.   The vast proliferation of guns and the inadequacy of gun controls and failure of mental health services are the REAL reasons for the record gun violence in the USA, not defunding the police.

Someone else that believes that criminals will honor any laws. It isn't a lack of gun laws we have. Chicago has the most stringent gun laws in the US; and it is a war zone. It is DA's that refuse to prosecute gun laws.

Speaking as someone who was advised by their doctor not to get the vaccine (which it never should be labeled as); both the US and Canada can take their mandates and stick them where the sun won't shine and the rain won't go. These are not vaccines. Vaccines actually prevent you from getting the disease they are intended for. The Covid "vaccines" do not prevent you from getting Covid; they do not prevent you from transmitting Covid to others; and they only "may" diminish the affects of Covid. They are also losing their efficiency with each new strain of Covid that comes along. The amount of break through cases caused by the Omicron variant have proven that.

Truck drivers are doing a valuable service transporting goods and keeping the economy flowing. There are not nearly enough of them as it is. Diminishing their numbers even further is a sure case of leftist morons wanting to destroy their countries. The US should ship a few million unvetted and unvaccinated illegals from our southern border directly into Canada. Then everyone could see the Canadian government for the hypocrisy as the Biden administration.

1.  I never thought of that - control of most of the world's computer chips.

2.  Biden's show of non-confidence will convince the voters to make him a lame duck after the midterms.

3.  I've said more than once it's too late to do anything in the USA other than to make sure everyone is armed in order to protect themselves.

4.  Good reason to create and use autonomous trucks.

4.  Good reason to create and use autonomous trucks.

I am all for autonomous vehicles; on the day that computers can out think, and out react all humans. Until then there are far too many variables for most human drives; much the less a computer. When that happens computers will be able to do the jobs of most humans; and we won't be needed anymore.

when it comes to autonomous vehicles , thats still a long way in the future and us alive today will never see it fully implemented..

the issues it faces is infrastructure , oh i think in the more densely populated areas , it "might " come about sooner , but not by much .

it will actually come down to what can actually be done , that actually works in ALL  areas feasably.

be real here , first there has to be a set track for these vehicles , so that means sensors along the route that are reliable and can not be messed with by weather or people , now the optimum is that the vehicle also be green so now you need charging stations , or at the least somewhere to swap batteries on EV  powered ones all things that are not there .

as i said this idea is still very far away in the future , and still very much in its infancy .

Would not surprise me either if China invaded Taiwan.. thought of that one ages ago when Russia and China has become all palsy walsy all of a sudden..

My SIL is from Kiev and has family in Ukraine so we are watching the situation very closely...

If the timing is wrong China can kiss goodbye to the Olympics...

I can't make up my mind about which of these two possibilities is going to happen, but in any event no way China is going to kiss goodbye to these Winter Olympics - only a world war or an actual invasion of China would prevent it from happening.

1.   Russia holds off doing anything serious during the Olympics because it would cause a serious rift between China and Russia

2.   Russia uses the Olympics as a cover to make his move and invade the Ukraine - as he has done before at least twice - Crimea and Georgia.

I think there is an easy way to figure it out .

Has vlad ever shown he really cares what China thinks ?

and what has his past actions shown ?

kinda whittles it down there . BUT , we are still saying IF , nothing says anything is going to happen at all.

I saw the Mayor of Kiev on with Brian Kilmeade this evening on his new show on Fox News and he discussed the issue and gave a good account of the situation.  Kilmeade asked him if he’d fight to defend his city and he said that he’d rejoin his military to defend his country from a foreign aggressor.
