It should be noted that one person plays all the parts in the above video. He and his wife, (and daughter), make quite the musical team.. 3.6 million followers and he will cover damn near anything, and do it very well. He even does a, "wheels on the bus go round and round" cover.
Works for me Frosty but I’m more preferential towards some other musical artists who hail from Mississippi....... BB King, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Buffett, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddly and who can forget the king .... Elvis Presley?
Interesting that you should mention the King - just finished watching his first movie - "Love Me Tender". Remember when I was a Boy Scout in Japan and the movie first was released for our audience. Our Troop was "tasked" as ushers and parking attendants at the Ernie Pyle Theater. Man, the damn teen girls were all screaming and squealing when the King showed up and started his hip movements. What a hoot.

All legends for sure. BB King is one of my absolute favorites but I do have varied tastes in music, as is evidenced by #1.
One cannot mention Mississippi musicians without the names of Charley Patton, Father of the Delta Blues and Robert Johnson. Both considered the best of the Bluesmen.
LOVE this. Of course I've seen it before but it rocks. I've seen a version played on bagpipes that shoot fire too. Dunno if I can find that video though.
A friend of mine that I met on NV, (in it's early days), lives in Southern Mississippi. I asked her if she has indoor plumbing yet, she replied, "We do, but we have to return it to Home Depot after the weekend is over".
That was my bad. It was flagged by a member and I accidentally removed it for off-topic by author and not just off-topic. I removed since this didn't seem like a political article.
Cat's are apex predators, under the fir and purring is a deadly beast with claws and fangs. Kit-Kat, my 23 pound cat took zero shit off of my neighbors yap yap dog when it made a move to crap in my lawn.
my last 2 cats were tuxedo tabbies. male and female. the males nightly excursions turned me into an amateur veterinarian and the female went after all dogs. territorial bad-asses.
You'll need a bigger litter box that's for damn sure. I didn't know that they actually have spots, like leopards, but they are hard to see. Beautiful animals though.
Nice looking kitties. I have had two black cats. One died about 12 years ago, ( I have a tat of her on my left calf), and the one I have now completely black with green eyes. She's only 6 pounds, small house cat that never goes outside but when it's time for her to go to the vet....it's never a bloodless procedure getting her into the carrier. She rips me to shreds every time.
Most cats seemed to be that way but we had one growing up that loved to ride in cars and didn’t Need a carrier. He’d just jump in, hop on your shoulder and enjoy the ride.
The looks we got from other motorists were hilarious, black cat staring at them from the next car ....
Good old days. Sitting in the back of my dads truck going 70 down the freeway...no restraints at all. I was just thinking...I wonder how much damage an 80 pound black panther could do to your couch? Not good. But she would look damn nice napping on my lawn in the shade, (neighbors pets carcases strewn about...) LOL
Well then, hopefully I’m not one of his neighbors or that beautiful animal would be one of those dead carcasses if she dined on my pets. More than one fox and coyote have found that out the hard way in my sphere of of influence.
Had one like that growing up except he was an albino right down to the pink nose etc. Nelson, he would jump up on the dash or the deck above the rear seats and just sprawl out and enjoy the ride. The most dog-like cat I ever had, he would walk at my heel when I walked around the neighborhood. Watched him ride a pit bull once like he was in the PBR........Helluva cat!
So, about an hour ago, it started to rain again so figured I would come inside, get a sammich and watch something. Then I hear a scratching on the back door.
Kit Kat had been outside "helping me" move cement bricks. So I get up and go to the back door to let him in.. And there he is.... "Look what I caught, let me in, so I can show ya!!!"...
Me: "No."
So he ate it, then I let him in...
For the record, Kit Kat is a LARGE indoor cat, so that mole was quite respectable.
Very cool Slipknot cover.. (Sandy wasn't impressed).

If you ever wondered what a rock band from the backwoods of Mississippi would look like...

One of my all time top ten list of favorite songs.. "Who do ya love".. Absolutely fantastic song.

Nice ..... my favorite cover of that song is by the Blues Brothers. If that don’t get you up and moving you’re dead.

I told ya to don't make fun of my weekends....
On them chilly nights we has a bonfire.
A friend of mine that I met on NV, (in it's early days), lives in Southern Mississippi. I asked her if she has indoor plumbing yet, she replied, "We do, but we have to return it to Home Depot after the weekend is over".
When times get lousy, I mean real lousy we just piss on the fire, call in the dogs and head it on back to Bowlegs.

That's awesome! I would love to own one of those old Peterbilt trucks and restore it.
Oh wow. Someone close by me. The closest one I can remember was someone that lived in the Florida panhandle.
I didn't flag that as OT..
In any case, could a mod please restore the comment. Thanks in advance.

All good. No worries at all. Thanks for addressing it in a timely manner.
For the record, it's a meta article...like I said, just a collection of junk from around the internet.
Trump is going down hard!
His whole administration has gone down hard.
Expect to see Trump in prison before long.
It's all over but the cryin..
Lol!😭🤪🤥🤓🦅🗽🇺🇸Trump Pence 2020! MAGA!
That video of the cat with the light saber at the top; made me think of this...

I never thought of my cat as being lion-hearted, but let's face it, they really are just miniature lions, aren't they.
or black panthers or tigers.
my last 2 cats were tuxedo tabbies. male and female. the males nightly excursions turned me into an amateur veterinarian and the female went after all dogs. territorial bad-asses.
Yep, some cats are just fearless.
My cats seem to love me but have no problem with digging their claws into me just for the fun of it.
you're being tenderized for later on
I was afraid that might be it. I wake up with a cat on my face just waiting for my last breath.
I get a text message from my neighbor:
Hey, have you seen my two pitbulls?
Me: Um, nope, not seen either one of them..
His house is too neat to be a cat owner - hell, there's still stuff on the tables that haven't been knocked over.
My two "Black Panthers" - Shadow and Blackie.
Yikes...... what could wrong with a black panther in the house ... lol
Love me some black cat, we’ve had three of them over the years .... they just always seemed cooler than our other cats

I hear ya, I defend my pets fiercely.
Here are a few mug shots that.....defy explanation.
If Don Cheadle did meth...
I know nothing about women's clothing but.......
Natures way of saying, "do not touch".
A result of generations of finely tuned selective inbreeding.
Ok kids, play nice please. Sun is out, warming up, I need to get outside and get some work done.
