“Mr. Buttigieg’s own existential crisis was his inability to appeal to voters of color, both African Americans and Latinos”
He did far better than I would have expected. He is a solid candidate for V.P. and has a promising future in politics.

“He said, 'I have never had health care.' And he's almost 60 years old. And I said, 'Well, Bernie Sanders wants to make it to where everybody has...”
I wonder how much they have considered the practicality of Sanders' proposals. Do they just presume it will somehow work?
Is Bernie Sanders a Communist?

“What are the policies/positions proposed by Sanders that correlate with those of the former USSR?”
Bernie Sanders is now the front-runner in the D primary. Amazing. Given that, it makes sense to seriously look at what he is proposing. During the last D debate in Las Vegas, Bloomberg implied that Sanders' positions were in effect communism on the grounds that Sanders was trying to throw...
Biden's presidential bid is over, even if he isn't ready to accept it

“... the same Quinnipiac poll that found that he collapsed by nearly 10 points to second place nationally also found that nearly half of Biden's...”
I think the author paints Biden's picture a bit too much on the negative side, but Biden certainly is in scramble mode and is far more likely to fail than to succeed.

“It has been abundantly clear throughout this process that the Democratic Party is terrified — terrified — of picking the wrong candidate, only to...”
The D field is pretty messed up. Bloomberg, as a candidate, still seems to have the best chance of defeating Trump. But he has to counteract: Incumbancy Great economy A content electorate that does not want to rock the boat Bloomberg, IMO, can make an effective argument that his...

““That is a training/planning/organizational problem,” Bird tweeted. “Should have had multiple dry runs & zero people should have been downloading...”
Looks like the technology is going to take the fall for the problems with the Iowa caucus. Apparently the new app was built by a startup company that did not properly test the system. The counting worked, but the reporting had a bug that did not account for all votes. Major failure for all...
D.N.C. Rules Change for Nevada Debate Could Open Door for Bloomberg

“In a major shift, the Democratic National Committee will eliminate the requirement that candidates to show evidence of grass-roots support.”
Bloomberg brings a thoughtful, adult voice and a resume in both private and public sector of high competence. On top of that, he would bring dignity back to the highest elected office in our nation and represent us well with other nations. He is also self-financing his campaign. He does...

“Analysis: The iPhone has propelled Apple from a large computer company with a profitable side business in MP3 players to a $1 trillion megacorp...”
No doubt in my mind, the smart phone (and critically the iPhone) has profoundly influenced our behavior. It has changed the way we do business, conduct personal affairs and (crucially) how we interact with each other. The Apple watch (and other wearables) takes us one step further in our...
