RNC Speaker Supports Household Voting - One Vote Per Family, And The Man Decides | Michael Stone
Patriarchy Abby: Catholic extremist and anti-abortion fanatic Abby Johnson, one of the Republican National Convention's top speakers, supports household

I would support bringing back household voting…Each household would get one vote… the husband would get the final say.

Oh...lovely. My husband isn't even registered to vote. This could cause a major problem in my household

August 25, 2020 by Michael Stone RNC Speaker Supports Household Voting - One Vote Per Family, And The Man

Patriarchy Abby: Catholic extremist and anti-abortion fanatic Abby Johnson, one of the Republican National Convention's top speakers, supports household voting - one vote per family, with the man of the house making the final decision.

On Twitter Johnson said:

I would support bringing back household voting…Each household would get one vote… the husband would get the final say.

In addition to being a dangerous religious extremist who believes women are second-class citizens who should be denied access to reproductive health care in the form of abortion, and the right to vote, Johnson is also a racist who once claimed her "brown son" should be racially profiled by police.

In a recent video the deplorable Johnson said:

Statistically, my brown son is more likely to commit a violent offense over my white sons.

More from the video:

Statistically, I look at our prison population and I see that there is a disproportionately high number of African-American males in our prison population for crimes, particularly for violent crimes. So statistically, when a police officer sees a brown man like my Jude walking down the road — as opposed to my white nerdy kids, my white nerdy men walking down the road — because of the statistics that he knows in his head, that these police officers know in their head, they're going to know that statistically my brown son is more likely to commit a violent offense over my white sons.
So the fact that in his head, he would be more careful around my brown son than my white son, that doesn't actually make me angry. That makes that police officer smart, because of statistics.

Johnson's remarks are ignorant and racist, and one can only feel sympathy for her biracial son.

In the video Johnson did not acknowledge systemic racism, instead, she blames black men for being bad fathers:

I believe the primary reason that we see a lot of the illness in our society today and one of the reasons that we're seeing a lot of what's happening today in our society is because of fatherlessness, because fathers have not stood up and they have not taken their place in the home and particularly in Black homes.

In short, Abby Johnson is not only an anti-abortion conservative religious extremist, she is also a racist promoting sexist, patriarchal non-sense.

And that's why she will be on stage as a top speaker at the Republican National Convention.

Bottom line: Catholic extremist and anti-abortion fanatic Abby Johnson, one of the Republican National Convention's top speakers, supports "household voting" - one vote per family, with the man of the house making the final decision.

Seriously, Lady? I hope you love your brown son as much as you love your white, nerdy, kids

I'm all for her adopting this voting formula.  I actually encourage all trump supporters to follow this practice and the rest of us will follow the Constitution.

I'm always curious about women who give away their basic rights to a man.  Whatever works for her but she doesn't get to tell the rest of us to give up our rights.

Wouldn't it be nice if those who whined and complained about things like entitlements, abortion or or their desired Christian patriarchy would just live their desires, no one is stopping them. If they don't want their own vote and only want their husband to vote for them, then so be it. If they don't like entitlements then don't use them, no one is forcing them to accept Medicare benefits or social security. If they don't like abortion, then don't get one.

Indeed. The same thing is seen when a woman wants abortion rights removed. It's either a (probable) religious indoctrination or self-hating mentality that causes some to think that way.

This is interesting:

Johnson revealed in January 2011 that she had two abortions herself before the birth of her daughter. [8] She lives in Texas with her husband Doug [2] and seven children. [20]

I'm still researching her family life. I love the hypocrites who have had abortions and then become virulently anti-choice.

That makes that police officer smart, because of statistics.

Me thinks there is a flaw in that logic.

Let's create a model to test.

"Knowing" that African-American males are more likely to be charged with a crime than whites, the police officer only pulls over or stops-and-frisks African-American males .

Some of the  African-American males will have a weapon or drugs.

None of the white people will have weapons or drugs - 'cause they were not stopped and frisked.

Eventually the statistics would be overwhelming showing that only black people commit crimes. And of course our prisons would have only black inmates.

We now have our classic self-fulfilling statistical prophesy.

(Obviously all African-American males are not stopped and some white people are stopped .)

I like polls. I like all types of statistical data.

Ideally, the numbers do not lie but those collecting the numbers can intentionally, or unintentionally, cause those numbers to misrepresent reality.

All one need do is remove race from the equation to guarantee their immediate outcry against this practice.

Statistically, the overwhelming majority of violent crime is committed by males between the age of 17 and 34. By her standard, all of those that meet that criteria are suspect and should rightly be profiled.

I forgot this lady ever existed.  She was the gal who earned disciplinary action at her job with Planned Parenthood because she revealed information she gathered from her co-workers personnel files to an employee of another Planned Parenthood location.  It wasn't her first disciplinary matter, and a report was added to her own personnel file.  As an act of revenge, she decided to copy not only administrative files, but patient files as well, and then she passed them off to her local Planned Parenthood haters....who promptly showed her some lovin'.

She also lied about witnessing an ultrasound of a 13-week fetus that was supposedly trying to 'fight off' an abortive procedure as it was being done.  Is there anyone in Donald Trump's sphere that is capable of honesty?

And here is the hubs at home with the kids.

I am reminded of a joke regarding the picture.

Two women were attending the funeral of an old friend.  They talked about how she had eight wonderful children with her first husband and seven more with her second husband.  Both husbands had also died.  One woman said "Isn't it nice that they are finally together again?"  The other asked "Do you mean with her husbands?"  The women replies "No, her legs."
