Biden Calls on Canadian Government to Crush Peaceful ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protest
It is a sad day for free people everywhere when the one-time ‘shining city on a hill’ is calling on another nation’s government to crush peaceful protests. The United States of America used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. But under the Biden regime, it is the land of petty tyrants and the home of gutless cowards.

Biden Calls on Canadian Government to Crush Peaceful ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protest

by Kyle Becker about an hour ago

The Biden administration is calling on the Canadian government to put an end to the ‘Freedom Convoy’ movement. It represents an escalation of the U.S. and Canadian goverrnments’ efforts to crush the peaceful protests.

The White House on Thursday called on the Trudeau government to use its federal powers to “end the truck blockade by Canadians protesting the country’s COVID-19 restrictions,” the AP reported .

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg discussed the situation with Canadian officials. They urged their Canadian counterparts “to use Federal powers to resolve this situation at our joint border,” the report noted.

The protests have even forced automobile factories to scale back production, as Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is offering to intervene to end the trucker-led embargo. She issued the following statement on the standoff.

“My message is simple: Reopen traffic on the bridge,” she said.

“It is imperative that Canadian local, provincial, and national governments de-escalate this economic blockade,” she added. “They must take all necessary and appropriate steps to immediately and safely reopen traffic so we can continue growing our economy, supporting good-paying jobs and lowering costs for families.”

Tucker Carlson on his show Thursday reported back-channel talk that the Whitmer regime may be offering the Canadian authorities heavy equipment to forcibly remove tractor trailers.

The Freedom Convoy has successfully pressured two Canadian provinces into lifting tyrannical Covid restrictions, but the Premier of Ontario has made it clear he doesn’t intend to make it a third.

The premier for Canada’s most populous province, Doug Ford, issued an order on Thursday. The premier’s statement reads as follows:

Screenshot-2_10_2022-6_06_07-PM-scaled.jpg

“Today, the Attorney General brought an application in the Superior Court of Justice for an order pursuant to section 490.8 of the Criminal Code prohibiting any person from disposing of, or otherwise dealing with, in any manner whatsoever, any and all monetary donations made through the Freedom Convoy 2022 and Adopt-a-Trucker campaign pages on the GiveSend Go online fundraising platform.”

“This afternoon, the order was issued,” the premier said. “It binds any and all parties with possession or control over these donations.”

The GiveSendGo campaign for Freedom Convoy 2022 had just cleared 8 million dollars .

Screenshot-2_10_2022-6_23_20-PM.jpg

On Thursday night, GoSendMe issued a fiery retort to the Canadian government.

“Know this! Canada has absolutely ZERO jurisdiction over how we manage our funds here at GiveSendGo,” the company wrote. “All funds for EVERY campaign on GiveSendGo flow directly to the recipients of those campaigns, not least of which is The Freedom Convoy campaign.”

GoFundMe has seized more than $10 million in funds for Freedom Convoy 2022 that was intended to fund truckers standing up for Canadians’ human rights. The left-wing crowdsourcing platform claimed that the “peaceful demonstration has become an occupation” now.

The Ottawa Police department claimed responsibility for telling GoFundMe to shut it down.

GoFundMe states that it is allowing refunds or allowing the money to be sent to “credible charities.” The platform does has a message for people to “ submit a request ” to get their donations back.

State attorney generals are now investigating crowd-sourcing platform GoFundMe for alleged fraud for claiming the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraisers had violated its Terms of Service.

The Ottawa Police have been ratcheting up their pressure on the peaceful protesters, even going so far as to confiscate fuel and firewood.

“Ottawa police had issued a warning earlier Monday that ‘anyone found bringing fuel to the demonstration trucks in the red zone could be subject to arrest and charges,'” the Daily Mail reported .

On Sunday, Ottawa Police and a SWAT team raided a camp to seize fuel.

MSNBC has smeared the Freedom Truckers as “insurrectionists ,” and the network is warning that the same might happen to the Biden administration during the Super Bowl.

“Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hearing rumblings that the protests could arrive stateside around Super Bowl Sunday,” the Daily Mail reported.

“DHS is warning law enforcement and public safety that a ‘prolonged trucker convoy’ protesting vaccine mandates could begin on February 13, when the Super Bowl is scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles,” the Mail added.

“The convoy could severely disrupt transportation, federal government, and law enforcement operations through gridlock and potential counter protests,” the DHS warning states in a classified document that was obtained by Yahoo News .

I don't know why Joe would do this.  With covid seeming to wind down Joe needs to look for other excuses why the economy and general state of affairs sucks so bad.  Blocked traffic in Canada is as good as anything else he has come up with.  It is definitely better than blaming it on car chips being made overseas.

They are a minority of the minority of the working class.

In the meantime Ontario's deeply conservative Premier:

Feb 11 (Reuters) - Canada's Ontario province declared a state of emergency on Friday, amid the ongoing trucker protests against COVID mandates, Premier Doug Ford told reporters.

"I will convene Cabinet to use legal authorities to urgently enact orders that will make crystal clear it is illegal and punishable to block and impede the movement of goods, people and service along critical infrastructure," Ford said in a press briefing.

Ford also pledged new legal action against protesters, including fines and potential jail time for non-compliance with the government's orders.

'We're not backing down': Canadian truckers share message to Trudeau

Truckers who spoke to Fox News said they would stay in Ottawa as long as it took

Lisa BennatanOTTAWA, Ontario –

Canadian truckers protesting in Ottawa want Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to know they will not leave until mandates are lifted, they told Fox News.

"We're not caving in, we're not moving, we're not backing down," Canadian trucker Joshua Singh told Fox News.

Truckers have been protesting in Ottawa for over two weeks as part of the "Freedom Convoy," calling for an end to the government's COVID-19 mandates. Trudeau demanded the "illegal blockades and occupations" stop, and Ontario declared a state of emergency Friday morning.

‘I Hope They Clog Up Cities’: Rand Paul Wants Freedom Truckers To Come To America

GettyImages-1231790492.jpg?fit=crop&ar=16%3A9&w=2048&auto=format&ixlib=react-9.3.0

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is encouraging the prospect of protesting trucker convoys to make their way into the United States and “clog up cities.”

“I’m all for it,” Paul told The Daily Signal on Thursday. “Civil disobedience is a time-honored tradition in our country, from slavery to civil rights, to you name it. Peaceful protest, clog things up, make people think about the mandates.”

“And some of this, we started,” the Republican explained. “We put [COVID-19] mandates on truckers coming across the border from Canada so they put mandates on, and the truckers are annoyed.

“It’d be great, but the thing is, it wouldn’t shut the city down because the government workers haven’t come to work in two years anyway,” Paul snarked. “I don’t know if it’ll affect D.C. It’d be a nice change. We’d actually have some traffic.”

“I hope the truckers do come to America,” he emphasized. “I hope they clog up cities.”

Los Angeles, Washington DC, and NYC should be the focal points of an American trucker effort along with a side show around Portland and Seattle.

Ironic.. The same people that support these idiot truckers are the same people that whined and cried about supply chain problems. Some people will cry about anything and everything as long as it supports an agenda.

The supply chain will resolve as soon as we and the truckers get all China virus mandates and restrictions lifted all across America.

Back to the topic which is Biden pressuring Trudeau to bring an end to the convoy, if I can dream up an answer that Trudeau SHOULD give him, it would be this:

"I know I don't have balls like my father did and whatever you tell me to do with China and Chinese citizens like politicizing the Olympics and interfering with China's domestic affairs and arresting the CFO of Huawei I'll do because I'm your poodle but on this one let's make a deal.  I'll stop the convoy if you pay Alberta the $1.3 billion that you fucked Alberta out of when you cancelled the XL Pipeline that the USA had agreed to and then misled Canada into spending building it."

Biden Calls On Canadian Government To Crush Peaceful ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protest

The Prime Minister of Canada specifically said the Canadian protests were not peaceful.

Oh, well, then, if HE says it, it MUST be true because he wouldn't have any political agenda or anything---right?

LMAO!!!

What violence occurred during the protests?  I don't find anything to indicate violence from the protestors.  Not saying it didn't happen but it would sure help if you could provide some proof.  Otherwise all we have from your comment is that the president or prime minister (or any politician) can say something and it becomes true.

Who cares what he says about anything.  He took a knees to violent protesters almost a couple years ago, and now he wants to place his knee on the necks of actual peaceful protesters.
