Do you have Adultitis?

It is my headline to an article I read once and have been meaning to post here.

The message
The childlike spirit that first brought Kotecki and his wife together at IVCC is the same that infiltrated his comic strip and now his speaking engagements.
I think kids have these natural things about them that make life better and less stressful and more fun that we dont have to give up when we get older, he said.
When speaking to groups, Kotecki urges people to remember the fun of childhood and use it way to gain better perspective on the problems they face as adults. By retaining some of the joyfulness and optimism of youth, not every adult problem will go away but they may come to seem less important, he said.
Its a message designed to help individuals and workplace groups, alike.
Left unchecked, Adultitis will eat your productivity, teamwork, and morale alive, according to the Kim and Jason website.

What is Adulititis?

Adultitis is a common condition occurring in people between the ages of 21121, marked by chronic dullness, mild depression, moderate to extremely high stress levels, a general fear of change, and, in some extreme cases, the inability to smile. Patients can appear aimless, discontent, and anxious about many things. Onset can be accelerated by an excess burden of bills, overwhelming responsibilities, or a boring work life. Generally, individuals in this condition are not fun to be around. from www.adultitis.org .

I have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old.

That's about the level of my sense of humor, Tex. My high stress job and family burdens are offset by my absolute love of bathroom humor and fart jokes.

I fully endorse and support bathroom humor, fart jokes, wild behavior and never growing up.

Sarcasm is a good vehicle for veiled adult attitudes.
