Disturbing moment Turkish president's bodyguards attack Kurdish protesters.....

Disturbing moment Turkish president's bodyguards attack Kurdish protesters, leaving them a bloodied mess outside ambassador's Washington residence during leader's visit to meet Trump

Shocking footage has emerged showing violent clashes between protesters demonstrating against Turkish  President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his suited bodyguards and supporters in Washington DC.  Authorities said nine people were hurt and two arrests were made during the altercation, which took place outside of the residence of the Turkish ambassador.

In the disturbing video, protesters were seen being knocked to the ground and then kicked - sometimes repeatedly in the head - by men in suits. Footage from the scene shows two elderly men, believed to be protesters, bleeding from the head - their clothing covered in blood. - Source

How who would have guessed this was going to happen when two criminal, thug presidents meet?

Welcome to Trumps America,

Seems that they think that they are in Turkey...IMO, Turkey is becoming nothing more than a extremist state governed by a thug.

They are quite good at genocide (Armenia) and now with the Kurds.

But Erdogan was one of Obama's best friends. Surely it isn't a "liberal" of "Democrat" thing to criticize him, is it?

Buzz,

You seem to forget that Israel is allies with Turkey.

They WERE allies. Now they're just not at war with each other. Turkey had tried to break through the Gaza blockade, and one of the "rquirements" it had for detente was for Israel to end the Gaza blockade which anyone with even half a brain would know would cause a well-armed invasion by Hamas, although it has not pressed that requirement.

It's a shame to see such a progressive country fall into darkness with one lunatic at the head. It didn't take long for them to fall back into old habits.

I wonder if any of the "suited" bodyguards were among the arrested?

Don't know for sure Larry, but a couple of the ''suited bodyguard'' were knocked back by Metro Police so they could stop the thugs from kicking a women when she was down.

The obvious question is why weren't the men in suits inciting violence arrested?
