Trump supporters threatened state Capitols but failed to show

“A huge law enforcement presence and the quick arrests of U.S. Capitol rioters dampened enthusiasm, sources said.”
Not sure what to think about the no-show. I wasn't very convinced of a plot to show up at all 50 state capitols to begin with. Maybe they were deterred by the heavy security or maybe there was never an intent in the first place. After the events of the 6th, I think a lot of people had cold...

I thought this interesting. I have never seen this guy's stuff before and, I hate to admit it, the way he looked and all the military looking stuff in the background lead me to expect something a bit different than it turned out to be. Worth the watch.
2 women hit by speeding Jaguar on closed Seattle freeway during protests - Chicago Tribune

“A 27-year-old man drove a white Jaguar onto a closed freeway in Seattle early Saturday and barreled through a panicked crowd of protesters.”
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Two interesting things concerning this. First, had it been a white guy driving this car, the news media would have taken a very different approach in how they reported this. As it is, they already seem to be trying to make some sort of narrative...
Why People Loot
Via: Drakkonis • News & Politics • 14 Comments • 1 Like • 5 years ago
“In this way, some of the looting is a lashing-out against capitalism, the police, and other forces that are seen as perpetuating racism....”
Well, I'm not sure I was expecting an article like this one or it simply is no surprise to me. Maybe a little of both. One thing I can say is that it is exactly what I expected it to be when I saw the title. A list of excuses without once mentioning the most likely reason. A poor moral...

“The theory of evolution has divided our modern culture, but does it have to? Could there be a way to show evolution is compatible with the major...”
I found this video today. In it was expressed concepts I hadn't heard of before and found them very interesting. Especially convergence and the idea that we are not random but rather, possibly inevitable from a scientific standpoint. Doesn't do much for explaining our intelligence, though....
Weirdest thing ever!

“The atoms or elementary paricles themselves are not real; they form a world of potentialities or possibilities rather than one of things or facts....”
Quantum science is beyond strange. I'm not sure how to think about it, let alone what to think about it. Not much wonder in why Einstein hated the idea.
What is wrong with us.

“Anderson was fired under the high school's zero-tolerance policy regarding employees using racial slurs.”
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Students at a Wisconsin high school skipped class Friday and marched through the streets of the state capital to protest the firing of a black security guard who was terminated for repeating a racial slur while telling a student not to call him that word. Madison Police...

Here are the reasons, in no certain order, that the accusations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh will never stop and his foes on the progressive left never let up. Because progressives have to justify advancing the sexual-assault accusations of Christine Blasey Ford. They lost that battle;...

Whites Will soon be the minority (sort of) Big Deal or Major Yawn?

“Others say they are not sugarcoating statistics, but showing that the numbers have many interpretations, and that white-versus-everyone-else is...”
I remember the first time I heard the statistic that soon whites would not longer be the majority. I remember the first thing that came into my mind. "And?" The impression I got from the news program on which it was revealed seemed to think I should take it as a big deal. Like the implications...
