The 1st amendment from freedom of speech to assembly to petitioning government, along with the free exercise there of are all at risk in today’s America.  Religious 🙏liberty 🗽 is a virtual anathema to bi coastal secular progressive elites.  The other side is divided over denial God exists and hating Him because they know He is real and don’t like it.  They are unified in their desire to persecute and mock true believers and to take away our free exercise rights.  Home and private schooling has long been a target of the left.  That makes this yet another timely topic to be explored.

God's Not Dead Actor Antonio Sabato Jr. Encourages Christians to Trust in Christ amid Threats to Religious Freedom

Actor and former model Antonio Sabato Jr., who will be starring in the fourth installment of the God's Not Dead films, is encouraging Christians to trust in Jesus Christ amid recent threats to religious liberty.

The movie, titled "God's Not Dead: We the People, " will tackle the topics of "freedom of speech and religious liberties as the fundamental right to educate children," as seen in national headlines in recent years.

David A.R. White, who starred in the first three God's Not Dead films, will be reprising his role as the Rev. Dave hill.

"It's such a beautiful franchise with friends of mine," Sabato told The Christian Post in a recent interview. "David White and the whole production company, I was so honored to be part of this and to be able to be asked to play this role that is really close to their heart. It's just a beautiful story with a really great message and shot beautifully."

According to the film's synopsis, Reverend Dave will be defending a group of Christian homeschooling families as he is called to Washington D.C. "to testify in a landmark congressional hearing that will determine the future of religious freedom in our country for years to come."

Sabato, who first rose to fame in the 90s as a Calvin Klein underwear model and for starring in the soap opera General Hospital , believes that the film reflects the current attacks on freedom of speech and religious liberty.

"Our freedom is being attacked at the moment, in different ways. So we have to stand up. I believe that God is putting a test on us," the actor explained. "We have to keep fighting, and we have to keep in faith and know that God will succeed no matter what. But we, as people, have to really come out of our shells and really devote ourselves to the Lord."

While Christians will be confronted with evil, Sabato asserted that "at the end of the day, we always succeed." He encouraged Christians to be aware and to be committed because it's during hard times that "faith is really the bottom line."

"We can't rely on the news; we can rely on people, we can't rely on humans, we have to rely on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for everything," Sabato declared.

"This movie is coming out at the right time. God doesn't make mistakes; it's not a coincidence," he contended.

"God's Not Dead: We The People" will be released in theaters on October 4th. The film will feature Sabato, Isaiah Washington ( Grey's Anatomy ) and Grammy-winning Christian artist Francesca Battistelli among others.

Antonio Sabato Jr., one of the stars of “God’s Not Dead: We the People,” the fourth installment of the popular franchise, says Christians must rely on Jesus Christ anytime their rights are threatened.

“God’s Not Dead: We the People” will be released on Oct. 4 and reflects events that made national headlines in recent years pertaining to battles over “freedom of speech and religious liberties as the fundamental right to educate children."

Actors in this film include Sabato ("General Hospital"), David A.R. White (“God’s Not Dead”), Isaiah Washington (“Grey’s Anatomy”), and Grammy-winning Christian artist Francesca Battistelli.

"It's such a beautiful franchise with friends of mine,” Sabato told The Christian Post in a video interview that can be watched below. “David White and the whole production company, I was so honored to be part of this and to be able to be asked to play this role that is really close to their heart. It's just a beautiful story with a really great message and shot beautifully.”

The film's synopsis says that in the fourth installment, “Reverend Dave (from the other 'GND' films) is called to defend a group of Christian homeschooling families. He finds himself taken aback by the interference of the government, and believing that their right to educate their own children is a freedom worth fighting for. Reverend Dave is called to Washington, D.C., to testify in a landmark congressional hearing that will determine the future of religious freedom in our country for years to come.”

Sabato said he believes the film’s premise is close to reality.

"Our freedom is being attacked at the moment, in different ways. So we have to stand up. I believe that God is putting a test on us. We have to keep fighting, and we have to keep in faith and know that God will succeed no matter what. But we, as people, have to really come out of our shells and really devote ourselves to the Lord,” the former model told CP.

The actor, who's now also making films, went on to say that Christians have always been confronted with difficult situations: “We've always confronted the evil, we've always confronted things that were in the dark side and at the end of the day, we always succeed it."

"I'm not worried; I'm just more aware of the situation," he added. "You have to be aware, and you have to be committed because in hard times, it really comes down to faith, and faith is really the bottom line. We can't rely on the news; we can rely on people, we can’t rely on humans, we have to rely on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for everything!”

“This movie is coming out at the right time. God doesn't make mistakes; it's not a coincidence,” Sabato said, noting noted that hard times often bring believers together.

"We've been confronted, we shut the movie down during production because of COVID and things like that, and we had to leave the location and then come back later,” Sabato said of some of the obstacles “God’s Not Dead: We the People” faced while in production.

He continued: “We were confronted by an ice storm. We finished the film, and we did it no matter what, so that says a lot about everyone."

Once named as one of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive, he previously told CP in an interview that once he humbled himself and gave his life to God, Hollywood has "blacklisted" him. Sabato also ran for congress in 2018 and lost, but he says none of that has slowed him down.

"God is good. I am just top of the game right now, emotionally. When you go through the hard times and you come out with the Lord next to you, it's like the shield of love and the integrity that He brings you into and the love and kindness, and I am blessed mightily. Everything that's happening, I have a great partner next to me, great kids, a production company, a studio now and doing film. So God is good. I'm just so blessed to be part of this.”

In response to a line in “God’s Not Dead: We the People” in which Isaiah Washington's character states that, in the past, Christians always stayed away from the law, which allowed others to do whatever they wanted, Sabato noted that people are confronted with issues that are “bigger” than themselves all the time and are called to act.…

This movie like the first three God’s not Dead movies will be in a theater near you and nationwide.  A timely topic too since home and religious private school attendance doubled since the pandemic began and the teachers unions will likely use government to get their students back from their parents.

I wouldnt know how religious any of those people are because you dont need to be religious, or even a Catholic, to attend a Catholic university.

In most cases you dont have to be Catholic to attend a Catholic high school either, although I would imagine most of the kids are because it is not free like public school is.

Christians seem to feel attacked or constrained whenever they can't force everybody to adhere to their beliefs. Same with most religions, they all have a faction of people who want to put their beliefs into law.  What religious right does that mental giant Antonio Sabato Jr think is being threatened?

There is no sin that man repents of that God will not forgive.  We are all sinners.  God has forgiven people who’ve done bad things and then used them to do great things to advance His will in this world.  That salvation you mockingly refer to above is available to all who seek it.

That there are hypocrites in the church and fake believers going through the motions is a fact.  No one can deny it.  The term wolf in sheep’s clothing is applicable here.  They do bad things while pretending to believe.  They believe that they can be “saved” and then continue in their old ways.  They are wrong.  They can damage the faith of some.  The bottom line though is that “there are hypocrites in the church”  excuse will not stand as a defense in the judgement.  Each person is responsible for themselves and allowing what others do to affect that is a big mistake.

Antonio Sabàto Jr. is an Italian-born American former model and actor. Sabàto first found fame in the 1990s as an underwear model for Calvin Klein and playing Jagger Cates on the soap opera General Hospital from 1992 to 1995. By the early 2000s, most of his acting credits were guest appearances, reality television, and budget films. Sabàto ran unsuccessfully as the Republican candidate for U.S. Congress against incumbent Democratic Congresswoman Julia Brownley for California's 26th district in the 2018 elections. Wiki

Can a crowd edited resource like Wikipedia be as objective as a professionally edited resource such as the Encyclopedia Britannica? Two professors recently set out to do just that, and found that the answer is: it depends.

Feng Zhu of Harvard Business School, and Shane Greenstein of Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, analyzed nearly 4,000 pairs of articles about American politics from Wikipedia and Britannica for evidence of bias. They concluded that Wikipedia articles with many revisions are more neutral than those with fewer edits, and are no more biased than those created by a professional team of writers, experts, and editors (such as those at Britannica.) Problems of bias, however, are problematic in the more obscure Wikipedia articles that do not get a lot of edits from a wide range of contributors.

Is Wikipedia Objective? » Tech Tips » Surfnetkids

Nothing is perfect, but except for the opinions of hard core conservatives, Wiki is pretty neutral.

That one of the co-founder is disappointed is of no importance. Larry Sanger is apparently sincere and

started Citizendium which he controls more tightly than Jimmy Wales  does Wiki.

Wales also started Fandom which he recently sold and reportedly, Sanger was upset by not being included.

Ironically Sanger also complains that Wiki is perceived to be "anti elitist" so you might want to reevaluate.

It’s not just hard core conservatives, it’s virtually all of us.  We have no use for big tech social media “fact checkers”, Gate keepers, wiki pedia, MBFC, and the like.  They are waging open warfare against free speech, the first amendment in general and much of what it is Christians and conservatives believe in .  We have as much contempt for them as they do for us.  We will not change our beliefs and ideas to be compatible with them or compromise anything at all to appease them.  We will believe and express what we do without compromise.  Eventually they will rate enough of our stuff unacceptable and one too many places will be ruled off limits, and we will all find our way to alternative social media places and dialogue will be rent in two as progressives and conservatives will no longer communicate with each other but talk past and over each other from competing platforms where the other has no presence and we will have two America’s in every way.  Two way communication and dialogue is important but we Christian conservatives will not be 2nd class citizens on big tech platforms in order for it to happen. It would be better to have two separate segregated competing systems that don’t acknowledge the existence of the other than be dictated to on on content by Godless progressives.  Fortunately that time is not yet here and hopefully cooler minds interested in dialogue on fully equal terms will prevail.  Maybe Facebook, Twitter, and Google will one day see the light.

It’s not just hard core conservatives, it’s virtually all of us.

You should really learn to just speak for yourself.

They are waging open warfare against free speech, the first amendment in general and much of what it is Christians and conservatives believe in .

No they are just trying to promote the truth. If you believe in the Tooth Fairy does that make the Tooth Fairy real?

Of course not.

We have as much contempt for them as they do for us.

That's your problem, I'm sure they care not a whit for your personal issues.

We will not change our beliefs and ideas to be compatible with them or compromise anything at all to appease them.  We will believe and express what we do without compromise.

No one expects you to, by the same token, I don't expect proselytizing from any religious group ever.

You are free to leave at anytime yet persist. Free choice, no Amendments being violated, just paranoid psycho babble.

Two way communication and dialogue is important but we Christian conservatives will not be 2nd class citizens on big tech platforms in order for it to happen.

Can't stand the heat?  Get out of the Kitchen.

It would be better to have two separate segregated competing systems that don’t acknowledge the existence of the other than be dictated to on on content by Godless progressives.

Epik, Parler, Gab, minds and others are available for those who seem to think comity and civility only applies to those

in total religious or political agreement.

Fortunately that time is not yet here and hopefully cooler minds interested in dialogue on fully equal terms will prevail.

He has a wide variety of experiences pre and post conversion.  This man clearly puts his religious beliefs higher than political ones.  He’s aware of how political people can often through their bias and intolerance negatively impact upon the expression of religious beliefs and the religious liberty of believers.  The movie he made deals with yet another attack upon home schooling this time by the federal government dominated by secular progressives.

Where I live in California we had to sue the governor repeatedly to preserve our rights or restore them.  All the way to the Supreme Court.  Some of us in the outlying rural counties simply resorted to open and outright defying him.  It took signing recall petitions and forcing him to the ballot to get him to moderate his actions.

The threat to freedom of religion is very real.  America’s secular progressives want to do on a national level what Canadian and Australian governments are doing to church goers over there and up there.  The executive orders of blue mayors and governors are those they want Biden to attempt on a national level.
