Florida Man Checks If Gun Is Loaded By Putting It To His Head, Pulls Trigger, KIlls Self
A 49-year-old Florida man is dead after accidentally Second Amendmenting himself in the head, according to police.
Even though Charles Cooper failed to practice the basics in gun safety, police believe his death was an accident.
Volusia County Sheriffs Office said that Charles Cooper, 49, and a female friend were on property that Cooper owns in Mims, with plans to fish and barbecue.
The couple had been drinking and sometime while they were outdoors Cooper retrieved a handgun, deputies said. A friend told Cooper that he [sic] had removed the magazine from the handgun but questioned aloud whether there was still a round in the chamber.
Deputies said Cooper raised the gun to his head and pulled the trigger, discharging a fatal round. He fell to the ground next to the bonfire.
Volusia County Sheriffs Office was notified on Sunday morning at around 1:50 a.m.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy with be performed by the Volusia County Medical Examiners office.
Authorities say that all signs at the scene point to the shooting being an accident.
First remove the clip, then clear the chamber. After that, do not point it at your stupid fat head to be sure its not loaded.
Know your target before pulling the trigger, unless you want to shoot yourself in your stupid head.
Also, dont drink or take drugs while committing gunfuckery.At least he didnt take anyone down with him

Just a few miles from me. Drugs, alcohol, and guns is never a good idea. At least it was himself he hurt, not someone else.

The USAF tends not to use regular guns. We had and it still does have much more fun toys to play with. And there is nothing the Air Force appreciates more then new toys, to help save ground troops asses so they can live to go home. Alsoto be ready to answer a nuclear attack from any place in the world with such power the people there will not exist long enoughto wish they'd never been born. They would be mist! Shadows lightly burnt into the pavement. I love that thought.
