Diamond And Silk Censored by Facebook as “Unsafe to the Community” - UPDATE

UPDATE with new video:

Facebook has since backtracked over classifying the conservative firebrands as “unsafe,” admitting error in how the situation was handled.

“We have communicated directly with Diamond and Silk about this issue. The message they received last week was inaccurate and not reflective of the way we communicate with our community and the people who run Pages on our platform,” a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News.

But Diamond says Facebook did not reach out to them regarding the issue following the uproar. “They never communicated to us. The last communication that we got was they deemed us unsafe to the community,” she said.

“Diamond And Silk have been corresponding since September 7, 2017, with Facebook (owned by Mark Zuckerberg), about their bias censorship and discrimination against D&S brand page.”

“Finally after several emails, chats, phone calls, appeals, beating around the bush, lies, and giving us the run around, Facebook gave us another bogus reason why Millions of people who have liked and/or followed our page no longer receives notification and why our page, post and video reach was reduced by a very large percentage.”

“Here is the reply from Facebook. Thu, Apr 5, 2018 at 3:40 PM: ‘The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community.'”

“Yep, this was FB conclusion after 6 Months, 29 days, 5 hrs, 40 minutes and 43 seconds. Oh and guess what else Facebook said: “This decision is final and it is not appeal-able in any way.” (Note: This is the exact wording that FB emailed to us.)”

Diamond and Silk then posed multiple questions to Facebook and specifically the company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The questions are;

1. What is unsafe about two Blk-women supporting the President Donald J. Trump?
2. Our FB page has been created since December 2014, when exactly did the content and the brand become unsafe to the community?
3. When you say “community” are you referring to the Millions who liked and followed our page?
4. What content on our page was in violation?
5. If our content and brand was so unsafe to the community, why is the option for us to boost our content and spend money with FB to enhance our brand page still available? Maybe FB should give us a refund since FB censored our reach.
6. Lastly, didn’t FB violate their own policy when FB stopped sending notifications to the Millions of people who liked and followed our brand page?

Breitbart News has reached out to Facebook for comment on the issue but has yet to receive a reply at the of the writing of this article.

This isn’t the first time that Diamond and Silk have faced internet censorship, the YouTube stars had their videos demonetized from YouTube’s platform in August of 2017. The duo claimed that YouTube had “stopped over 95% percent of our videos from being monetized, stating: ‘It’s Not Suitable For All Advertisers’.”     http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2018/04/08/facebook-allegedly-deems-pro-trump-diamond-and-silk-unsafe-to-the-community/

We are better off without FB policing content.
Zuckerberg is answering questions now. Mike Lee asked him about how FB intends to be even handed if they are going to monitor lively debate?

Zuckerberg's answer was that he would try to be unbiased with the liberal caveat - that he would also not allow anyone to be bullied or offended!  We know what that means, don't we? If there is a debate between a pro-choice and pro-lifer, it's the pro-life individual that gets content removed!

Zuckerberg has already shown his obvious bias as has the deep state. He is before Congress because Cambridge Analytica took FB members private info and used it to aid the Trump Campaign. Oddly enough the Obama campaign was offered help by Zuckerberg:

"According to Carol Davidsen, the former media director for Obama for America, Facebook gave the 2012 Obama campaign direct access to the personal data of Facebook users in violation of its internal rules, making a special exception for the campaign. The Daily Mail, a British newspaper, reported that Davidsen  said   on Twitter  March 18 that Facebook employees came to the campaign office and “were very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldn’t have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side.”

Funny, not a peep about that.

1. What is unsafe about two Blk-women supporting the   President Donald J. Trump ?

It doesn't fit the liberal bullshit that FB pushes.

2. Our FB page has been created since December 2014, when exactly did the content and the brand become unsafe to the community?

Within the last few months when it was exposed that the same data mining company used by Obama was supporting Trump.

3. When you say “community” are you referring to the Millions who liked and followed our page?

Their "community" are just the liberal fools offended by EVERYTHING.

4. What content on our page was in violation?

It was anything and everything that goes against the liberal agenda and supports Trump.

5. If our content and brand was so unsafe to the community, why is the option for us to boost our content and spend money with FB to enhance our brand page still available? Maybe FB should give us a refund since FB censored our reach.

Because you are a cash cow for them.  The minute you stop making them money, they cut you off.  Apparently the revenue is down so here we are.

6. Lastly, didn’t FB violate their own policy when FB stopped sending notifications to the Millions of people who liked and followed our brand page?

You aren't supposed to question the liberal agenda.  Despite 90% of it making absolutely no sense.

The Facebooker Who Friended Obama

Last November, Mark Penn, then the chief strategist for Hillary Rodham Clinton, derisively said Barack Obama ’s supporters “look like Facebook .”

Chris Hughes takes that as a compliment.

Mr. Hughes, 24, was one of four founders of Facebook. In early 2007, he left the company to work in Chicago on Senator Obama’s new-media campaign. Leaving behind his company at such a critical time would appear to require some cognitive dissonance: political campaigns, after all, are built on handshakes and persuasion, not computer servers, and Mr. Hughes has watched, sometimes ruefully, as Facebook has marketed new products that he helped develop.

So maybe the Obama core does “look like Facebook.” Mr. Penn’s remark, made at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in Iowa and reported by The Politico, was cited by both Mr. Rospars and Mr. Hughes in separate interviews.

I was fortunate enough to take a leave in 2007, and go and work for the president, for Barack Obama and the campaign and to try to apply what I learned at Facebook there.

Mr. Hughes has not decided whether to return to Facebook, and the decision does hinge in part on the fate of the campaign.

continue...

And so the coverup and propaganda is put in place.

Go back to Facebook?  He knew he wasn't going back to Facebook, but he was taking Facebook with him to the campaign.  They've been harvesting or mining information long before these latest revelations.  The news focuses on the Trump Administration and the organization who worked with them as though it was so corrupt, but it was given to Obama because it promoted the World Wide Left, but the citizens didn't know it was happening then.

And true to form, Zuckerberg follows the Hillary Clinton tradition of deleting the evidence....

Zuckerberg Silently Deletes His Past Into The Orwellian Memory Hole

As privacy ourcry after privacy outcry has engulfed the public conversation about his company over the last few weeks, it appears Mark Zuckerberg was actually hard at work behind the scenes focusing on user privacy long before the current crisis: hurriedly deleting all of his correspondence that might unmask additional secret projects or offer any further insights into his view of his “ dumb ” users. What does it mean to live in a world in which the CEO of a company with two billion users can quietly go back and delete history, throwing every embarrassing or incriminating conversation into the memory hole to create a more perfect past for themselves?

Facebook and You Tube censor Diamond and Silk, calling what they say "unsafe to the community" ---

but they allow "safe to the community" videos of Kathy Griffin holding up a replica of Donald Trump's bloodied, decapitated head, ISIS burning and beheading men? They also allow "safe to the community" videos of Muslims stoning women and performing female castration on children.

Yea, I don't get it. I watch them on F&F sometimes and nothing they say is crude or "unsafe". I guess FB only allows certain people or groups to have an opinion. I sent my sister a text this morning when I heard about this, and she said they have done the same thing to Dan Bongino and Ted Cruz. I missed Dan's segment this morning because I was getting my little on the bus.

I find them to be truthful and humorous. The Left (FB and YouTube) seem to be offended by truth.

Yes, Facebook and You Tube have censored Bongino and Cruz. They've also censored Prager U, Campus Reform, NRA, and Michelle Malkin. Many everyday FB users who post articles about illega l immigration, Muslim terrorism, and anti-gun control are thrown into "Facebook jail" (account suspended) for a month.

Diamond & Silk were on F & F this morning and shared the newest response they got from Facebook. It's hilarious! It seems that FB doesn't even know that D & S are the owners of their brand!

I got an IG when my oldest was going to Disney with her 8th grade dance team. They were going to be posting pics and updates about their trip there. In the last year, I found myself using it more than FB, you don't see as much censorship there. Quite frankly, I'm about done with social media, it was a good idea at first but I think it has taken on a mind of it's own, or rather, it's owners or whoever runs it.

It's sad that not one of the famously outspoken defenders of women's civil rights (Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Linda Sarsour, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Elizabeth Warren, Barbra Streisand, Madonna, etc) have been outraged about what Facebook and You Tube have done to Diamond and Silk. Instead, all we have are crickets from them. Very telling about their hypocritical agenda.

Time will tell whether Zuckerberg follows through on his statements that he's going to fix the algorithms that currently suppress Conservative voices.

There's no need for me to do this, because Facebook is not a private company.

So apparently you don't know the difference between a company that is owned by shareholders (still technically a private company as not all members of the public own Facebook stock) and entities that are not allowed to violate the 1st amendments restrictions making discriminatory laws.

"The First Amendment ( Amendment I ) to the United States Constitution prevents Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion , prohibiting the free exercise of religion , or abridging the freedom of speech , the freedom of the press , the right to peaceably assemble , or to petition for a governmental redress of grievances ."

So Facebook has every right to limit what they want on their platform, they are not restricted by the 1st amendment.

They are, however, limited by civil rights legislation as a publicly traded company instead of a "private members only club" which doesn't have to abide by civil rights law. Civil rights include the ensuring of peoples' physical and mental integrity, life, and safety; protection from discrimination on grounds such as race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, colour, age, political affiliation, ethnicity, religion, and disability.

So Facebook has every right to monitor and block/edit any content that private users are attempting to publish through their platform as long as they are not discriminating solely on peoples' race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, colour, age, political affiliation, ethnicity, religion, and disability.

If Facebook was discriminating against Diamond & Silk because they're black, then they are violating the law. If they were even discriminating purely on political affiliation, then they are violating the law. In this case that may actually be the truth even though some Facebook employee claimed their content, specifically something they posted that was seen as a "threat" to pro-choice Americans, was not acceptable which prompted this censorship. If it was purely based on political affiliation then Facebook was wrong and they're right.

Here's a hint: the 1st Amendment restricts what the federal and state governments do, it doesn't restrict any company or any individual or any group of individuals.   It's rather amusing that several conservatives here aren't aware of such basic facts about our constitution.

Doubtful unless the two women live in California and can file a complaint there.   While public accommodations laws would likely apply to this situation I think only CA protects political affiliation in that area.   It's otherwise not protected under state or federal law for public accommodations.

These photos all appear with blurbs of stories on the seeds source website.   It is a right wing website that is filled with liberal bashing and race baiting articles.

I havent seen Diamond and Silk since early in the Trump campaign. I saw a couple of their bits , which are second rate liberal bashing supposedly emboldened by the comics being black and thus "off the plantation" and somehow inordinately brave.

I dont recall them as having any noticeable talent or insight, and they seemed like two pointless opportunists trying to cash in on the election and political turmoil overtaking the country.

In short, who cares about Diamond and Silk?

we do not censor opposing political speech in this country.

this why zuckerborg is going to find his company regulated by congress and why today's left cannot be trusted to run our country.

In his 2 days of questioning this week, he lied at least twice. He said that FB discussed this issue with Diamond and Silk. As of last night, both women stated that FB has not contacted them.

I laughed when he said that he didn't know/understand his own business model.

Zuckerberg had no choice but to act, and quickly. Both Democrats and Republicans backed him into a corner and heavily questioned him about Facebook's censorship of D & S and their followers. They didn't find his pathetic answers acceptable or amusing.

Here's what D & S said about the Twitter contact.

I keep my FB on lockdown, my # isn't listed and I generally don't PM people on there. I hardly ever post on there anymore since most of what I do is share pics of my girls which I do now on IG since my family has finally joined. I'm keeping my IG around since our middle girl is about to go to Disney with her middle school dance team and thats where they will be sharing pics and updates. Quite frankly, I'm tired of social media and considered deactivating my accts, especially FB. IG doesn't seem that bad and I don't have a twitter, tumblr, snapchat or whatever else is out there LOL. Honestly, I got FB to play farmville LOL. Everytime I called my mom or sister I would hear the barn animals in the background and I didn't want to be left out LOL. I don't play it anymore and haven't in years. I will admit to candy crush though.....I'm hooked on CC Jelly and I'm almost ashamed to say I'm on level 1115 blushing

Good questions. Since Zuckerberg couldn't even describe what his business model is, it's logical to believe that he also doesn't know what email, USPS, or a telephone are.

10 Reasons Facebook Declared Trump’s Favorite Black Women, Diamond and Silk, ‘Unsafe’

1. They spread fake news.

They repeatedly push conspiracy theories like Uranium One , pizza-gate and the unbelievable theory that Donald Trump has a brain.

2. Maybe they’re in Facebook jail.

I reported their lacefronts for multiple code-of-conduct violations, including lack of believability. I’m particularly offended by Diamond’s left-leaning side ponytail. Or maybe that’s Silk. Does it even matter?

3. They promote offensive content.

When I recall their rap video in response to Eminem’s anti-Trump freestyle , I throw up outside my mouth.

4. It was a copyright violation.

After all, they’re just a black, female, right-wing version of Beavis and Butthead.

5. They were kidnapped.

I still refuse to believe that these two women aren’t being held at gunpoint in an undisclosed location by alt-right terrorists who force them to shuck and jive for Slim Jims and Little Debbie Zebra Cakes.

6. They got noise complaints.

Why do they talk so loud? They don’t even need microphones. I’m sure they’ve shattered the eardrums of at least one or two of their fans.

7. They’re pornographic.

When I Googled “Ebony couple rides Republican penis while kissing white man’s anus” (purely for research purposes), the first 117 results were Diamond and Silk videos.

8. They’re funded by the Russians.

Only Vladimir Putin would believe that anyone could find Diamond and Silk interesting. I still find it hard to believe that the duo aren’t a pair of computer-generated Russian bots.

9. They’re racist.

One day we’ll find out that Diamond and Silk are just Milo Yiannopoulos and Richard Spencer wearing blackface and Remi No. 5 weave.

10. Maybe they actually bought the wrong milk.

Maybe Diamond and Silk’s milk analogy wasn’t an analogy. Maybe their hometown of Fayetteville, N.C., only allows them to buy chocolate milk, and they are outlaws. If this is the case, then I apologize. After all, it is obvious that the black Thelma and Louise prefer everything white.

I agree. However, Michael Harriott's rudimentary grasp of political satire ( comment 15 ) is what plebeians admire. To learn what real political satire is, he and others should read and learn from the works of Shakespeare, Swift, Dickens,  Nietzsche, and Orwell.

Liberals are supposed to be all about fairness, maybe Marky should delete a bunch of liberal posts and threads to make up for it./s     Face it FB has been doing this for a LOOONG time.  The only reason anyone is talking about it now is because someone was careless enough to sensor 2 peaceful conservative black women and by dong so, once again, outed liberal bias in US media sources of every sort and put it back in the spotlight.
