Certainly not, this is a pretty staggering blow IMO. Trump has a very good shot at reelection prior to COVID-19. He had the incumbency (momentum, notoriety, funding, etc.) and if his presidency was seen as net positive, incumbency alone might have been enough. But he also had a good economy and, importantly, the electorate was content.
COVID-19 threatened this so Trump (thinking of himself as usual) downplayed the threat so that the people would not freak out and disrupt the economy. In result, he sent out mixed signals (including those which demonstrably caused followers to not take the threat as serious as they should). He changed his tune when the infections soared and the USA failed to control the pandemic domestically. But even then it was mixed as evidenced by his avoidance of wearing a mask.
With that history, the absolute worst blow in October is for him and his associates to become infected. Biden will likely win this election based on this one point:
Trump cannot keep himself and his associates safe, how is he going to keep the USA safe?
Trump just punctuated his biggest misstep in 2020 a few weeks before the election.
And still some voters can not formulate in their minds the conclusion. Trump is a salesman. A "con-fid-ence" man. He will take it as a challenge to sell earthquake insurance to people living in a hurricane zone!
Some voters do not have the ability to discern a 'thing.' That is, MOVE TO CONCLUSION.
