A new recording to a Georgia official from President Donald Trump may be enough for prosecutors to charge him with racketeering.

According to theWall Street Journal, Trump told the official that if she was able to find enough votes that she "would be praised."

According toa report from MSNBC's Rachel MaddowTuesday night, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis revealed that she would be looking into whether the RICO statues could apply in charges against Trump. She's also hired Atlanta lawyer John Floyd, who not only wrote a book on RICO cases, but has prosecuted the top ones in Georgia for the past two decades.

"It's not a stretch to see where she's taking this," Reuters cited Cathy Cox, dean of Mercer University's law school. "If Donald Trump engaged in two or more acts that involve false statements - that were made knowingly and willfully in an attempt to falsify material fact, like the election results - then you can piece together a violation of the racketeering act."

The first act would have been when Donald Trump called Gov. Brian Kemp. This new recording to Georgia Chief Investigator Frances Watson makes the second.

In the recording, Trump said that Fulton County, in particular, should be highlighted. "Fulton is the motherlode, Fulton County," he said.

He encouraged Watson of checking signatures going back two years or more before authorizing people's votes.

Nowhere. Only in far Left politics is it routinely ok to say that words actually mean something totally different from their ordinary plain meaning. And you don't need to prove it. All you have to do is say "it's obvious" or "clearly."

You can't be serious. What do you think going back 'two years or more before authorizing' means?

Case in point:  My father was a life-long republican, my mom was staunchly independent.  My father was never questioned about his signature.  My mom received notices regarding her signature in both Obama elections, and in the 2016 election when she voted for Hillary Clinton.  In each of those instances, we were told that it was too late for her vote to count.  What baloney that was.  My father had Alzheimer's.  His signature had become little more than unreadable chicken scratch.  But my mom's signature had changed very little, even after her Parkinson's diagnosis.  Several of their friends from church and the volunteer center at the hospital had experienced similar circumstances.

Sorry dear, but that's one way votes are 'created'.

Well YES, yes i do !   Trump , as seen and heard with my own eyes and ears, iS ALL THE "PROOF", ANYONE should need, Hell, Mitch, another Putin Bitch, arguably the most powerful Republican, admitted and stated Trump WAS GUILTY in INCITING the Capitol RIOT, and ANYBODY with half a thought process, could process the facts that Trump HAS LIED ABOUT SO MUCH, causing so many more DEATHS and sickness via Covid LIES, LIES about the election process that has been proven bullship, Mueller report if read by a fairly non-biased individual, screams of more LIES and Trump WOULD BE IN JAIL WITH HIS LAWYER, if not for Presidential immunity customs,  and the call and or letter to the Ukrainian President screamed of quid pro quo and WAS, then the Georgia debacle , was with OBVIOUS intimidation, to the point where it is being looked into by Georgia prosecutors. But, not enough 'proof' for you huh... Cause correlations via a ridiculous amount of such mundane coincidences could NEVER prove anything to anyone, yet, just about everyone agrees that coincidental correlated evidence was used and compared to establish just about any and every thing today, that 90 +% of the worlds population, agree to be matters of fact( unless flat earther type) but they're just filled with a lot of Hot/Not Air)  to so so many, and sum hate the facts, and parse the wording which is like arfter hearing Trump say "Mexico is going to pay for that wall" while knowing NO WAY they would, but followers with minds so sm,all, bought it, bought it all, so i'd have to guess, you're one of the Trump targets that believe his bullship and it's sinking in, deeper and deeper. Reminds me of the fresh knives hanging out of Lady Liberty's backs, that can be traced back too fresh Trump trax, as they could have his dental records and as seen live on recorded TV, Trump shooting the tv, then  shooting one on 5th avenue,..... your reply would be wheres the proof, maybe his heart stopped a millisecond before bullet hit, so doesn't fit, must acquit , or something in that line of bullshit!

There is a reason character evidence is generally inadmissible at trial absent some exception. Being a dick isn't a crime. We punish based on relevant evidence that the accused did the specific thing he is accused of, and further, that such action is actually criminal.

In spite of all our protections, we still incarcerate way more of our own citizens than any other country. In spite of our high ideals, a huge number of our citizens are happy to throw the book at someone solely on the grounds that they don't like him.

There is plenty of evidence and proof in the 62 minute phone call.

But, but I’m just curious, why wouldn’t, why do you keep fighting this thing? It just doesn’t make sense. We’re way over the 17,779, right? We’re way over that number, and just if you took just (name), we’re over that number by five, five or six times when you multiply that times three.

Now if you're curious about who and what Trump is talking about, you can go read the transcript.

So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state. And flipping the state is a great testament to our country because, you know, this is -- it’s a testament that they can admit to a mistake or whatever you want to call it. If it was a mistake, I don’t know. A lot of people think it wasn’t a mistake. It was much more criminal than that. But it’s a big problem in Georgia, and it’s not a problem that’s going away. I mean, you know, it’s not a problem that’s going away...

Trump wants to 'find' 11,780 votes to flip the state from Biden to Trump.

Note that this phone call was AFTER the recounts, investigations and multiple court hearings. The above quotes are after Trump has been told multiple times that they investigated his allegations and that his data is WRONG.

Trump kept insisting that they audit Fulton County AGAIN [which they did and found NO fraud or misconduct]. Trump also blew off any and all of the findings from the investigations conducted by GBI that refuted his fabricated allegations.

It seems that once Trump gets a conspiracy theory stuck in his little pea brain, NO amount of empirical evidence will dislodge it. Unfortunately, all too many members here seem to have the same malady.

Suppose you just come clean and admit that you are alleging that finding votes is somehow criminal because what you really mean is that Trump wanted people to invent votes that weren't real.

Finding something that was legitimately lost is not criminal. But if you can convince people he didn't really mean for officials to find a lost thing, then you can take his actual words and pretend they meant something else. And then it's allegedly obvious to all who agree. You do this by putting a quote around the word. It's dishonest and you won't admit it.

Suppose you just come clean and admit that you are alleging that finding votes is somehow criminal because what you really mean is that Trump wanted people to invent votes that weren't real.

I clearly stated what I 'really mean'. Trump wanted to 'find' 11,780 votes to flip the state from Biden to Trump.

Finding something that was legitimately lost is not criminal.

I also stated clearly that Trump was informed that all of his allegations were bullshit. There were and are NO 'lost' votes. [Has the meaning of lost changed now too?]

But if you can convince people he didn't really mean for officials to find a lost thing, then you can take his actual words and pretend they meant something else. And then it's allegedly obvious to all who agree. You do this by putting a quote around the word.

Since nothing was 'lost' Trump couldn't have been using 'find' in that sense.

It's dishonest and you won't admit it.

unction of Apostrophe

By employing apostrophe in their literary works, writers try to bring abstract ideas or non-existent persons to life, so that the nature of emotions they want to communicate comes across in a better way. It is more convenient for readers to relate themselves to abstract emotions when they observe them in their natural surroundings. In addition, the use of apostrophe motivates readers to develop a   perspective   that is fresh, as well as creative.

Too funny, Trump doesn't want the RNC to use his name to raise money, he wants it sent to him, RNC says, nope we are going to use your name.

The fact that there are recordings, as there were when he admitted he delayed doing anything decisive about the virus because he didn't want people to panic, and they will be important because he cannot say he was misquoted, and his tone of voice will help to establish intimidation.  He is SO naive, a characteristic also exhibited by those who support him.  I can understand supporting conservative principles, and in fact I think some conservative principles are beneficial, but how can anyone support that buffoon?  My advice to Trump supporters:  It really IS possible to change horses in midstream - I did it and I'm not a deity, so can all of you.  You're mind isn't in jail so what is the porblem?  Is it like meth or heroin and you are so hooked it's impossible to cut yourselves free?  I truly feel sorry for you if you've encased your brains in concrete.

Me, too, Buzz. One conservative principle I like is limited government. That's not to day I don't like some regulations, like clean air and water, but I think some regulations are overreaching.

Trump supporters here are demanding "proof", saying allegations don't stand up in court, exactly the opposite of their ranting about election fraud and "stop the steal"....GOPers and their selective/short memories.

There are RICO cases against him now.  Very fitting.  He's been a gangster/grifter/thug/thief his whole life.
