Another Day of questions for the Biden Administration
‘You are opening up new facilities. You’re spending $86 million on hotel rooms for migrants. How do you square that with the National Guard troops who were sleeping in parking garages?” asked one reporter.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki faced real questions Monday beginning with why the Biden administration is allocating millions to provide migrants with hotel rooms while the National Guard was forced to rest on the concrete floor of DC parking garages.

‘You are opening up new facilities. You’re spending $86 million on hotel rooms for migrants. How do you square that with the National Guard troops who were sleeping in parking garages?” asked one reporter.

Psaki's answer:

“First, at the time when we became aware of the conditions for National Guard troops, the President called the head of the National Guard that day and offered his assistance!”

Is this the solution that the Biden administration has come up with for housing migrants?  Using tax payer dollars for Hotel rooms?  What about containing covid?

Three weeks ago Jen Psaki faced her toughest questioner on the cage issue:

Yesterday Biden's handlers put a lid on access to Joe Biden not long after 1PM and later photo's of migrant children in holding facilities were released by a democrat mayor.

Then we had the specter of vice president Harris cackling about visiting the border:

It's hard to believe that she is just one gust of wind away from becoming President....how terrifying.

My question remains the same: If you voted for him, is this what you voted for?

Trump and his supporters are off topic

Do we have to suffer the same question with every single 'article/opinion piece' about President Biden?

How so exactly?  Are you claiming that keeping illegal aliens from entering our country at will and demanding the countries of origin of those people do everything in their power to stop them, and then when those illegals that are caught are deported per the law was not what the President should be doing?

You're apparently praising President Biden inviting essentially everyone from around the globe to come and take residence in America if they are the least bit disillusioned with their home country or the conditions therein.

The only one lying is you to yourself.

CBP has found people from all around the globe illegally crossing.  Beyond Latin and South America, they have found people from Haiti, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Syria, to name a few.   Are those countries not from all around the globe?

And what the Trump administration did is not the topic.  Having said that, the children removed from adults at the border during the Trump administration were removed from people who were not relatives.  When the children don't know who the individual they were taken from I'll submit that actually saved the child from a very bad future.

Oh, and is it not malicious when a parent sends their child hundreds or thousands of miles from home and family with unknown adults to illegally enter the United States?  Isn't that in reality child abuse?

You live where Fly?  Somewhere FFFFAAAAARRRRRR from the southern border, right?  I betcha those of us who live down here are a lot more familiar and disgusted with " what's happening at the border".

Obviously you forget the threads/articles posted previously 'bout how the MEDIA overstated the total number of kids separated from their parents and that ACTUAL number was 545.

The parents of 545 children separated at the border still haven’t been found

About two-thirds of the parents are believed to be somewhere in Central America.

Months before the Trump administration rolled out its “zero-tolerance” policy on the U.S.-Mexico border, hundreds of migrant children were already being separated from their families with little fanfare. As those children were shuttled around the country in late 2017, their parents were swiftly detained or deported, with few records taken by the government about where they went or how to contact them.

It was only in 2019, after a federal judge ordered officials to hand their names over to immigration lawyers, that the American Civil Liberties Union and other groups tried in earnest to begin reuniting them.

On Tuesday, those lawyers submitted a court filing with a grim update: They have not yet been able to reach the parents of 545 separated children. About two-thirds of those parents are believed to be somewhere in Central America — without their children. Of the parents of 545 separated children who have not yet been contacted, lawyers expect 75 will be reachable by phone. Another 187 have been found but not reached successfully, and 283 have not been found entirely.

And, why are those parents in Central America???  Because they sent their kids/children UNACCOMPANIED to cross the border ILLEGALLY .

Really, I'm not trying to be rude or crude - just trying to get some ACTUAL facts out there for all to see.

Nope, I, for one, am in favor of kickin' all their azzes back across the border and making them use the existing legal immigration entry processes as have millions upon millions of immigrants have done for over 129 years (Ellis Island conducted the first immigration process in 1892).

Is that so hard - following the law????  Why is that such an issue??

Do you run all the red lights?  Do you intentionally go on a robbing spree?  Do you intentionally go on a damaging spree in your neighborhood?  Do you borrow cars from a car dealership and not pay for them?  Do you manufacture poor products and, when they fail, deny plausibility?

No you don't - you follow the applicable laws - something the Illegal Alien community just doesn't understand or want to do.

You cross the U.S. border illegally, you get your azz kicked back to where you came from - simple - pure and simple.

I told my wife the other day that we should revert to medieval era tactics.

Build a new ride at the border and call it the "CATAPAULT HOME".  Free admission and multiple people can ride at once.

They could get a free ride, a great view of the river as they cross and know that they would have no fear of drowning or being swept away with any current.

The truth is this issue will exist until the US Congress comes to agreement on a comprehensive immigration system.

By the way

"As we always knew, California and American elections are filled with fraud and corruption. Thanks to a new poll, we now know that approximately 13% of illegal aliens vote. Since they are already criminals, stealing ID’s or using phony ID’s. lie to get welfare, steal jobs—why not vote as they to lose. Since they can not be deported or jailed, they have nothing to lose. Obama is protecting these law breakers.

Could this be why real citizens don’t vote—the illegal aliens outvote them? Worse, in close elections illegal aliens can make the difference. Corruption? Look at the ballot box. In fact, they could have elected a President and Senator!

“Since 80 percent of noncitizens vote Democratic, according to the study, noncitizen participation could have “been large enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes [in North Carolina in 2008], and Congressional elections” such as the 2008 race in Minnesota in which Al Franken was elected to the U.S. Senate, giving “Senate Democrats the pivotal 60 th   vote” to pass Obamacare. The Old Dominion/George Mason study was sharply attacked by progressive critics, but the mounting evidence makes clear this is a real problem.”

The fantasy is House Resolution 1 which was passed in the House of Representatives.  A portion of that bill is;

So what's actually in the bill?

H.R. 1 would require states to automatically register eligible voters, as well as offer same-day registration. It would limit states' ability to purge registered voters from their rolls and restore former felons' voting rights. Among dozens of other provisions, it would also require states to offer 15 days of early voting and allow no-excuse absentee balloting.

All eligible voters essentially equates to anyone that applies since election authorities are not permitted to ask for identification or validation of who the applicant is.  They simply have to take the applicants word for it and accept that the person who stands before them that is claiming to be Hunter Biden, or Eric Trump, or Benitto Mussolini, or Adolph Hitler is who they claim to be. And then that individual can go to the next polling place and do the same thing, over and over again.

Are we not sophisticated enough to require a photo ID for voting much the same as Mexico and other nations?

Beyond the admission, the simple fact that illegal migrants get counted as residents alters elections. By way of their huge numbers the illegal aliens can dramatically alter the Electoral College to favor Democrats for at least a decade because a state’s electoral votes are based on the number of people residing within that state.

It's a great game the democrats are playing.

But it isn’t a partisan issue that every person is to be counted. That is defined in the Constitution as a requirement of the census. Hence the totally partisan effort to enact more stringent voting laws across the country.

One has nothing to do with the other.  The census counts people, which can potentially affect the representative numbers in congress.  Strengthening voting laws to ensure only eligible people vote is another topic entirely.

Trying to morph the two into one topic is disingenuous.

How disconnected from reality is your statement?

Everyone gets counted; but you must be a legal US citizen of the correct age to vote!

Only Democrats are against common sense voting laws such as voter ID, advanced registration, and not allowing convicted criminals to vote.

Maybe it is time to amend the Constitution so that only US citizens are counted in the census. That will stop the sanctuary states from trying to bring in ever more illegal immigrants. It will also deprive Democrats of several seats in the House and electoral college; thus removing their incentive for an open border.

Correct and that is another reason to keep the border secure.

The gop may not be willing to adapt their policies to meet the inevitable demographic shifts, but they can do the math.

Demographic shifts?  Caused by inviting illegal immigration and promised amnesty? Maybe the GOP can deal with it by granting every illegal alien a guaranteed income for life. That ought to turn the entire west red. I'd be all for it for it would be poetic justice. The question for you is - Is that a democracy or a Republic?

This was during the transition.  National Guard was stationed there, under Trump, until after the inauguration.

Not quite.  They were mistreated post inauguration.

If you're a non-believer, take it up with none other than Snopes:

Were National Guard Soldiers Forced To Sleep in a Parking Garage?

Hundreds of members of the National Guard were made to vacate the U.S. Capitol and sent to rest in a nearby parking garage, while providing security around U.S. President Joe Biden's inauguration.

Not quite.  They were mistreated post inauguration.

All arrangements were made pre-inauguration.  National Guard was in place when Biden became POTUS.  Are you claiming he changed orders and made them stay in a garage as his first action as POTUS?  Or were the logistics setup weeks in advance?

"They were mistreated post inauguration."

No, they weren't.

So 'being mistreated' means being forced to sleep in parking garages?????????????

Heaven forbid - the National Guard had to sleep in parking garages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't hear them whining and pissing and moaning and bitching and complaining about it.

They’re trying to pretend nothing is happening at the border. It’s why no one is going down there and it’s why there is a media blackout.

Some Bidenites are trying to pretend, no actually deny what they know is happening with lies.

It’s why no one is going down there and it’s why there is a media blackout.

While there is an official blackout, the wall is breaking down.  Hell, even the main stream media is finally admitting the problem, especially when a Democrat Congressman goes and provides pictures of the people in cages that the administration is trying desperately to hide.

The malfeasance of the current administration is becoming clear to anyone with an ability to think independently.

It’s a disgrace that they weren’t all instantly and universally outraged. I would be embarrassed to be a professional journalist who wasn’t bothered by the government shutting the media out of something they have always had access to.

It’s a disgrace that they weren’t all instantly and universally outraged.

With the exception of yesterday's mass shooting, it's been the top story (at least at ABC World News that I watch) for an for the same period of time we've been talking about it here. They keep hammering on the media blackout and the time it's taking to move kids from induction centers to NIH. I keep hearing the word "crisis" from them too... Weird they aren't taking it seriously. /s

It must be quite tiresome for the 'conservatives' and today's gqp to be 'instantly and universally outraged' at all times

Not at all times. Just when government craps all over the 1st Amendment and concepts of accountability with media blackouts. But if you don’t care about that, that’s your choice I guess.

If you want to talk about being outraged at all time, just look at the last four years.

Where's AOC?

She could sure put on a big production crying over an empty road. You'd think this might bother her, a little.
