The credibility of the whistle blower is irrelevant.  The Donald is a "water-head".  Trump keeps supplying evidence that will be used in the Articles of Impeachment.  Trump is so stupid that he may not realize that some of his recent statements are actually "confessions" of his criminal conduct.

Yesterday, on the White House lawn, President Trump pointed another smoking gun at the press.  He publicly requested that China investigate the Democratic front runner in the up coming election.  CNN has provided some details of Trump's latest request:

Trump raised Biden with Xi in June call housed in highly secure server

By Kylie Atwood , Kevin Liptak , Pamela Brown , Jim Sciutto and Gloria Borger , CNN

Updated 10:30 PM ET, Thu October 3, 2019

Washington (CNN)When President Donald Trump suggested — without prompting — that China should investigate Joe Biden and his son, he thrust another political grudge into what was already the world's most complicated and consequential relationship.

The move startled Chinese officials, who say they have little interest in becoming embroiled in a US political controversy. And it amounted to the latest extraordinary effort by Trump to openly request political assistance from foreign governments.

Thursday's comments weren't the first time Trump has injected Biden into his relationship with China, though he said Thursday he has never pushed Xi to investigate the former vice president. Nor is it the first time he has sought to trade favors with Xi, who this week celebrated the 70th birthday of his communist state with a note of congratulations from Trump.

During a phone call with Xi on June 18, Trump raised Biden's political prospects as well as those of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who by then had started rising in the polls, according to two people familiar with the discussion. In that call, Trump also told Xi he would remain quiet on Hong Kong protests as trade talks progressed.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/03/politics/trump-biden-call-xi-secure-server/index.html

Trump's call to Xi, like Trump's Ukrainian call, was also placed on the most secure server available because White House officials determined that this request is illegal and the call needed to be "covered-up".  Any request to a foreigner (or a foreign government) for help in an election is illegal.

FEC chairwoman appears to subtweet Trump over the illegality of accepting foreign help in election

Savannah Behrmann , USA TODAY Published 3:43 p.m. ET Oct. 3, 2019

WASHINGTON— The head of the Federal Election Commission reminded candidates that asking for help from foreign governments is illegal in an apparent subtweet of President Donald Trump

Ellen Weintraub's tweet came after  Trump exclaimed that China should investigate former vice president Joe Biden , despite already being in the middle of an impeachment inquiry after asking Ukraine for the same thing.

"By the way, likewise, China should start an investigation into the Biden's because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine," Trump told reporters on the White House South Lawn Thursday.

Did you hear the fucking idiot in chief talking about Pompeo?  About how Schiff couldn't hold his 'blank'  strap?

President Trump blasted House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for his criticism of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday, saying Schiff isn't worthy to carry Pompeo’s "blank strap."

"We don’t call him 'Shifty Schiff' for nothing, he’s a shifty, dishonest guy, who by the way, was critical of one of the great secretaries of states, graduated No. 1 in his class at West Point, graduated one of the top in his class at Harvard Law School — the most honorable person," Trump told reporters during a photo-op with the President of Finland at the White House.

Trump continued: "You know, there's an expression, [Schiff] couldn't carry [Pompeo’s] ‘blank’ strap, I won't say it because they'll say it was so terrible to say, but that guy couldn't carry his ‘blank’ strap, do you understand that?"

That's about the only thing Trump has said lately that makes sense.

Since Pompeo has no balls, he doesn't have a jock strap.  Since it doesn't exist, it can't be "held" by anyone  (including Schiff).

Obama created 12 million jobs.

Considering the US was recovering from a recession he should have created more.

Brought the stock market to record highs.

Obama presided over the slowest economic recovery from recession on record. Period. As for stock market highs- eclipsed by Trump's market highs.

Got 17 million health care insurance

Gave the insurance industry 17 million more captive souls that are forced to buy their product with no cost controls in place. The insurance industry can't thank Obama enough. The rest of us- not so much.

And saved the American auto industry

Lost tax payers billions on the bail out; screwed the lenders and vendors that worked with GM, and awarded his great UAW buddies something they had no right to in controlling interest in GM. How is that working out by the way? UAW on strike now trying to force the same concessions from GM that drove it under in the first place.

That may be true butt TARP was a GW Bush program.

The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 , often called the "bank bailout of 2008," was proposed by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson , passed by the 110th United States Congress , and signed into law by President George W. Bush . The act became law as part of Public Law 110-343 on October 3, 2008, in the midst of the financial crisis of 2007–2008 . The law created the Troubled Asset Relief Program to purchase distressed assets from financial institutions.

The sufferers of TDS genuinely worship Trump, I've come to realize. Their psyches cannot handle the thought of their orange god being less than perfect, so they refuse to believe anything negative about him, even if it's something he himself has admitted. If they do have to realize that he actually did something, they excuse it - all while being huge hypocrites and also falling for any conspiracy theory that keeps their little brains from shorting out. Not that there could be too many brain cells involved, for them to constantly fall for conspiracy theories and be seemingly unable to understand what facts and reality are - their god tells them not to believe what they see and hear, but to believe his lies instead ... and voila, that's exactly what they do.

They don't care a bit about their country; their lack of patriotism is despicable and pathetic, as is their idol. I'm not even sure they care about their party, because if they did, they'd be supporting a rational, capable GOP candidate for the 2020 election. Idolatry is never a good thing, especially when your idol is as massively flawed and immoral as Trump.

I never really thought they'd go so far as to support treason, however. Even I am shocked by that.

Even burning the American Flag is legal (protected by the 1st Amendment).

Butt I smile when I read stuff like this:

FLAG-BURNING RETALIATION MAY COME CHEAP

Martin Zabell CHICAGO TRIBUNE

With flag fever spreading throughout the U.S., trustees in southwest suburban Romeoville have come up with a radical way to protect Old Glory.

They unanimously passed a resolution Wednesday that, in essence, sanctions violence against flag defacers: Anyone convicted of assaulting a flag burner could be fined just $1.

The American Civil Liberties Union said there would almost certainly be a court challenge if a flag burner were beaten up in Romeoville.

Burning a flag is actually proper disposal.

True.

Butt there are other options:

There are many ways to properly dispose of an American flag, including:

Ceremonial Flag Burning

Before you gasp at the thought (as I did before I read on in my research on this topic) According to Wikipedia, this method of burning is in no way haphazard or unpatriotic, rather it requires a specific ceremony, where the flag is folded (correctly,) laid on a bonfire and burned patriotically; while being saluted, or having someone at the burning ceremony recite the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the National Anthem.

This process is used mainly for individuals retiring their personal flags, at home. But what if you don’t feel comfortable burning your flag on your own? What if you don’t know how to properly fold a flag? (You can find that out here by the way) Or more logically…what if you simply can’t build a fire on your property? Another option is…

Flag Burial

To bury the flag, begin by finding a dignified wooden box – it should be of good quality and construction, as this box will serve as the flag’s vessel as it is interred in the ground.

Fold the flag correctly and respectfully, place it in the box and then bury it in the ground.

You may even consider giving a your flag short “funeral”. Give a speech on the importance of the flag then stand at attention as the flag is lowered into the ground. Observe a moment of silence as the flag is buried. You may even choose to mark the burial location with a small, patriotic marker.

Flag Shredding

You may also shred your flag. Shredding an American flag may seem violent but the US Army’s Heraldry institute assures that shredding is an acceptable disposal method, provided it is done with reverence.

Use a sharp scissors to slowly and accurately separate the thirteen stripes, leaving the blue star-spangled field intact.

After the flag is cut into pieces, place it in a respectful receptacle and bury it following the above procedures or ceremoniously burn the pieces one by one, starting with the stripes and ending with the blue field.

Flag Recycling

When the code for American Flag disposal was written, almost all flags were made of cloth or other natural fabrics. But today many flags are made from nylon, polyester, or artificial materials.

When burned, these modern materials produce toxic fumes that are harmful to the environment and your health. Be sure to check the material of your flag before you make the choice between burning or recycling.

Many Non Profit and Private organizations have been formed to recycle flags. Contact a group like American Flag Recycling or contact your local landfill or recycling processor for more information.

Give Your Flag to A Qualified Orginization

Specific United States government organizations offer services to conduct the ceremony to properly dispose of flags for no charge, upon request.

The American Legion , Veterans of Foreign Wars , Boy and Girl Scouts of America and the US Military all provide this service. If you don’t have access to any of these organizations, contact your city hall or local government.

 "Nope, that's assault."

I know, I just came up with that to make a point, even vandals painting a swastika on a synagogue is probably illegal.

I didn't think burning the flag out of disgust and anger was considered proper disposal of a flag.  I think the rules apply to proper disposal.

From your quoted rules:

"...method of burning is in no way haphazard or unpatriotic, rather it requires a specific ceremony, where the flag is folded (correctly,) laid on a bonfire and burned patriotically..."

There can be social unrest. Imo the government has a role in laws, justice, ways of settling disputes. Even down to the local police force.

Change does not come from sitting on the bus where one is told.

I know a guy that collects unwanted flags, flags for disposal. He has bins set up at places like Sams club.

What he does is go through them and pick out any decent ones and give/donate them to someone that might want one. The rest they burn in a barrel.

Ah, that was an interesting allegory.  I recall when I was 16 years old and was in Miami for Christmas Vacation, I got on a bus and sat at the back where I always liked to sit on buses, and the driver turned around and told me to sit at the front.  I refused, and he said he won't start the bus unless I come to the front, and since there were a lot of people on the bus looking at me I complied.  Of course that was a long time ago.

What I'm trying to say is why take it out on symbols of your country and disparaging the country you live in?  Hey, what has the Shenandoah Valley and the Catskill Mountains done to you?  Surely there are more accurate ways to protest your government.  Peaceful protests are valid forms, but not rioting and damaging private property and looting stores, but writing letters to the editors, forming rallies, posting ads, bulletin boards, etc. make sense, and in your case, elections are the way to change things.

Property damage is a crime.

Peaceful protests (and writing letters to the editors, forming rallies, posting ads, bulletin boards, etc.) are covered by the First Amendment.  In the video below, the cop committed a crime.

I never really thought they'd go so far as to support treason, however. Even I am shocked by that.

Sad, isn't it. And Trump is one treasonous POS. He thrives on chaos and his supporters give it to him.

I cannot begin to tell you how many friends who have served our country have gotten irate at Trump's insistence that kneeling football players be fired. They are all of the notion that they joined the military and all that it entails in order to protect the right of peaceful protest. That's what America is all about. We should not have an autocrat for a president. They joined to keep America safe from autocrats, despots and tyrants. And that's what we have in office now. An impossibly insecure and unforthcoming POS.

it's now a moat point

I remember when we joked about Trump's wall being electrified with a moat full of alligators at its base.

Alligators in the desert An absurd reckoning of Donald Trump’s border moat

The president wants his barrier to be as menacing as possible.

T he president frequently boasts that his Mexican border wall will be beautiful. “Border Wars: Inside Trump’s Assault on Immigration”, a new book by two journalists from the New York Times, suggests it will be menacing, too. The authors claim that Mr Trump asked his advisers about including a moat, infested with snakes or alligators. Aides have reportedly looked into the cost of such a deterrent.

As it turns out Trump is the fucking joke.  But I still like the Monte Python solution:

I fart in your general direction

That's one of those amusing gentle insults. Another one is one I overheard: 'Jellyfish have survived a million years without brains or hearts. That should make some on the right feel better.'

Jellyfish do not have brains. They don’t have a heart either. But jellyfish do have a very basic set of nerves at the base of their tentacles. These nerves detect touch, temperature, salinity etc.

The idiot actually believes he can pardon himself.

Sure he can say "pardon me" when he farts (butt it still stinks).

Even if Trump receives a "Ford/Nixon type blanket pardon" from Pence, he will still face state charges in NY.

So, yeah:  LOCK HIM UP!

Butt, even though Trump has publicly confessed to soliciting help from foreigners (and, of course, foreign governments) there is a lot of whistling surrounding The Donald.

This is what D.C. sounds like now:

I think Trumplethinskin should keep talking and tweeting. He's putting the White House in a box for the left-leaners. I understand Giuliani is out of country looking for a big bow to wrap it up.

Thank you, Trumplethinskin. Keep talking. Keep melting down. Since some right leaners support you, you won't be able to keep your lyin' traitorous trap shut. Thank you. One of the funniest moments in the last few days:

And the dumb fucks are going to fall for it like they do every single time for this schmuck. He sells them plastic straws, he sells them foam bricks, and now he wants to sell them another t-shirt. He calls his supporters idiots every day in some form or fashion and they don't get it. Oh. My. Gawd. What a bunch of suckers. And where's the money going? Straight into the Traitor-In-Chief's coffers. He's actually charging them for their stupidity.

Trump also proposed a new T-shirt to be sold by his campaign that would read, "Where's Hunter?" That was an apparent reference to Hunter Biden's lack of public appearances as his business dealings come under greater scrutiny.
"Let's do another t-shirt: Where's Hunter?" Trump said, prompting applause from the crowd.

Suckers. They deserve to be fleeced by the traitor.
