Thank you President Trump for your appearance to honor fire fighters, first responders, and the police on the 20th anniversary of 9-11-01 Islamic terrorist stacks. Well done. A great morale booster and it puts the lie to the liberals claims he did nothing to commemorate this day.

On the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, former President Donald J. Trump made a surprise visit to FDNY firefighters and NYPD officers in New York City to honor them for their dedication, service, and heroism.

Trump also posed with firefighters and NYPD officers.

Donald Trump also spoke to the NYPD and the FDNY.

There was more video taken of Trump’s surprise visit.

The former president was greeted with loud applause and cheering as he paid tribute to New York City officers and firefighters. Donald Trump earlier issued a video statement on the “sad day”:

President Biden, meanwhile, appeared with former presidents and other political figures attending a ceremony at ground zero in New York City for the 9/11 anniversary.

President Biden joined former president Obama, former first lady Michelle Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg at the Ground Zero ceremony.

Biden also appeared to give some kind of ‘shout out’ at the solemn ceremony. The Biden then left to honor those who gave their lives defending America on Flight 93.

“The president and first lady left the memorial just before 10 a.m. to travel to Shanksville to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony commemorating those who died on Flight 93,” the Hill reported.

President Biden did not deliver formal remarks on the solem occasion. He did, however, deliver a video statement on the 9/11 attacks that blamed Americans for ‘Islamophobia.’

“We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” Biden said.

The often-predicted surge in ‘hate crimes’ against Muslims turned out to be much less of a problem than Islamic terrorism actually killed Americans after the September 11 attacks. President Biden, for his part, presided over the worst foreign policy debacle in U.S. military history with his Afghan withdrawal.

As the Taliban took over in Afghanistan, the president stranded hundreds of Americans in the country in harm’s way. Islamic terrorists – from ISIS-K to al Qaeda – have now overrun the country. The Taliban raised their flag over the Afghan capitol building on the anniversary of 9/11.

While President Biden may have been at Ground Zero on 9/11, his policies have put America’s counter-terrorism efforts back to ground zero.

They were specifically not invited, remember?

Even though Biden ordered the 911 investigations unsealed 8 days ago

he also told DoJ to come up with a plan to release it in a certain order over time.

That wasn't good enough for the families of the victims, FDNY, NYPD, Port Authority and others who have been asking and suing for the records to be released for 20 years.

It's not supposed to be a photo op for politics.

It's supposed to be a day to reflect on what and who we lost that day.

Comment 2.3.3 exemplifies the Trumpist-Fascist intent to promote political violence in America.

The final sentence in the comment, with the phony claim regarding "peaceful passive civil resistance", is a propaganda technique designed to distract from their true goal of inciting violence.  Consider that within the last few days, the same commentator has posted comments calling for a "flood" of guns, including semi-automatic weapon, and mass murder high capacity ammunition magazines into the general population.

I have no intention of ever committing a violent act in my life.  There are things though that I believe strongly enough about that I might not willingly comply with doing, using passive peaceful non violent non compliance to the point that only literal force would gain involuntary coerced compliance as long as and only when said force is present.  Progressives are never going to politically impose their beliefs and ideas upon conservatives in conservative areas.  No more than conservatives are going to go into urban areas and try to impose our ideas there.  The difference is that we aren’t willing to resort to force to make others comply.  Progressives are.  As to flooding the market with guns that’s a mission already accomplished.  All conservatives have to do is passively hold onto bury, hide, report as stolen what we have.  The only force on that issue will come from the grabbers.  We will not live in our areas like the urban cities do.  Thats not happening.  We need no force to not comply.  Progressives will need it to gain compliance because we will use peaceful, non violent, passive resistance and civil disobedience to the point progressives back off and let us live and let live in our areas or they go full 437 River St. to compel compliance by coercion.

Former President Bush would disagree with you:

'Children of the same foul spirit.' George W. Bush compares violent domestic extremists to 9/11 terrorists

Former President George W. Bush compared domestic and foreign extremists Saturday, seeming to liken the insurrectionists who attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 to the 9/11 hijackers and calling on Americans to confront the growing threats from both groups.

“There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home,” Bush said during a speech at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. “But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit.”

His remarks Saturday marked 20 years since the 9/11 attacks, when United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field after passengers fought against the plane’s hijackers, causing it to miss its intended target in Washington, D.C. “It is our continuing duty to confront them,”Bush added.

There is a very good case to be made that American leadership at all levels, and the American public's insistence on neutrality

made it easy for the Japanese treachery.  As usual there were scapegoats like Pearl's commanding Naval and Army officers.

But the seeds of Japan's treachery were in the oil embargo,

tariffs and trade issues of the time and the Cabinets underestimation of japan and their cultural ignorance of Japan.

Well we were doing our best at the time to ignore Manchuria, China and Korea (1937),  Austria (1938),

Czechoslovakia (1939), Poland (1939) followed by a Russo-German treaty, the invasion of Denmark and Norway(1939).

The Blitzkrieg across France and Holland resulting in Dunkirk (1940), the French surrender, the Italians joining the Axis

and the Battle of Britain (still 1940).

Britain invades North Africa and routes the Italians (1940) Italy & Germany attack Yugoslavia (1940)

June 1941, Hitler attacks ally Russia.

So yeah, American leadership was distracted,

we ignored our own new radar warnings and

we were lined up in dress whites on battleships decks while the band played and the flag was being raised,

as the first bombs hit the fleet.

Complete and utter surprise. A complete and utter failure of intelligence, leadership and communications.

We eventually pulled our troops out of Kurd controlled regions of Syria and invited Turkey to come in and kill them.

No surprise there.  Here is another account of our great former and future President in New York City.

Trump pays tribute to 9/11 during visit to New York police precinct, hints at 2024 run

The former president, a New York native, spoke briefly before a group of NYPD officers on Sept. 11

Former President Trump on Saturday hinted that he might run for president again in 2024 during a visit on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 to the New York Police Department's (NYPD) 17th precinct.

The former president, a New York native, spoke briefly about the Sept. 11, 2001 , attack on the World Trade Center, the recent Afghanistan withdrawal and took questions from the police officers.

Trump called the 20th anniversary of 9/11 a "very sad day for a lot of reasons," referring to both the attack and the botched withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan in recent weeks, and praised the brave NYPD officers.

"I grew up with you and you are New York's finest. You're incredible people. I know many of you," said Trump.

The former president also called Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan "gross incompetence" and criticized other aspects of the U.S. withdrawal.

When asked by a NYPC officer whether he'd run for president a second time, Trump responded, "That's a tough question."

"Actually, for me, it's an easy question. I mean, I know what I'm going to do, but I'm not supposed to be talking about it yet from the standpoint of campaign finance laws, which, frankly, are ridiculous," said Trump.

"But I think you're going to be happy," the former president said.

Trump went on to tout the economy, national jobs numbers, regulatory rollbacks and increased financing for the military under his administration. He also suggested that his administration was "getting along with the other side" while he was in office.

The House of Representatives made history in January when members of Congress voted for the second time to impeach Trump a week after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and days before President Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.

The former president and his allies have previously implied that he will run again in 2024.

Do you think a guy who hasn't conceded defeat yet, keeps pushing the lie about a stolen election

and has multiple PACs that have raised $102M under Trump2024SuperPAC & TrumpGreatAmericaPAC

would run for mayor of NYC in 2025?

Run for Mayor?  No. I don't think any former president would do that. I don't know what it has to do with John's claim that he's running for Presient, but thanks for the interest.

Watch: Joe Biden Stuns Onlookers During Jill Biden’s Speech by Appearing to Wander Off Aimlessly

by Kyle Becker about 12 hours ago updated about 6 hours ago

Screenshot-9_11_2021-9_07_11-AM-758x391.jpghttps://trendingpolitics.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Screenshot-9_11_2021-9_07_11-AM-300x155.jpg 300w, 768w, 561w, 364w, 728w, 608w, 93w, 186w, 823w" sizes="(max-width: 758px) 100vw, 758px" >

President Joe Biden appeared to suddenly wander off during an event with First Lady Jill Biden at a D.C. area school on Friday.

During Jill Biden’s speech at Brookland Middle School, Joe left right in the middle of her addressing guests in the audience. Watch:

Jill Biden appears to abruptly look back at Joe and then gave an awkward hand raise. It’s hard to tell if this means he was dismissed or if he mistook it as her waving goodbye. In any event, Biden’s departure was extremely awkward, to say the least.

This isn’t the first time recently that Joe Biden has appeared to have wandered around or gotten lost. In Louisiana earlier this month, Biden got lost as he took a tour of the hurricane-struck state. The episode occurred after delivering his remarks on Hurricane Ida’s extensive damage to the state.

“Folks, Hurricane Ida is another reminder that we need to be prepared for the next hurricane,” Biden said. “And superstorms are going to come and they’re going to come more frequently and more ferociously.”

Then he addressed that thousands of Louisianans who were still without power.

“You’ve got to be frustrated about the restoration of power,” he said, “and I understand.”

What Biden didn’t seem to understand, however, is where he was supposed to go and what he was supposed to do after the speaking event.

“This way, sir,” a staffer tries to direct him. Biden completely disregards him and continues to wander in the opposite direction.

“Biden ignores a staffer, keeps on walking in the wrong direction,” Twitter commentator Jewish Deplorable pointed out .

In June at the G-7 summit, Biden responded to a question from a reporter about how he believed the G-7 talks were going. As he appeared to be wandering aimlessly, his wife Jill Biden came to his rescue.

Much like America, Biden seems to be lost. Being without a president who has any clue what he is doing couldn’t come at a worse time for the country.

Biden probably thought someone was offering him free ice cream. Unfortunately it was just one of his handlers desperately motioning to stand still. Biden was promised ice cream later if he went back and stood still until his wife finished her speech. No one is certain if Sleepy China Joe ever got his ice cream reward.

President Biden did not deliver formal remarks on the solem occasion. He did, however, deliver a video statement on the 9/11 attacks that blamed Americans for ‘Islamophobia.’ “We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” Biden said.

What partisan BS. That was only part of his speech:

Did anti Muslim feelings exist at that time?

And how is that different from what President Bush said?

Thank you very much. Laura and I are honored to be with you. Madam Vice President, Vice President Cheney. Governor Wolf, Secretary Haaland, and distinguished guests:

Twenty years ago, we all found -- in different ways, in different places, but all at the same moment -- that our lives would be changed forever. The world was loud with carnage and sirens, and then quiet with missing voices that would never be heard again. These lives remain precious to our country, and infinitely precious to many of you. Today we remember your loss, we share your sorrow, and we honor the men and women you have loved so long and so well.
For those too young to recall that clear September day, it is hard to describe the mix of feelings we experienced. There was horror at the scale -- there was horror at the scale of destruction, and awe at the bravery and kindness that rose to meet it. There was shock at the audacity -- audacity of evil -- and gratitude for the heroism and decency that opposed it. In the sacrifice of the first responders, in the mutual aid of strangers, in the solidarity of grief and grace, the actions of an enemy revealed the spirit of a people. And we were proud of our wounded nation.
In these memories, the passengers and crew of Flight 93 must always have an honored place. Here the intended targets became the instruments of rescue. And many who are now alive owe a vast, unconscious debt to the defiance displayed in the skies above this field.
It would be a mistake to idealize the experience of those terrible events. All that many people could initially see was the brute randomness of death. All that many could feel was unearned suffering. All that many could hear was God's terrible silence. There are many who still struggle with a lonely pain that cuts deep within.
In those fateful hours, we learned other lessons as well. We saw that Americans were vulnerable, but not fragile -- that they possess a core of strength that survives the worst that life can bring. We learned that bravery is more common than we imagined, emerging with sudden splendor in the face of death. We vividly felt how every hour with our loved ones was a temporary and holy gift. And we found that even the longest days end.
Many of us have tried to make spiritual sense of these events. There is no simple explanation for the mix of providence and human will that sets the direction of our lives. But comfort can come from a different sort of knowledge. After wandering long and lost in the dark, many have found they were actually walking, step by step, toward grace.

As a nation, our adjustments have been profound. Many Americans struggled to understand why an enemy would hate us with such zeal. The security measures incorporated into our lives are both sources of comfort and reminders of our vulnerability. And we have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within. There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit. And it is our continuing duty to confront them.
After 9/11, millions of brave Americans stepped forward and volunteered to serve in the Armed Forces. The military measures taken over the last 20 years to pursue dangers at their source have led to debate. But one thing is certain: We owe an assurance to all who have fought our nation's most recent battles. Let me speak directly to veterans and people in uniform: The cause you pursued at the call of duty is the noblest America has to offer. You have shielded your fellow citizens from danger. You have defended the beliefs of your country and advanced the rights of the downtrodden. You have been the face of hope and mercy in dark places. You have been a force for good in the world. Nothing that has followed -- nothing -- can tarnish your honor or diminish your accomplishments. To you, and to the honored dead, our country is forever grateful.
In the weeks and months following the 9/11 attacks, I was proud to lead an amazing, resilient, united people. When it comes to the unity of America, those days seem distant from our own. A malign force seems at work in our common life that turns every disagreement into an argument, and every argument into a clash of cultures. So much of our politics has become a naked appeal to anger, fear, and resentment. That leaves us worried about our nation and our future together.
I come without explanations or solutions. I can only tell you what I have seen.
On America's day of trial and grief, I saw millions of people instinctively grab for a neighbor's hand and rally to the cause of one another. That is the America I know.
At a time when religious bigotry might have flowed freely, I saw Americans reject prejudice and embrace people of Muslim faith. That is the nation I know.
At a time when nativism could have stirred hatred and violence against people perceived as outsiders, I saw Americans reaffirm their welcome to immigrants and refugees. That is the nation I know.
At a time when some viewed the rising generation as individualistic and decadent, I saw young people embrace an ethic of service and rise to selfless action. That is the nation I know.
This is not mere nostalgia; it is the truest version of ourselves. It is what we have been -- and what we can be again.
Twenty years ago, terrorists chose a random group of Americans, on a routine flight, to be collateral damage in a spectacular act of terror. The 33 passengers and 7 crew of Flight 93 could have been any group of citizens selected by fate. In a sense, they stood in for us all.
The terrorists soon discovered that a random group of Americans is an exceptional group of people. Facing an impossible circumstance, they comforted their loved ones by phone, braced each other for action, and defeated the designs of evil.
These Americans were brave, strong, and united in ways that shocked the terrorists -- but should not surprise any of us. This is the nation we know. And whenever we need hope and inspiration, we can look to the skies and remember.
God bless.
All these words from both men are right. They are from two different parties, yet they see things as they are.

The better Presidents remarks…

Former President Donald Trump released a video honoring the Americans who died on 9/11 on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks, while also slamming President Biden’ s handling of the U.S.’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

"This is a very sad day. September 11 represents great sorrow for our country. Many things were displayed that day, including most importantly the bravery of our police, fire and first responders of every kind. The job they did was truly unbelievable. We love them and we thank them," Trump said in a video message Saturday

The former president then launched into an attack on Biden, who "was made to look like a fool" during the U.S.’s withdrawal from Afghanistan last month"

It is also a sad time for the way our war on those that did such harm to our country ended last week. The loss of 13 great warriors and the many more who were wounded, should never have happened," Trump said, referring to the U.S. 13 service members who were killed in Kabul on Aug. 26.

"We had $85 billion of the finest and most sophisticated military equipment, taken from us without even a shot being fired. The leader of our country was made to look like a fool."

Trump went on to say that the Biden administration implemented "bad planning" and "incredible weakness" during the withdrawal because leaders "truly didn't understand what was happening."

"This is the 20th year of this war, and should have been a year of victory and honor, and strength. Instead, Joe Biden and his inept administration surrendered in defeat. We will live on, but sadly our country will be wounded for a long period of time. We will struggle to recover from the embarrassment this incompetence has caused. Do not fear, however, America will be made great again," he concluded.

His message comes as the Biden administration continues to come under fierce criticism for its foreign policies, including after a new report on Friday suggested a drone strike against a suspected terrorist in Afghanistan during the withdrawal from Kabul may have actually killed a man who was not a threat to the United States…

Trumpist-Fascists are delusional if they actually believe that they represent anything more than a small, disgraced minority of the American people.  Their desire to "inflict" Trumpist-Fascism on America has already been massively rejected by the vast majority of Americans and any attempt to do likewise in the future will meet the same fate.  They will undoubtedly attempt to carry out another violent insurrection to "inflict" Trumpist-Fascism on America, but they will NEVER succeed.
