Too long for a post?  Probably. Lol   So I’m  seeding  it as an article for now.

Part one:  By: 321Steve

Trump was impeached charged with incitement of a Inserection. The capitol as we all know was attacked by a mob of trump supporters so...

                What really did trump intend?

.......................................................................................

Trump's  intentions?

What were Trump's  intentions? No one knows for sure but Trump himself.

But, we can look backwards from what happened to see that President Trump had thought about being president for a long time before he won.

Nothing wrong with that for sure but his life does show a lot of dedication, time, effort and money spent to achieve the position of President of the United States of America.

So,  its little doubt he was not too  enthusiastic  about giving that position of great power up.

IMO: I'd say trump did about everything he could think of to retain power.   I see no stones left unturned.

During and after  exhausting  every legal avenue to hold power ....

Trump crossed the line of reality,  decency , and honesty including  lying  repeatedly to the point of even perhaps    (in a way) brain-washing some people.

IMO: trump crossed the line even further by knowingly assembling a crowd of his most loyal radical  followers , ramping them up and  directing  them to the capitol.

Many of his followers believed trump himself wanted them to "Stop the Steel" at any cost.(Just as trump operates), some seemed to believe the National Guard would soon be sent to assist them and some evidently  even believed  martial  law would soon be declared.

IF SENATORS HAD BEEN TAKEN HOSTAGE this may have been the next step.

What would have happened IF Senators, House Members or Vice President Pence were taken hostage or were or had been murdered?  ??

Part Two:

Just a little collaboration of what I'm  thinkin  and posting in this seed...

Here's a Timeline of Times Donald Trump Ran for President p lus,  his latest antics      July 28, 2015

TV GuideNews

1987-1988: Trump considers a run for president, while simultaneously juggling large debts stemming from his purchase of the Taj Mahal casino.

2000: Trump enters the presidential race as a Reform Party candidate and receives more than 15,000 votes in the party's California primary.

2003-2004: Trump begins hosting the reality show The Apprentice on NBC, which he also executive-produces. He again mulls a run for president, but ultimately decides not to join the race.

March 2011: A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll shows Trump leading all presidential contenders, including Mitt Romney.

May 2011: Trump officially announces that he will not run for president.

2013: Trump forms a presidential exploratory committee and, despite a strong backing from Republican voters, announces that he has no interest in running for governor of New York in 2014.

February 2015: Trump decides not to renew his Apprentice contract, fueling speculation that he's mulling a run for president.

June 2015: Trump formally announces that he's running for president in a speech delivered from Trump Tower in New York City. Almost immediately, corporations and individuals that have partnerships with Trump - including Macy's, NBC and Univision - begin to sever ties with the mogul because of disparaging comments he made about Mexicans in the speech announcing his candidacy.

Martial law is the temporary imposition of direct military control of normal civil functions or suspension of civil law by a government,

Martial law may be declared in cases of major natural disasters; however, most countries use a different legal construct, such as a state of emergency.

Martial law has also been imposed during conflicts, and in cases of occupations, where the absence of any other civil government provides for an unstable population.

Typically, the imposition of martial law accompanies curfews; the suspension of civil law, civil rights, and habeas corpus; and the application or extension of military law or military justice to civilians. Civilians defying martial law may be subjected to military tribunal (court-martial)

I doubt Trump had plans in case of a hostage situation. In four years, he has never shown any sign of thinking that far ahead.

I think he did and had but, trump blew his takeover because of mainly his lack of details in planning.

I also believe trump miscalculated the real lack of utter violence his followers were willing to commit at the time.

IMO: Most Americans aren't really programed to commit horrendous violence or murder to just get  their own way.

IMO: trump has raised his children to be much like he is.

Yes, I do think it probably would take more than money itself to ever really turn at least his children against their father.

I'd say is a good thing though.

But, Enough power ?  Well ?

IMO: trump Has raised his children to be much like HE is, so ya never know. POWER +$$$ ??

I do think it would for sure take a shitload of cash and or power to get his son's to turn on him though.

and I'm sure trump really does trust his children more than any humans on earth.

trumps true confidants and advisers, his family.

IF trump can't take the presidency again I'm sure he will push for one of his sons to be president soon enough.

Betray their father ? Unlikely.

IMO: the trumps are all too alike. Power thirsty !

Hi Steve...... I've had this nagging feeling that Trump was willing to martyr Pence, McCarthy, just about anyone in congress to declare martial law, negate the election, so to stay in office.

  • He was ready to throw pence to the dogs on 6JAN21, and that has been documented by phone calls and tweets.
  • He was ready to throw McCarthy to the dogs on 6JAN21, and that screaming match is well documented.
  • In the days leading up to the congressional certification of the electoral college, S. Powell, and Mike Flynn made statements regarding martial law.
  • The My Pillow guy was photographed with the words martial law on his note pad on the day of his visit to the WH.

I have no proof, just superficial data points and perceived Trump motivations.

Yep not happy at all with how trump ruled and left America.

Hell I haven't been happy with America's political system since our choice of presidents was trump or hildabeast.

Furthermore I'm still not real happy with how our government is being ran.

As a true middle of the ground political person IMO: Both parties are unreasonably power hungry.

I'm a true believer in the two parties compromisingly running the country.

I believe both republicans and democrats have both advantages and disadvantages to their ways and believes.

I really do believe that America is and has been GREAT Because of the mix between cons and libs.

Cons change too slowly

libs change too fast

IMO: A combination of both cons and libs helps responsibly change America as the world changes around us.

the party of trump was/is neither republican nor democrat, trump's political party was and is the party of TRUMP.  A one man party for one purpose, one person's power.

Trump knows that the safest place for him is the WH, protected by a Justice Department policy of NOT indicting a sitting president, which would enable this Devil to commit sins until he died in office.

Trump had, and may still have, a warm relationship with the NY MAFIA. He shared the same Attorney, Roy Cohen, who represented both corrupt entities on numerous business deals.

Trump did business with the Mafia Don, sold properties to him, invited him out of the shadows to his "Gala Affairs," that "Don" Donald held for the Mafia Don.

The NY MAFIA controlled the building trades in NYC.

Trump's intentions haven't changed. He is running, as he always has been, from the LAW. When he got elected he started floating that trial balloon, "Wouldn't it be great if we had a President for LIFE?" Then, pointed toward himself, his Cult went Nuts with "Hew-Haws," waving Confederate Flags, and screaming like juveniles, "Lock HER Up!"

Guess who is going to be "LOCKED UP!"

I really don't think it's that complicated. We all spent the last year watching fired up crowds march on government buildings, block roads, and highways - and yes: do an awful lot of property damage - all to force radical change in the way government does things. Trump decided he would try to get some of that action for his cause.

IMO: trump already had what he did in mind as his trump card for some time. Look back to when this man actually started flying the "The only way I can lose is the election has to be rigged" gambit.

IMO: this was a genuine effort to take over the power of the presidency by any means at any cost. Why that so hard to see for people to see ?

Doing pretty much anything trump wants to get what trump wants is how trump has operated all of his life.

For one thing, if that's what he was going for, it was a pretty shitty effort. In fact, other than get people pumped up, he didn't actually do anything to accomplish that goal. Second, some 60 court cases were filed and I don't know how many direct appeals to election officials were made.
