The first PUBLISHED ARTICLE for which I was paid, was in 1968 in the SALT WATER SPORTSMAN Magazine … twenty-five cents a word … and I think the check I received was for $125, drawn on the National Shawmut Bank Of Boston, in Massachusetts. It was a personal thrill and milestone to say the least....
